There were still some times throughout the playoffs that they weren’t moving the ball as well as they could, but luckily as a Celtics fan that has not been the case this series with the Mavs
I don't understand how anyone who watches basketball could believe this after watching the season. I think people still see "stars" and their numbers and ignore everything else. Just like with politics sometimes I feel like "is anyone else seeing what I'm seeing?". The Celtic's team was suffocating. They played down to teams at times and had bad shooting nights, but those were rare. I watched that Mavericks team all year. They weren't that great outside of their stars. The coaching was meh. The Pacers were a pretty damn good team that would have destroyed them. I just don't get how that isn't obvious to anyone watching.

This proves the point I've been making about Luka for years: He runs his teams JUST like Lebron and that's exactly why he wont win unless he dedicates himself to playing defense. Kyrie is NOT to blame just because he had 2 bad games. They were flooding that man on defense. They gave him the same treatment Dallas gave Anthony Edwards. Boston is showing that if all players get touches, the stars catch a better rhythm. Dallas plays heavy iso ball and in title runs, that kills chemistry and wears your stars out. Wait, isn't Dallas losing the same way Minnesota lost? 🤔 Figure it out Dallas or y'all going home next game. Luka can drink all the beer he wants then.😂😂
I admit that I doubted the Celtics based on Tatum and Brown's play in the 2022 finals. I thought those two would come up small in these finals. I thought wrong. I thought wrong because, not only did I not give them enough credit, I didn't give the rest of their team enough credit. The Celtics have earned my respect; Tatum and Brown have earned my respect.
The Celtics have been on the cusp of winning for awhile now, they been the best team in the league, and they added Holiday and Porzingis who both were amazing on their previous teams. I'm really shocked people are surprised by this. Boston is clearly the best team in the league far and above the rest. Mavs have been and still are the underdogs. If they get swept i'm honestly not surprised.
people heavily discounted white, zing, and jrue. that is a big 3 on most NBA teams. add tatum and brown and you get a 5 man unit that all can shoot and defend well above average. its no chance. 2v2 kyrie and luka might beat brown and tatum. but this isnt 2v2. its 5v5. and more like 2v5.
Can't fault people for questioning BOS. The core of Tatum and Brown have always had their struggles since their first Finals in the playoffs with producing wins. This is what struggling is all about, perseverance. After this they will have earned unconditional respect

Thank You . I believe that Jason Tatum, Jaylen Brown, will go down as some of the best all around players to ever play in the NBA. It’s easy to find fault. Each and every year both players have improved, in shot selection, passing, and defense. In fact the same applies to the role players, Payton Pritchard, Sam Houser, etc. I hope this unit can remain together for as long as is possible.
I get that people weren't convinced of the Celtics before the playoffs started because of their previous playoff struggles. But throughout these 2024 playoffs especially in ECF. Yeah they were playing a bit down to there competition but they won 3 games that were incredibly close. Games they wouldnt lost any other season. That was the only question I had for them so when they did that I was confident they would win even without KP. And as for Tatum, remember players of the caliber of Tatum and JB don't fully develop until 27-28. Guess how old Brown is? 27. Tatum is having the type of Finals scoring wise Lebron had in 2011 yet unilke Bron he didn't fully disappear. Don't be suprised if next year after this Tatum (who will be 27 next year for the playoffs) "levels" up. Even if he doesn't this team is going to be up there as favorites.
I believe during this season. They had 1 in-season game where they put together one of if not the most efficient stretch of 4 quarters ever played in nba history. This shows that their potential as currently constructed barring injury is actually unmatched by any nba team today.

As a Boston fan we are so sick of the media dissing our team at every turn. All the teams chanting we want Boston. How them apples 🍎 now?

I'm not a Boston fan, and was kind of hoping the Mavs could win so Luka could finally get his props, but the Celtics have really been a great team the whole damn season AND post-season. They've earned this and deserve the chip -- congrats Cs fans
"So Luka could finally get his props"? All the media does is slob down Luka. I think LeBron is the only player that they bow down to more. I'm glad JB will finally get his just due. The guy didn't make all nba or all defense although he deserved a spot on both but will be a eastern conference and finals mvp.
Thank u wish more haters were as gentlemen and honest as u sir
Luka will be fine he been a golden boy since day 1
The pundits and “experts” aren’t going to eat humble pie…they are going to act like they picked the Celtics all along.
Give Joe Mazzullo his due. He has greatly matured as a h.c.
He matured, but most importantly, he actually has a staff now that isn't one foot out the door. Last year as a rookie coach, he was stretched thin because he was suddenly thrust into being head coach because Udoka couldn't keep it in his pants and if Udoka wasn't there, his staff definitely didn't want to be there. Mazzulla was able to build his own coaching foundation this past offseason and it shows.
Mazzulla is Italian from RI. That’s a different type of strength that you don’t mess with.
That Jalen Brown poster dunk on Kyrie was insane 👀🔥

You might need to add Bleacher report to the list. I saw notifications of Mavericks are favorite in Game 2,3, and now 4. Yes they have favorite in Game 4 despite being down 3-0.
Its funny all these sports media pundits that got this wrong are the same ones that said Tom Brady was done before he won 4 additional Superbowls LMAO
Max Kellerman especially
You hit the nail right on the head. Great video ❤
Boston had one of the best regular seasons for a team and still the media found every reason to criticize them, their stars and their playoff run. Now they are one win away from getting more criticism 😂
And swept the season series against Dallas. It was shocking how many people were picking Dallas.

