i just checked onetricks.gg and he does build eclipse but goes into bruiser items while Wukong is currently profane>eclipse>bc so you basicalyy build no real bruiser items till 3rd item then build more lethality. It really sucks atm
Excellent content, gave a cool insight into the current situation of wukong, I've never played much of Wukong, but in recent years I've felt uncomfortable with his gameplay and how he escalates throughout the game when I pick him up, these ideas would help a lot, he would become one of those really annoying champions to play against that everyone hates, like Shaco or Le Blanc

Ofc Riot thinks that we would be better have champs like Aatrox and Riven who can build either bruiser items and lethality items and still be very strong even from behind. Pantheon is in similar situation as Wukong (in the jungle at least). As D3 Pantheon Jungle main I can say that Pantheon is so bad with bruiser items that he must build lethality, but he is still bad even in this conditions. Everyone knows that Pant can "oneshot" enemy squishes, but the problem is that this squishes "oneshot" Pantheon itself. If they want to make Pantheon an assasin, then give him more mobility, and if you want to make him bruiser, give him less damage and make him more tanky. Riot does neither.
@@Fade-exe yeah they really need to fix champs instead of ignoring them. The latest buffs to Wukong won't do much as he still has low dmg late game and isn't tanky enough. His kit is basically a half fighter half assassin diver. They definitely overtuned ADCs and ap champs have solid item choices right now. Hopefully they fix them, I know Phreak talked about more stuff for Wukong later this season but he needs a rework imo

it's technically on his e but i always thought he could have a passive like taliyah where he gets out of combat movespeed riding on nimbus
