For starters, put a piece of paper or a plastic sheet under your hand while drawings. It'll prevent smudging. Also try using tissue to blend large areas rather than a blending stump or cotton bud
@@ebunoluwaatoyebi9618 depends on how large you want your drawings, really. You could experiment with 18 x 24 inches and you could go bigger if you want
Thank you so very much, I love the way you break down your tutorials... But sir, I think Paper type also affects your drawing, could you please tell me the kind of paper you make use of?
Yes Paper affects your drawing. But you could still get something good with simple white cardboard paper. I use Pelican Card. I also recommend Strathmore Bristol
Any pencil, really. Depends on how you use it. But for beginners, I'll say you stick to HB, 2B, 4B and 6B Graphite Pencils. Maybe grab a Charcoal Pencil while you're at it
I learn in other videos that it is important to learn the planes of the head. Do you apply them to make your drawings of shadings? Thanks for your precious techniques as well 😁
Yes,, kind of, but basically, I copy exactly what's I see my reference photo. But I still use my knowledge of what should be light and dark. It would be of great advantage if you knew the planes of the face.
Awesome 👌🏼.
Looks real.
Thanks 👍
Please do a video on how you achieved this specific skin tone
Noted, but my other videos should be able to help you out
