I’ve just ordered my first texture plate. Nice to see a tutorial on hammering instead of using a rolling mill. I didn’t know that the rolling mill curved the texture plates making them unusable for hand hammering. (Thanks for sharing that information.. it’s very handy to know.) And thanks for showing us what NOT to do. (Ouch!)
Thanks Tammy for watching my videos. However, you are watching my old channel which I can't upload anymore videos because google screwed it up for me. Please subscribe to my new UA-cam channel it's under (Elie Ghanime). Thank you.
Hi Susan, thank you for watching my videos, this particular texture plate I got from Rio Grande. However, if you want real nice ones, you need to see the one Roberta Pihl makes, go to her website www.oregontrailsilver.com and don't forget to mention my name :)

@@EgJewels Thank you for this information. I have been looking for something like this but kept only finding cutsey craft hammers.
Awesome video thank you .......bummer about your finger ...I once closed a car door on my thumb so I know the pain....
Thanks, my finger is not bad right now, I'm glad I didn't break it, the hit was over the nail and not the knuckle.
