- In this video I describe how I prepare my aquarium for travel. I talk about how I configure my Neptune Systems AFS and my apex. I also discuss my reef octopus skimmate locker and how that enables me to go longer without emptying my skimmate cup.
Have a wonderful holiday and Merry Christmas!

What kind if pedestal rocks are those? Are those the Tonga shelf rocks? Do you have a link to buy them?
How are you liking that light combo?
T5s are 1 coral plus and 1 blue plus per side. I really like this combo for the T5. Well balanced. For the kessils the AP700 color is good when I added in the green and red channels a little. The A360s need a little fuller spectrum. (Which they get in the new version) A couple of the corals have a rater blah color. The got a little uglier after I bought them and I am not sure if that is my lighting or another tank parameter. Salinity crept up to 1.027-1.028 over time but all other parameters have tested fine. So in summary, things are not dialed in perfect yet. I would like to swap the A360s for A360X. I love the kessil shimmer, so with the improved spectrum it may be perfect. But I am considering Ecotech since they are proven to be great, just not a good on the color blending and are very expensive. The best coloration and growth I have ever had was probably with the Hydra52s on my 29 gallon tank. There are some videos on my channel page.
It's not a type of shark that is going to swim around like other sharks. So space required is less than other shark species.
