- Hey everyone, thank you all so much for the continued support on this series! Welcome back for season 3 part 2. In this one I talk about character development and new characters, and some of my favourite episodes that didn't get enough attention in part 1.

(Btw, I started filming season 4 and um, well, it looks like it'll be 3 parts. I don't know what happened, everything was going fine, I got the plot covered in half an hour and then... things got away from me, lol. I'll be posting some other videos first the next weeks, and then I think I'll be posting the season 4 episodes on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.)

Scared straight is a slang term that originated in the tri-state area in the late 1970s. It origated as a way of talking to youths about choosing to lead a "straight" life. Meaning a life in which you do not end up in jail or prison. It has nothing to do with a person's sexuality and isn't a homophobic term.

Doppelgangland has so many good moments, like Giles flat out agreeing with Xander that Willow is way better than him, and my favourite Angel himbo moment “Willows dead, oh hey Willow”

Wild Horses. Every time I hear it, I feel like I'm back there. This track, and Goodbye To You in Season 6 are perfect time capsules.
Yes!! Thank you! And omg Goodbye To You just breaks me as well. I find the whole show uses music so well, I was planning to devote a little time to that in my final video after I've done all the seasons.

Scared straight was a TV show where actual prisoners tried to scare troubled kids away from a life of crime. Straight has meant non-criminal for a while, I think originally gangster slang?

I loved "The Wish" and "Dopplegangland", Vampire Willow is something else lol, some of the things she did had me blushing. Willow is one of my favorites and it's so fun seeing that version of her. Also yes, I love, love, love seeing Buffy get that umbrella and have a dance with Angel at the end. It's like, finally Buffy can enjoy something for a second before she has to suffer again.
Hahaha, that's true! I love that she got to explore her bad side a little, and I LOVE that little side arc with Percy, it's so funny. The Prom was so beautiful and so heartbreaking.

Oh absolutely, my whole being. When I finished this latest re-watch I genuinely had to convince myself to not just start all over again immediately, haha

Je hebt echt helemaal geen hekel aan Xander, hè? Hahaha. Zo hard gelachen om 10:23 - 10:30. Vond Faith trouwens ook, naast Spike, Buffy en Willow, altijd een bijzonder personage. Had op een gegeven moment een beetje medelijden met 'r. Niettemin, cool chick.
Hahaha, nope, helemaal niet, ik ben de neutraliteit zelve. Ja, ik leefde ook echt mee met Faith. Echt een heel interessant en complex personage, en de reden waarom seizoen 3 zo goed is
I was telling my 14 yr old about these videos but most importantly of Xander. And how I am now programmed to think of him as “f#*!ing Xander.” 🤣🤣

What’s with all these hundreds of years old vampires and demons hitting on high schoolers? I’d feel like such a loser if I was Angel, Anya, or Spike.
Haha, this is very true. I briefly mention that in my first video when I talk about Buffy and Angel, pretty damn sketchy.

I think "scared straight" comes from "being on the straight path" or the correct/moral path. I think"straight as a term for heterosexuality if newer than the term....Also, I love your videos! I've never even seen buffy, but I'll listen to you talk about anything anytime!
There was also that show, I think on MTV, where they took punk kids and threw them in jail for a minute.
