Merry Christmas to you and your family too. I live just down the road from MidwayUSA and I’m a regular customer. Good company and good people. Always nice to see when quality companies partner with quality people. Stay warm.
They really are a great company and everyone I’ve worked with over there is top notch. They are all like minded outdoormen and women just like us. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for another great video. I have put a bunch of crappie in the freezer this fall doing what I've learned from watching your videos. Merry Christmas to you and yours
I really appreciate your videos. I live and fish in Wisconsin and have used Crappie and Trout Magnets for about 7 years. I have had great success on natural and neon colors such as chartreuse and orange. I have used them for ice fishing also.
Another informative video. Thx for the tips. ( scent ) ( trout magnet). I love it when a fisherman leaves the lake and their boat trailer is the last one in the lot. Addicted. Merry Christmas.
Love your channel. I’ve been using the trout magnets for a couple years now here in WA. Mainly in the winter but when they get picky in the summer down sizing to the trout magnet works well. Thanks for the vids!
So I gotta ask man, between the crappie magnet and trout magnet….which one do you like more for crappie fishing and why? Also, I’m newer to your channel and have binge watched several of your crappie vids as I’m an avid crappie fisherman, your a great teacher, clear in explaining what your doing and how and why your doing it. I’m seriously impressed. Please don’t stop making crappie vids…theirs a ton of us out here who love these exact type of videos. God bless you and your family brother and tight lines!
I am new to your channel and live in Texas thanks for the information the crappie have been hard to come by . I am a bank fisherman and will be getting me some of the Trout magnets!!!!!!!!!!
Another great video Brandon, really enjoy you showing about changing sizes makes a big difference! Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I am envious, I live on Lake Murray in South Carolina and it has been raining so much the water around where I live looks like chocolate milk. The lake is down 10 ft because they're having a significant winter draw down and the rain has been dragging all that silt into the water. You and yours have a Merry Christmas and I enjoy your videos and advice. 😁👍
Brother definitely a FISHERMAN... I've gotten so use to LiveScope over the last 3 years that I've lost touch with casting for Crappie... I'm going to get out on my next trip to put that back in action. GREAT VIDEO!!!!!! Happy Holidays for Christmas 2022 from Dallas, Tx & Brotherly Love to ya.... ✌
Dang man you are a fishing machine, Love the crappie fishing videos, I know your a bass guy lol, keep the video coming Brother. Merry Christmas to you and the family
Nice Job! We use that trout magnet ( trim about 1/8 inch off body ) and rig on that same 1/64 head….works well cast for Bluegills on the 2lb. S.O.S line Jeff offers. Rob in Texas
Brandon, another GREAT video !!!! If you ever need someone to crappie fish with you I'd love to go 😆😆 Thank you and I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a very Blessed, prosperous and tournament winning New Year !
My buddy just got some micro jigs, Atomic Mites, they're made to resemble zooplankton which crappie feed heavily on in colder weather. I don't know if you're a Berkley guy but check em out, I'd probably suspend em under a slip float
As always look forward to your videos over anyone else’s. I loved this one as well. Entertaining and informative videos. Just curious was this video shot on Monday the 19th?
Awesome video. I’m looking to get active target. Is it difficult to have mounted to trolling motor with spot lock? I know when I have spot lock on my motor moves all over the place. How does that work with active target?
I like it being on the trolling motor for bass fishing because I am covering more water and “hunting” more, but if I was using it for mostly crappie fishing I would definitely put my transducer on a separate mount like a rite-hite or cornfield crappie so it stays stationary when you spot lock.
I know you have a lot of people you have to respond to and I’m a needle in a haystack. But is there anyway you could do a video on how to use a bait caster for beginners? I’m terrible at it and birds nesting it almost every time lol. Thanks Tony Spence
The main reason I use 1/64 and 1/32 ounce heads on these small baits is because it’s nearly impossible to find any jig heads that are heavier and have a #8 hook. Even if you could find a heavier head with a small hook it just wouldn’t look natural in my opinion. Also the split shot rig is easier to track on Active Target
We also have a community to hole but it's a bridge that is two miles long. I during the winter and summer months I put on a tiny bait and I can usually catch a limit by downsizing my bait. Those fish have seen every 2 inch bait made by man.

@@BrandonLesterFishing Thanks so much for getting back with me. That’s exactly what I needed to know!

I will definitely do this in a future video. Thanks for watching!
Nice video
love your videos dude... wondering if you would like to try some of my jigs. i just think it be cool if you used them in a video.
I’m in Georgia I’d love to get together and do some dock shooting!
Interesting video using the trout magnet! Could you explain why you use the weight above the 1/64 jig. Why not just use heavier jig
?
The main reason I use 1/64 and 1/32 ounce heads on these small baits is because it’s nearly impossible to find any jig heads that are heavier and have a #8 hook. Even if you could find a heavier head with a small hook it just wouldn’t look natural in my opinion. Also the split shot rig is easier to track on Active Target
What lake you fishing? I have been wanting to come to Tim's Ford to fish for some crappie.
Awesome content man! What wool gloves are those?
They are Nomad wool gloves.
We also have a community to hole but it's a bridge that is two miles long. I during the winter and summer months I put on a tiny bait and I can usually catch a limit by downsizing my bait. Those fish have seen every 2 inch bait made by man.
Size makes a big difference to crappie. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video! What size is the split shot you are using?
Size 5. Thanks for watching!
Mr Lester may I ask where you got the 1 1/4 trout magnet in mermaid?
MidwayUSA.com has them. Thanks for watching
They work and there is the proof!
What kind of rod reel combo are you using ?
6’ medium light action rod. 2500 size reel. Thanks for watching!
Good video
Thanks!
Fun times
Reel Ratio?
What brand line is that? Pound test?
Vicious panfish mono. 4lb
You caught some slabs with that tiny bait.
After watching several of your videos I believe you could catch a crappie in a pothole with a poptop !
Millworm color and black head for gills on bed is fire
What kind of you for crapie fishing
Berkley mayfly, .75 inch soft plastic was killing trout last week.
