I used to ride a master too and I enjoyed it. But the EX30 is even better hahaha, a lot more range and more power, plus less top heavy even though it’s heavier than the master, it feels easier to ride. 😌 - Skinny
@@2cells1pack it really feels easier to ride? Because of its lower center of balance/gravity? I do admit, the master is a wheel that has to be tamed haha being so top heavy
you and her flow so good together i enjoy the videos you both are making together. its good to see a small girl riding i try to watch your videos when my wife is around maybe someday she will be like if that little girl can ride maybe i can try as well lol
Great review 👏 I wish I had the money for the ex30 I really like it. Shame about the pedals didn't realize this, at the very least however begode imo is the only manufacturer at least trying to put decent stock pedals on wheel. When I have had enough of Karen and set her on fire, I'm certain to head to the side of begode. It is an exiting time, it's as if we are getting to that rider dependent moment. Currently we require to ride within parameters to stay safe. And Christine, you aren't really short, these suspension wheels are getting really tall. I'm 6 feet and even the s22 is high enough
Nice wheel, nice review! Wondering if Begode is ever going to implement the dynamic tiltback on their wheels (user enabled/disabled). Freestyler did a wonderful job for Begode wheels, but this should come from factory .
I don't think any manufacturer currently has dynamic tiltback unfortunately. There are so many things that I want to see them work on, i think we can wait a little for dynamic tiltback.
great video, have a safe test, and next time, ride the stairs up as well. E-NJOY your E-MOTION same as I do after 9 years of riding and 70km ridden on my wheels
@@2cells1pack you are right, but you know in nine years of riding I was asked thousands of times already if I can ride the stairs up (and down) and I would like to be able to answer YES, I don't need any lift.
You guys are the first enthusiasts that I have seen rock the Shoei helmets. I am curious of this choice, because I only know of them making motorcycle helmets. Please, share? In the past, I chose MTB helmets. I am guessing that manufacturers speed increases have voided MTB helmets.
It's all about buying the right helmet for the speeds you want to go. As these wheels get faster, the need for motorcycle helmets gets greater. I don't think I would trust a normal mountain biking helmet beyond 30 km/h
@@Stan-kj8fq Everyone has their own strategy, but this is my strategy which in my head makes sense. However, keep in mind that there's also a balance with weight, and how "hot" it runs.
Looking forward to your next vid guys the commander mini teardown. Please check if it has the same motor seals as the ex30 or any equivalent. Thanks! 😊
@@2cells1pack I'm sure eventually someone will be able to check the seal quality if any. 😊

Hey guys! Excellent video! Please, are these Grizzla flow pads that you use the big or compact size? I have a Master and I'm not sure which size would be best. Thanks!
On a ex30 batch 1 since Apri with >3k kms, I'm loving it more I ride it. I'm faster 20+% on bike pathways without even trying. & yes I do take it out on trails, even blues & light blacks but gnarlies isn't its forte. I've a T4 for that purpose & its far far better. Nothing I cant do on the RSht I cant do on the T4 but much better due to higher peds & suspension. Againi love my ex30 but its definitely not a One Wheel to Rule Them All. At least for me TIP:Your ex bumblebee might do much better on steepies if you set the tilt angle forward a coupla degrees esp for someone as light as Christina
@@2cells1pack In that case, my vote will likely go to the Commander Pro but I haven't ridden it personally so take my vote with an oz of caution. For me, my ex30 is the sportbike on the curvy pathways
Nice review. There is an aspect of the ex30 which I am curious about: how does the sliders fare after getting dirt and mud from riding at trails with raining conditions, do those suffer from stiction after some time that requires maintenance or even replacement?
The sliders are similar to master, t4, master pro, etc. I've seen some get gunked up due to salt corrosion (from riding in wet winter condtions) but other than, it's proved to be fairly resilient.
is it a terrible idea to use those thick cordura pedal straps like some cyclists use? you could still step off, but only backwards and out, but foot retention would be phenomenal. thoughts?
Did you have to do any extra out of the box waterproofing? I'd like to use it as a daily commuter but waterproofing is a big concern of mine. I know it has at least a gasket around the control board right? which is reassuring.
Albert what do you think of the Patton in regards to waterproofing? I am worried because of the display and that there is no rubber gasket. Is there anything I could do as a person who is completely untalented with crafts other than putting a bag over it?
Overall the Patton waterproofing is not bad at all. You won't need to open up the display, unless you are swapping the control board. In this way. The silicon will do its trick for most of its life
The Grizzla fairing catching on to your knee is a bit worrysome. I am kinda hooked on getting an EX30 eventually, but would like a fairing system with handles front and back, much like the Patton or Extreme. I am so used to grabbing on to the front on my Abrams for emergency braking. Is anyone else making complete fairing system for EX30?
There are a couple different vendors. I have noticed it does depend on your height. For taller individuals (or those with longer legs) it was a non-issue.
I didn't have a chance to ride the commander pro too much. The suspension of the cpro from memory is a lot more cushy like a cadillac. It's also more top heavy, and the tire profile is more rounded due to the narrower rim. This is why some people prefer the ex30 for "Drag races" and the cpro for "tight tracks". Personally i like the handling characteristics of the ex30 more.
Hey guys got a question so underneath the seat there's that metal piece that the seat screws to what's that piece called and where would I be able to get another one?
By the way I put you guys in the top 3 for trusted and unbiased and knowledgeable you tube reviewers out there between your ride vids and tare downs/repair videos top notch bravo bravo
@2cells1pack thank you so much.... Also are the t 4 and ex 30 top assemblys the same meaning is I was go by a handle for a t4 would it fit on the ex 30
My opinion on the torque tests you do on the hill: VERY, VERY disapointing. Such an test IS the REAL torque test, and in my view the EX did it badly. Even with Christine as a light weight rider it struggled…and with the “Big Boy” it was shortly before magnet skipping, at least it sounded like that. Probably will getb lot of hate of the EX fanboys, but for a 3600wh wheel ..just disappointing torque… Hopefully the new “current” called firmware will do it better. But thats honestly a thing that all should be developed BEFORE the wheel reaches the mass market. Again we are the beta testers….. Rant over….
I don't get it? What was so bad about this torque test? I been riding for years I have never needed to climb such an incline as this and it performed well for a 3600, it is a 20 inch diameter, bet a monster pro couldn't do this.
This is the style of video I subscribe for! Enjoyed the casualness.

They wanted to make lightweight pedals, and of course with lighter weight = less material = sacrifice on rigidity.

Love euc riding. I have my V12 HS and love it. However, I'm looking for more range. EX 30 looks good so far. Regards from Puerto Rico Rider 🇵🇷.
It’s a very good wheel. The only downside is the suspension shock, as it can be fragile when doing a lot of trail riding from dirt intrusion
