- @BMDPortraits welcomes you to another real-time drawing tutorial focusing on drawing realistic hair using graphite pencil. Drawing hair can be difficult especially for beginners particularly hairs with very complicated structures and crazy details. Hair is a big part of a portrait and portrait artists should give same priority as the skin tone. This drawing tutorial is done in English so many portrait artists especially beginners can learn and apply it to their own studies and drawings.

I'm so thankful for these helpful videos I really appreciate please go on 🤩
Thank you for this demonstration and the explanations, and the insights you have imparted.
Super 👍👍👍✍️✍️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for that drawing lesson !
Very nice. Really good job describing all the way through. Hair is the most difficult thing to do when drawing a portrait. In my opinion. This was very helpful. Thank you so much.
Gyönyörű munka. 🥰 Köszönöm szépen!
I am told I draw good hair, but I know it is just so, so. I think "layering" will help me to achieve a better results as I now tend to "work" an area of the subject in one pass. I get fair results, but at a large amount of time and the finished job is not as "clean" as your layering approach. Thanks for this video and am now subscribed!
I’m amazed by how real it looks. You are so talented 😊
Thank you! 🤗
Thank you so much for making this video very helpful. Keep up the great work. Please don’t stop making these videos we all appreciate it. Happy new years looking forward to see more 🎉

Bro. You don't see how the hair on the neck is!?? Bro first thing I saw.
👍
It can be increased to darker degrees to brown hair, using more the pencil eraser and blending stump
Thats correct
Hi, My question is: what type and brand of paper are you drawing on for all your tutorial’s???
I mainly use Strathmore Bristol papers....sometimes Canson Mi Tientes and Ca' Grain too
Sir can i ask if what kind of paper are you using. Thank u 🙂
Strathmore Bristol Vellum
Bruh no way... you did whole hair in 20 minutes that looks 10 times more realistic than I did trying to do it realistic for hours (I am complete beginer) Not focusing too much on details is key but I cant get it
You will get it by putting several layers....do not worry you will figure it out...just keep practicing!
I don't have 9B up pencils and charcoal, but I'm currently working with darker hair now. What are the other alternatives that I'm going to do with this?
Ps. Really need tips huhu
U can use ur highest grade...or u can try to put charcoal powder as base
@@BMDPortraits thank you so much!❤️
Ano pong recommended charcoal/graphite pencil for beginners that want to improve. Generals charcoal pencil or conte a paris Pierre noire pencil?
sa charcoal General's medyo pricey lng....sa Graphite, Faber Castell 9000, Lumograph, Mitsubishi
Where iş the other parts? I mean smooth skin tones of this girl videos?
I have the most problems with blonde hair :P
Me too, much harder than dark hairs
How many layers Po bago nyo naaachieve Ang mid tone? Usually Po ba isang layer lang Ang base tone?
Pwede more than 1 layer base tone, depende sa values....ga nun din sa mid
I don't have 3B or 5B, I only have even number of grades. What shall I do😭😭😭
4b would be just fine
I was kidding 😂
