Despite the beautiful lyrics of this amazing song, it still kind of makes me feel sad ? But also dreamy. The amount of nights I spent just lying in my bed listening to Deftones and thinking about stuff. This band is magical.
A lot of their songs remind me of the good times I had with my ex fiancé. It was a terrible breakup, but at the same time, there were some very nice moments. So in essence, bittersweet music.
I just saw them this year at ACL. I set up their equipment actually and Chino was all over the crowd!!! Loving on them so much!!! I fell deeper in love watching him that close in action. ❤️
Deftones is such a special metal band. They don’t conform to the genres standards, perfectly balance soft with loud, make you feel like you’re floating and anyone can find a song/album to enjoy no matter your taste in music.

One of the things I love the most about Deftones is the way they divide their own fans, but in a good way. Everyone has a different favourite album and their favourite songs aren't always the singles. Their ability to evolve and change their music constantly means that something they produce at some point taps a nerve and appeals to that person where they're at when they first heard it. For me, the first time I heard Pink Cellphone blew my mind with how creative the music was and it stuck in my head for years. I love their heavy stuff, I love some of their soft stuff, I love some of their aggressive stuff, I love some of their trippy stuff, I love some of their old, I love some of their new. That's a band with staying power. To me they're like the Smashing Pumpkins of alternate metal.

One of the things I love the most about Deftones is the way they divide their own fans, but in a good way. Everyone has a different favourite album and their favourite songs aren't always the singles. Their ability to evolve and change their music constantly means that something they produce at some point taps a nerve and appeals to that person where they're at when they first heard it. For me, the first time I heard Pink Cellphone blew my mind with how creative the music was and it stuck in my head for years. I love their heavy stuff, I love some of their soft stuff, I love some of their aggressive stuff, I love some of their trippy stuff, I love some of their old, I love some of their new. That's a band with staying power. To me they're like the Smashing Pumpkins of alternate metal.