This summer it’s gonna be a brown is better than Tatum narrative. A passive aggressive way to try and split up this juggernaut
The best thing the Celtics did was get rid of Marcus Smart, I remember so many games in the past few years where he would think he was the star player, and take all the late game shots. Now that he’s gone, the offense runs a lot smoother. Holiday is major upgrade
Can you remember any games that Marcus Smart hit a game winner... Because I can and he was big on defense come on now
You hit the nail on the head
As a Celtics fan, I still have a soft spot for Smart because he was such a hustle player but Jrue is head and shoulders better player. Offensively and defensively.
The Teams didn't respect his jump shot but I don't know if he knew his role properly and he was holding us back

Celtics held the high scoring Mavericks to under 100 points in all 4 victories. End of story. Champions are 4ever. Go Celtics!
Kendrick Perkins is a sad excuse for a Celtic.
To be fair, the J’s needed to prove it. They have. Now go get another one!
I’ll take JB’s IQ over Perk’s all day every day.
@DouglasLyons-yg3lv I mean its not like they haven't had the most wins in the east for the past couple seasons
Excellent vid. This needs to be seen by more people. There shouldve been more receipts.
These celtics remind me of those prime Spurs chip reams. Just beautiful, defense 1st, TEAM ball.
The national media is in shambles and i'm loving it. Everybodys looking like celtics haters and frauds.

Now?
@@TheSpartan3669 Took the "Now?" out of my mouth
What's crazy is that for all of the people who are claiming that they hate each other, you know the Celtics were going to move away from Brown. The only reason he's still with the Celitcs is because Tatum told them he wanted Brown there and he wanted to win with him. I don't think if they hated each other that anything like that would happen.

With the clip at 5:00 with Barkley, he was right when talking about that particular game that the Celtics were playing against the Pacers and it was only at half as well. There were still some times throughout the playoffs that they weren’t moving the ball as well as they could, but luckily as a Celtics fan that has not been the case this series with the Mavs

Sports journalists and weatherman. Paid lots of money for being wrong a lot.
Man I dislike this so much, really wanted Dallas and Luka. But Celtics have been the better Team. Also as much as I like Luka, he complains way too much and is learning flopping from someone 🤦♂️
Yeah he is learning from the drama queen of flopping
Someone who plays such awful defense and complains that much has a lot of work to do before they are deserving of a ring.
@@riffsthatkill2180true, but I don’t understand how people act like he’s all to blame for the losses. Yes he hasn’t been a great leader but who has stepped up on his team role player wise. No one else can shot create and their defense is terrible as well not just Luka.

Figure it out Dallas or y'all going home next game. Luka can drink all the beer he wants then.😂😂
Team basketball will beat iso heavy basketball every time
I admit that I doubted the Celtics based on Tatum and Brown's play in the 2022 finals. I thought those two would come up small in these finals. I thought wrong. I thought wrong because, not only did I not give them enough credit, I didn't give the rest of their team enough credit. The Celtics have earned my respect; Tatum and Brown have earned my respect.
LeBron faked a hate crime in 2017
And no one called him on it.
He’s been fake for a long time
The Celtics have been on the cusp of winning for awhile now, they been the best team in the league, and they added Holiday and Porzingis who both were amazing on their previous teams. I'm really shocked people are surprised by this. Boston is clearly the best team in the league far and above the rest. Mavs have been and still are the underdogs. If they get swept i'm honestly not surprised.
Mav fans luka fans kyrie fans Lebron haters all thought Mavs would win easily.😂Big surprise.Defense wins championships.😂
people heavily discounted white, zing, and jrue. that is a big 3 on most NBA teams. add tatum and brown and you get a 5 man unit that all can shoot and defend well above average. its no chance.

This shows how much analysts actually know about sports. Just because you like someone doesn’t mean they are a shoe in for a win. Boston has a cohesive team that isn’t selfish and they play well together. Dallas didn’t beat Boston in the regular season and not one analyst brought that up. Boston all the way.

Everybody's still going to be talkin Bcuz it was a breeze for them to the finals. Boston has 2 win a back 2 back to solidify themselves bruh.
They're the CHAMPIONS
I’m so happy right now ! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I knew it would happen this year I was trying to tell people it was either Celtics or nuggets can’t be no one else
This finals made me realize a lot of people either don't have a personal opinion and go with the general flow or stay silent until they can fight for a point, it is both funny and frustrating at the same time lol
Are some of these analysts even watching the same games as we are?
Divide and conquer, it’s literally one of the oldest tricks in the book and they keep using it because it works, I mean it’s the same exact game that the government uses on the people
Uncut Hoops makes sense. Good video.
K Perk saying they need to break up the Jays... Great analyst. 😅
I believe during this season. They had 1 in-season game where they put together one of if not the most efficient stretch of 4 quarters ever played in nba history. This shows that their potential as currently constructed barring injury is actually unmatched by any nba team today.
Brown for MVP of the Finals!
I was 9 when they won that game 7 16 years ago that was the first game I watched since then it’s been heart break I can’t believe this is real it feels like Ai great vid
national media hate Boston and were bored of the Celtics dominate run this year so they lacked any respect
First it was the Celtics aren’t battle tested, then no chance against the west, Mavs will win the series and it’s poetic justice for kyrie, and now the Celtics are up 3 everyone got brooms because the Celtics are so good. Yea as a fan this feels good☘️
