I was on Comet-4Bs as cabin crew while I was learning to fly way back in the 1960s, (that didn't work out, the medics decided I was blind and deaf at 22 years of age?) But it was a fun period in my life. Uniquely this presenter has managed to convey as an educational everything that is dependent for its success on conveying understanding; not swamped at the beginning by unwanted noise that the video editors want to call introduction-music...."Wow"...............
small correction on the video, Localizer antenna is located on the other end of the runway that you’re planning to land. Also you also misrepresented the projector of the glide slope vs localizer. So the localizer projection should be displayed vertically and the glide slope horizontally.
Generally all aircraft landings are made on 3 degrees glide slope no matter if flying in poor weather (instrument meteorological conditions) or in good weather (visual meteorological conditions. There might be exceptions though, for example in London City airport there is a 5.5 degree glide slope (due to skyscrapers in the area), however this is a rare exception rather that a rule and pilots making approach in these non standard airports have to be specifically extra trained
