I’m shocked this didnt come
up but i am too old (and have always been too old) to not openly discuss my period/period products and actually say the word period. Particularly around men. My biggest accomplishment from my previous relationship was desensitizing my boyfriend to periods. Too old to be hiding men from the reason we’re all here!

The beautiful thing about getting older is realizing how much you don’t need alcohol at all to enjoy friends. I’m far too old for drinking in general now. Feel so much better, honestly, without it.

I was probably too old to be watching Blue's Clues at this point, but I remember the episode where Steve left and I was just sitting there with my mouth hanging open like WHAT JUST HAPPENED
The thing Sierra said about family resonated with me. That's how it is with my "mom". It took many years to cut ties, but it's been about 10 years and we still don't have a relationship. While it's sad because my dad passed away and it's like I don't have any parents, it's better than keeping a toxic parent in my life just because they're blood.
When you hit 30s, it's happy hour at 5, dinner at 7pm. Leaving the place by 9-10pm LOL!!! Honestly I'm like man we are leaving early! I'm 39, but still could totally stay out till midnight ha.
So much wisdom from these young women! P.S. Regarding the subtitles - I watched a video talking about how EVERYONE feels like they have to have the subtitles on now. Something having to do with how they record the dialog, music, etc. being more muddled than it used to be. Made me feel better! (VOX: Why we all need subtitles now)

Edit: I also watch bear in the big blue house daily too. I match most puppetry based children’s shows though cause I have autism and puppetry and educational children’s shows from the 90s/2000s are my special interests.

Hi Twenty whatever! I'm only nineteen but i already have stuff Im too old for. I have never had a relationship. Honestly ive never done it because i havent found a person who i like and they like me the same way. Through reading romance books (lol I have high standards mostly from them😂) and observing my friends and their relationships I've come to the conclusion that I will have my first relationship when I find someone who has the same amount to give to the relationship as I do. I had so many friendships where I was desperate to make things work and the other person put in zero effort and that only ended in me heartbroken. Also after three years in therapy I need a person who is willing to learn how to communicate and be vulnerable. I know its hard for a lot of people but you have to be willing to try. Especially when it comes to the bedroom. If I cant have a conversion with you about STIs, no way Im letting you go on a journey to my southern aisles 😘 Thank you for another great episode, love you 💕💕💕

Literally with the "you're old" thing, that's how I feel. I don't have any issue with aging or whatever EXCEPT the idea of losing my family ands loved ones. I just had my first baby a month ago (12/22) and every since I'm so much more aware and terrified of how everyone is getting older and that means one day they will be gone and it hurts so much
the Dungeons and Daddies podcast is SO good! It actually makes me want to play a campaign. My husband played a star wars D&D style tabletop RPG in college and loved it.

Love the podcast ladies! If I’m giving a full honest review I had to click off the last episodes because holy moly the ads.. I swear I got maybe 3 minutes of talking and there was an ad every 3 min. Not sure if it’s on my end only but realized this is the second time I haven’t been able to listen fully cause I just can’t be running to skip all these long ads 😢 love y’all though ♥️

One thing I decided I'm too old for is making myself drive to work in the snow. I work at a job where I don't need coverage if I'm not there, I can just use paid time off or make up the time later. There's no reason for me to risk an accident while it's snowing and the roads are slippery, but I used to do it to show my "dedication." Eff that, the company won't pay my bills if I get into an accident. I'll just take the day off, thanks.

I’m too old … for not setting boundaries at work, in friendships, in relationships period. Ive learned to just protect my peace ❤
In the beginning of me and my partner’s relationship, I was battling with some tough mental health stuff. I didn’t know until years later that he would Google how to be there for someone/help and one of the suggestions was to ask if the person wanted to be helped or just listened to. When he reflected on past situations with me, he realised I was always unhappy with his suggestions to help and I felt unheard. So he started just listening and now I can be like “what do you think, what’s your advice?” and he can give it. Honestly such a game changer (but also so cute that he had no idea and researched what to do 😅)
I play DND with my husband and his friends and we’ve been playing our game for over 2 years! Do what you love - who care if anyone cringes!

I would 100% notice mis-matched socks. My father would safety pin our socks together before putting them in the wash just so we’d never lose any in the wash. NEXT level…I cannot go with mismatching socks, I would lose my mind even if I couldn’t see them. 😅

Vox has a really interesting video why EVERYONE is using subtitles more and more. I was interested in the topic as a non native speaker, but it seems we're not the only ones using them even if we speak the language well 😂😂 I recommend it 👍

I’m in my mid 30s, and I can definitely say that I have been loving my 30s. There’s some things I do miss about being in my 20s, but so much of being in my 30s has been so much easier. Hopefully my 40s will be just as good!
They used to film Slime Time at Universal Studios in Orlando, and my family would go watch it. I was always too nervous to volunteer to be a part of it, though.

The subtitles is totally a new mom, not a getting old, thing. I became a new mom at 41 and never once used subtitles before then. Bam, baby: low volume and subtitles became a necessity. Once you start you can't go back!
