Just taken delivery today of a leased corolla sports touring through leaseloco. Absolute steal at 235 quid a month, 3 year deal, 10k miles a year. With 2k down. Very happy with that through your recommendation. Thanks again (PS, used ala gap insurance as well)
Watching from NZ and it's interesting to see all the different makes and models you have there. I drive a petrol Mazda and you can still get that model with a petrol only engine, I wonder how many other pure petrol models there are now? Not many I'd guess, hybrids everywhere. We don't get many small diesel cars here because of the way the "fuel tax" is paid on diesel.
Hi Jim, you have changed my life, leasing a car for the first time! also took out the GAP insurance you recommended but they had a better offer than your code by default, I would be having words with them 😧if I was you.
I got one getting delivered this week 😂 great deal, first lease car. I have always kept car 10 years plus so depreciation never a concern but current car only had since June 24 and now 3.5 years old looks like I’m going to loose 20%, not happy. At least with lease you know what it will cost over the period.
@@C-L66 I’m very much believe that you could get cheap second hand and invest the money you save but suppose you get a brand spanking new car. Enjoy ! 🙂
Hi Jim - appreciate your channel and your efforts on behalf of us consumers. Anyway, I’m considering a lease for the 1st time and obviously there are some good deals, my question to someone like yourself (and others who may have leased many cars in the past); if I take the plunge now to take advantage of current deals, is it possible that, in say 2 years I’ll be stung by needing a new lease but the prices are massively higher for equivalent vehicles? Or would you say in general, as long as you shop the deal and not the car there’s usually something that meets a consumer’s needs/price range? Conscious of the crystal ball element here, but just after hearing experience of someone who may have leased consistently in cycles across a number of years. 👍
I have just leased for the first time because in part of a very good deal, but technology is moving fast so who knows what will be on offer by then, after the three years I will make that call if to lease again or buy outright. In the mean time will be investing the money not spent to purchase and from selling my current car and save some more from the deal saving. Feels like a win win.
That is exactly what happened to me. I had a great deal on an Ionic at £210 a month and when my lease was up last February even BEV Leafs were over £300, I ended up buying a pre- registered e 208 for £22,000 and intend keeping it for a few years.
Hi Jim Looking to get my second lease you really helped with my first anyway when the cars say in stock can I still get it after march the 1st as my lease ends 7th April 25 ?

Yeah not so many pure petrols over here now and more 3 cylinders than 4 (6 & 8 are long gone in mainstream cars)

Looking forward to hearing the BEV deals.... Almost went for a Nissan Ariya in Dec at £295/mth... But I was too slow and missed it.
That's a lovely car
I would have a look again today. I’m sure I saw it for cheaper than that!

Just keep shopping the deal, there's always something that takes the eye at the right price
