I did the Zipp QuickView a few years ago. The Wahoo and Garmin puck is the same puck, you just rotate it 90 degrees in the mount. It came with the GoPro mount underneath the computer mount. I use a light and an action camera on mine and am not a fan of using the thumb screw, so I bought a quick release mount from Ulanzi to swap them out quickly, or to take them off the bike if I stop.

@@TheSweetCyclists yup! The longer ones did brake plus the duo base one if u used computer + light combo there. The plastic just cant hold sub 150-200g weight, battle road vibrations and damage from uv.
Are you talking about the mount that holds the accessories to add the computer mount or light mount or the stem? Does it give warning before it breaks or is it random?
I believe most stem head caps will need some small spacer above them in order to properly clamp down. You would have to confirm with Trek, but I don't see why the Trek RSL stem would be a special case.
@@TheSweetCyclists I confirmed with Trek. They said you could run the top cap flush, but it would negate the warranty if there's any damage to the steering stem.
@@ayowser01 Thanks for posting their response. That's an interesting answer, you might want to have a shop just look it over to confirm everything looks safe without the spacer.
@TheSweetCyclists I did that. That's how I ended up with an RSL stem. The first time, they said if I used an RSL stem, I could run it flush. The second time, they noticed the flushed cap and told me I needed 5mm of space; different techs/sales staff.
Is the Blendr prongs compatible with GoPro prongs? They look so evenly spaced out, so I was wondering if you could ditch the small Blendr2GoPro extension and mount GoPro things directly.
Yes, the spacing is actually the same so you can directly connect it. There isn't much space directly off the Duo bases though, so you may still need the extension to get the right camera angle.

The reviews are pretty bad though, so you might want to just get a stem quadlock or something with better reviews.

The bontrager plastic is super prone to break. Saw alot of angry customers working as a Trek retailer for 10+ years.
That's interesting to hear - was it mainly the longer Garmin mounts that broke? I'm surprised Trek doesn't offer more alloy mounts.

Hello. Thank you for the review. Can you use the base on another brand's stems or do you have to buy the trek stem ?
You have to use Trek's stem - it's specifically designed to fit the base with the tabs to hold the base down.
I was told by my Trek lbs that it is suggested to leave 5mm of steer tube above the stem. Do you happen to know if having the RSL stem negates this?

I have to hybrid bike (trek fx’s) but I like the ion mount at the bottom, for ion200 up front, do you think cabling will interfere with?
You should be able to tuck the wiring underneath the mounts, I've used these mounts on wired setups without an issue.
Any way to mount a cell phone?

What doesn't fit? Trek offers Blendr stems in a variety of lengths and angles to accommodate a wide range of bike fits.
