Thank You so much! I have big hands and 'fat fingers', and it can be a real bear for me to thread some sewing machines. Sometimes, I cannot see the end of the thread clearly, because of my fingers being in the line of sight. I am thinking about trying to use either a very good quality pair of tweezers, or maybe a pair of quality forceps instead of my fingers.
Actually it is threaded with the lower thread and the manual refers to it as a 'circular needle'. Generally loopers catch the upper thread to create a chainstitch loop. This is a double chainstitch and works a little differently.
