    The Muddy Bottoms Bounty Hole has never been pulled the full 300ft. Each year though, the trucks are bigger and badder, so it was inevitable that someone would eventually collect the $5500 bounty.
    Entries were as follows:
    Justin Sprayberry
    Brianna Hachcock
    Wesley Wamble
    Michael Britton
    Gary Morris
    Scott Davis
    Josh Morris
    Dylan Randel
    James Fleckenstein
    Daniel Roberts
    Leif Henry
    Mike Kelley
    Congratulations to Mike Kelley for his recent acquisition of STROKE THIS and his win in the Bounty Hole!

    the problem that keeps arising in these bounty holes is the mud that gets stuck in the front of the trucks.
    If there was a half cone or something, like what the front of a boat has, most, if not all of the trucks would make it through easily.

    The front is built wrong on most. They become a mud pusher stopping the truck. You need a plate that lifts the front so it doesn't bog.

    It's so easy to see why they get stuck but it looks like no one can figure out how to setup the trucks right. What gets everyone is the axels. They just plow the mud and that slows the momentum plus adds a barrier. Need to worry less about overall ground clearance and start to take into account axel to ground clearance.
    Neat trucks tho!!

    • @connerwilcox6278

  • @Dhime
    @Dhime 5 років тому +5

    Seems like the dually had different gearing on the two diffs. The rear tires seemed to be moving at about half the rate of the front. Wouldn't the trick be to have the rear spinning faster with more weight and the front just cutting path?
    Anyway, excuse my ignorance. Just commenting on what I seen on the video.

    • @tycobuttflex4079
      @tycobuttflex4079 5 років тому

      Dhime perhaps it would, but with all that weight the trucks rear would sink more and dig itself in. With front wheels that pull while the back pushes you get optimal weight and power distribution

      matt blytherq These trucks are not cheap, the work they put into getting their truck how it is isn't cheap. I'm sure they can handle the payment of custom built high strength CV axles. But I see what you're saying about the angle and it position, that's going to be a challenge.
