Those wheels are from a SXT, the basemodel challenger and not the hellcat. Hellcats are more of a mesh and newer version are 5 spoke design. This was not a hellcat challenger.
There’s a low chance it was suicide, if it truly was, he would’ve hit the column closer to head on, not just clipping the side of it. The steer was probably due to an arm on the wheel while looking into the back seat, causing the car to turn slightly. Also, if you look at the footage closely, it appears that he wasn’t paying attention and saw the cars in front of him so he swerved in order to avoid it, causing him to lose control. If he had turned right then must have been too late for him to swerve left, so he risked swerving right.
Dodge Challengers and chargers are known to crash because of the insane power it has compared to how bad the car is made, once its up to speed its an unguided missle ready to hit smt
