I said it during the live show, get Nick Batum for the vet minimum. He played good D in the playoffs so he could actually play D if he wanted to.
I would like Batum for Oshae’s spot and James Wiseman to be our 2 way man, he can be a beast if he get the Boston Celtic’s defensive scheme in his mine
Wiseman is in year 4. He is ineligable for a two way deal. Needs to be under 3 years.

First priority for me is a big who can start while KP is out. Then get a 3 & D wing who can take it to the hoop on close outs.

Thats 13/14 roster spots occupied. Brissy and svi gone. Most likely that last spot is going to tillman.
We're not signing anyone decent from the buyout market because of the 2nd apron handicap. We need to utilize any opportunity to retain our players now, and sign a vet minimum.

Brissy's as good as gone. Well him or tillman. 1 spot left. Svi is for sure gone. We brought in 3 rooks. At least 2-3 of the old guard are gone.

The celtics need their bigs to do at least of these 3 things well:
1. Shoot 3s
2. Pass the ball well off the short roll/DHO
3. guard in space
Wiseman does none of that. Hes your traditional plodding 7 footer who catches lobs, scores of putbacks and post mismatches.
Theres a reason no one has signed him in 2D of free agency and there are no rumors about him. Theres a reason why the worst team in the league let him walk for nothing.
There are questions about his motor, effort and work ethic. These are RED FLAGS. cant even set screens well enough. Not a high BBIQ guy either.
If you want to feel embraced by a City of Champions as a Free Agent, put on that Celtic Green. Represent it to the utmost. Feel the power. "Welcome to the Green Lanterns".

@@dendon3384 in the celtics system. Nope you need an extra 1. He cant guard in space either and is bad at setting screens. Not good at making passes off the short roll or through DHOs. Theres a reason the pistons, the worst team in the league, let him walk for nothing. Theres a reason that in 2 days of free agency no one has signed him or been rumored to sign him.
The.celtics arent the mavs either who need.multiple, athletic lob threats. They already have queta and luke. No need to duplicate that further. Whats missing is a guy like tillman who can guard in space or a stretch big they can rely on to maintain 5 out when kps injured and al is on the bench/resting on the 2nd night of a B2B.
Everything you want wiseman to do is already done better by luke.
Trust Brad all the way. He has been money in making personnel decisions for the Celtics.
Gordon Hayward/Batum. Wiseman would be a great pickup, could learn from Big AL and KP.

Teams adjust to schemes, not specific players. We were successful in our offensive schemes changing or keeping players isn't going to help the opposition.
I think Boston need Caleb Martin and Demar DeRozan for back up Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.. DeRozan was a good shooter at the mid range.
