Thanks for making this series. I see so many guys trying to sell their heavily modded ATC70's getting disparaged over the price. Unless you've built one you just won't understand. You can fit the 140cc without a frame stretch. I did it on two that I built for a guy a few years ago. I may or may not have put a couple extra degress rake in the head tube when I straightened the frame. Also replaced the accorn nuts on the valve cover with regular nuts. No rubbing at all.
Can't wait to see the next couple of videos on this, I'm currently restoring 2 x 1985 ATC 70's for my 2 boys, hopefully I will have it done in time for Xmas for them.
Yes sir!! We are doubling the field!! They'll be done cutting next weekend. The goal is to get things cleaned up and graded ASAP so we can get some seed down and hopefully get something growing before the weather changes.
Awesome video man! I’ve been saying this for a while it does not take long to tie up money into one of these! I had mine for sale for a while and people hassled me over the asking price of 1600 Imyou couldn’t even buy a decent 70 and put a motor on it for that so I opted to keep it😂
Yup... to build one and sell it for profit is a bad business model for sure. My thoughts are these are all keepers for the long haul... That's the only way I'm mentally justifying what I'm putting into them.
Heck yes brother! I love these little machines! The higher end build front and rear disc brakes and such. I have 6k into mine. 190 motor mini r fenders front loko kit. I absolutely love my 2 stroker but these are 1st big trike 2nd and z50 with a 125 is my 3rd favorite 😆 Awesome video I enjoyed it very much thank you!
Awesome!! One of these will have a rear disc foot brake. One is going to have a rear drum foot brake, and one will have just the regular brake set up. They're going to be 3 pretty different builds and I'm super stoked to see them all come together. Glad you're along for the ride!
@@t-bone1890Spanglers atc 70 has some great parts. Blue line decals for the best decals ever. There are several great atc 70 groups on fb that have some great retailers on there.
Crazy but I can see where those prices come from, 70’s here are listed for 2k+ aud plus not running 😢 let alone before you start to clean them up! Thanks for the video
Good eye brother!! You should see it here right now! They didn't finish because they blew a hydraulic line, but it looks sooooo different here right now.
In Michigan they go for big money even just a junker I've thought about building. I definitely wanted 1 as a kid I was 5 when I saw the zingers and my parents wouldn't buy me one lol 😆 I have 88 cr 125&250 my son and I are rebuilding we did yamahas last winter
whats with the kawasaki prairie eh? lol but this is gonna be cool seeing you build these. can you give me a link to where you got the front fork kits? i know loko sells them but they seem to sell out pretty fast so you cant really get them
My buddy found the Prairie on marketplace about 45 minutes from me. He's in Oklahoma... so he sent me after it and is having it shipped down to him. But that's 1 per month for the last 2 months that I've had at my place! But yeah, I'm pumped for the 70 builds and excited to do them on the channel. I'll talk more about the forks and where I got them in the next video. The guy I got them from isn't on facebook anymore so I had to reach out to his friend who gave me his cell phone number... but he's getting a store set up for them... so more to come on that.
I'm probably into the Pink Palomino about that much. Maybe a little less, but I plan on freshening that up and powder coating everything instead of using paint. We'll see!

Thanks! Yeah, it'll be fun! Good to know about the 140 motor. I do have to straighten 2 of the 3 frames... so that will be a fun video.
Looking forward to seeing them all finished up, you can’t beat ripping around on these 70’s!
Thanks brother!! That makes two of us!
Gonna be sweet pair of 70s!🍒
Thank you!!!
Looking forward to your progress. I will be using your ideas for my three 70s i picked up for $300. Keeping one stock and modding the other two.
Awesome! Sounds like you scored on those 70's!!

Thanks brother! You and me both! Definitely plenty of time to have them done before Christmas! You can do it!
Awesome projects can’t wait for more! It’s looks like you’re making more room for next year. That’s a lot of trees. Good luck with it all.

Serwa is running a great deal on tires this week, great video Preston .
You're 100% right! I wish I had thought to mention that in this video!

Just finished my 70 build. I have over 5 grand in it! Doesn’t take long when you buy billet everything!
It's looking really good brother!! Thanks for the tip on the key!
Where did you buy a lot of your parts?

Big red. Also, I can’t imagine sinking money into a custom 70.
Yeah, this type of thing is only for the true enthusiast...
That top motor mount in that 70 1:45 real sturdy
Yes sir!! I took it out and threw it on the burn pile! lol

This shop though 🤤

@ThisOldTrike I saw the snapchat, sawyer heaven... yes sawyer is a word I can't take credit for it...jeff dreams of that kinda the board footage
I don't know man, he's got a lot of trees on his property. And his trees are actually desirable!
@@ThisOldTrike so are the boulders
This is what im treating my 86 125m as. Just a bigger version of a 70 for myself as im a rather large guy... haha
Nice, man! Sounds like a great build!!

Scott Talbert sent me after that one... it was about 45 minutes away. He's having it shipped down to Oklahoma to him.
Do you have your hoodies for sale yet?
Not yet unfortunately. Hopefully soon!
@@ThisOldTrike it’s getting in to the cold season LOL. 😂

Much appreciated brother!!
Yep
Howdy sir!
Can you help me find a new seat for my 1984 125m?
All the old bikes are priced high now even it is a rust bucket
I think the market on rider quality machines has softened pretty hard over the past year... Nice collector quality stuff is still strong.
Do i dare ask what is up with the kawasaki 3 wheeler?
lol, good eye! My buddy Scott had me grab that for him yesterday. It'll be on it's way to Oklahoma next month.
Yep Yep
Howdy howdy.
