The makeup looks gorgeous, just don’t appreciate how they had to make her face several shades lighter just for her to look “pretty”. She was already gorgeous when she came in, I think using a foundation shade that actually matched her and then using a concealer to brighten would had created a more natural youthful look.
Do keep in mind that 99% of Korean makeup only comes in 3 shades. Ghost white, Snow White, acceptable white. I think just this year some brands started to carry shades that fits people that aren’t super light skinned.

Many Asian women not just Korean women want to look white like they did in the ancient past (wealthy girls etc) and it's the beauty standard. But times have changed and tan skin is actually better as it protects us from sunlight. There are fair women who look pretty but also tan and darker skin people who look beautiful.

Koreans are just like everyone else - they all love having perfect skin. They work hard to get their makeup just right, but they don't like it to look too heavy, so they focus a lot on skincare. That's why their skin looks so good. It's not all because of makeup. I've never seen people who care as much about having flawless skin without foundation as Koreans do.

You definitely can wear eyeliner like that too! I also have hooded eyes and dark/black wing eyeliner techniques never worked for me. Korean eye make up techniques work for me the best, I draw my eyeliner with brown eye shadow, super thin and downturned so my hooded eyelids don't hide my eyeliner 😊

Most people these days are over contouring and look like a quilt in their face with different shades of browns, white and pink 😂😂 The worst part is the brown noses that make them look like a deer and the pink blush all the way up to their under eye and even next to the eyes. Like that is a natural look 😂😂😂 This looked clean and fresh😊 The paler shade is more youthful looking.
