I like how every mouse review on the internet focuses on the click sound and some sort of maraca shake test, for about 10 minutes and then the performance statement is usually 2 seconds long "performance is good". WOW.
Nowadays all sensors in modern mice perform pretty much the same and there is not noticeable difference, there isn't anything else to say about them. Similarly click latency etc is all going to be about the same. I'm always looking to improve my reviews though so what would you like to see instead?
@@Tekify I don't know if you are allowed to, but I would actually like to see people disassemble the mice, and go through the internal layout of the mouse. Why is it "light"? They must have cheaped out on something to make it lighter. Does the middle mouse button have a good design (like the titan wheel by Roccat)? I suspect this burst pro goes back to the crappy regular middle mouse click design because it tries to be lighter. I bought Kain 200 AIMO yesterday, because I was sold on the principles of the internal design, not so much on the meme-like statements, e.g. "8KHz polling by Razer Viper". I know it is difficult to do these videos though especially when the company's claims are so wacky, e.g. "save 8 milliseconds of your life by clicking this mouse". I would like to see reviewers have a little bit more skepticism of these "bandwagon" claims. For example, compare a 60 gram-weighted mouse vs a 70 or 80-gram weighted-mouse. Would you rather go for wireless (with a bit more weight in it presumably because of the internal design + battery)? or would you rather go for this "wired flex cable" stuff just to "shave off" 10 grams. At some point, we all have to ask ourselves "DO I EVEN LIFT BRO?" if we are so sensitive to 10 grams of weight...
the mouse i have been using for 5 years has 3 times higher lift off distance than this one and I've never had an issue with it. 11 playing cards is like 1 mm or something. Anyways, good video, very informative
@@Tekify the sad thing is that roccat wants you to do that, buy the expensive one because it has key better componements, im prob not going to buy the pro cuz i have sweaty hands as frick and i cant spend that much money on a gaming mouse cuz my mom doesnt want me to do that.
Good luck finding this on the market right now with the whole pandemic thingy. It's out of stock on official site and no store seems to have it here in Greece.
very happy with this mouse its my first gaming mouse and feels amazing but still upgrading to the model o wireless after a while because the stiff wire does annoy me and i cant find a paracord cable for it in stock anywhere
For most people maybe not. It's the feet and cable which make the bigger difference. The way I see it is a mouse is something you use all the time and will keep for a long time. I also think it's the piece of hardware which will affect your performance the most in games. Therefore I think it's worth saving up for a better mouse. However if $30 is at the top of your budget then it's going to be fine. Hopefully that makes sense.
It works for the time been about an year than suddenly middle click button failed to function. Sad that the support is sh*t and they refuse to substitute it within 2 year warranty. never again. Is a great value for money for an year then just drop it to a bin.
did you do a rewiew on the hyperx pulsfire fps pro or had any expirience becuse i am going beetwen it and the g203 lyghtsinc and if you had wich one do youreccomend
I am not able to check right now but from memory I personally preferred the coating on the core because the translucent shell for the RGB on the Pro didn't feel amazing in my opinion. If I remember I'll check when I get chancr
I'm pretty sure the clicks are the same so it would be the same. How much exactly I don't know. Apparently you can't drag click and maybe some other techniques as they are optical switches. It's not something I personally do so I can't confirm it for you. Hopefully that was helpful
@@Tekify clicks on viper mini feel less statisfying than g203, also they're a bit heavy and take some time to get used to. Is that normal or did i get unlucky? Also will reassembling the mouse fix the heavy clicks?
The viper mini uses optical switches which supposably have better performance but don't feel as nice as mechanical switches (in most people's opinion) so what you've said makes sense. As for them being heavy I don't know, I doubt reassembling would fix much.
The lift off distance was the one thing I was worried about with this mouse, thanks for mentioning that in the review.

Love my burst core, wouldn't trade it for any other mouse on the market
great review thanks! you have an interesting angle use of your keyboard.

its rival 3 but much better :> weight less, better side buttons, better sensor possition and better price than rival 3
im probably going to get this to replace my broken razer viper mini, is the pro version worth the 20 bucks or nah? would love to know
Yeah definitely, if you can stretch for the pro it's much better than the core. Let me know what you decide

I'd pronounce it "row-cat" but I reckon that's wrong. The double "C" kinda hints that the "O" should be pronounced like the O in "hot"
Yeah that makes sense, I thought it was row-cat for years

my burst core's right click fell out of place, i clicked it back on, but now the right click is though to click down, anyone have a fix?
Might get this instead of the rival 3 if it gets put on Amazon.
I personally would

Roccat Burst Core dpi intervals?
400, 800, 1600, 3200 by default. You can change them in software though
Is the Burst Pro sensor really worth 30$ more? I have the Zowie FK1 at the moment with the 3310 Sensor.

Nah Viper Mini was a better choice don't worry. I forgot the Viper Mini is on sale at the moment, it's usually more expensive

Awesome, I'm glad they feel better. Yeah they won't feel as nice but they supposedly perform better (I doubt you'll notice though)
Just when I bought DA essential on 25$... : ')
Ok
Return it
