Love my Continental duel fuel system we have (sorry I didn’t get a quote from you..just found you online today) …what settings do you program for the Heat 2 delay … when thr gas furnace kicks in? All winter it seems like I’ve only been burning NG and I’ve never seen my heat pump working. Just read the manual today (we have a Tekmar thermostat) and it was set at 2 min…no wonder the gas was always burning.

Haha,, it's a horn off a deep setting wax seal for a water closet (commode/toilet) where it fits into your floor flange to seal off water loss (when you flush your john) making a watertight seal between your closet bowl & the flange tied into your plumbing waste system. It'd be interesting to find out how this happened,, I did plumbing work for a pretty long time & never have seen this occur before. All the workings are pretty much stationary & it makes little sense how something larger than the outlet hole of the water closet itself could allow that horn to make it's way into the bowl outlet like that. Thought I'd seen it all,, apparently not! I was humming along watching ear wax removal from folks' ears & a little magical clickbait ended me up in closet bowl wax land. Somehow I don't see them as being one & the same?
