The Future of Home Heating in BC

Elaborating on the @bnirevolutionbc speech we posted on Thursday about the future of home heating - a few very important things needed for me to 100% buy into this plan that I wanted to add to the speech but was on a time limit!
1. Dual fuel forced air system (approved)
2. Dual fuel hydronic heat system (air to water heat pump with gas boiler or combo back up (needs to be approved)
3. Hybrid gas heat pump electric hot water tank (approved but needs to be made by a manufacturer)
4. Out clause for homeowner to install a system that will cost over $? (for example one of our customers would need to pay 35k to get a panel upgrade due to the location of the electricity on the other side of the street tied into the middle of the span with no poles)
5. Out clause for a homeowner who makes less than $? a year
Also let’s not forget we can still use gas for lifestyle items such as fireplaces, cooking, BBQ, fire table...🤔💭
