However, if you do engage with them, and the toxic player reports you for it, then its likely you'll receive a penalty as well. So, at this point, its better to mute. And if you get reported for no communication, then quit league. Like I did lol.

For anyone curious, the report system and penalty is all automatic now. Aside for scanning for no no wrong think words, if you get reported enough it will auto penalize and pull any chat log from that as justification The best thing you can do is turn your chat off and not type.
