Been watching your UA-cam channels, beyond the Alchemy and this one, Spiritual Renaissance, the last few weeks. It's been transformative to listen to your videos. I've been skeptical and fatigued with other spiritual youtubers speaking in a slow soft manner and not sounding human. I'm drained from hearing psuedo spiritual non dualistic technical verbiage about nothing existing and nothing matters and it's all just this. I appreciate that you step back into the duality to explain non duality. It creates a more whole perspective. Often times with alot of other non dual youtubers, my intuition tells me something is off and I could never pin point it. Now I'm realizing that their speech is far removed from day to day common normal life and I also get a hunch it's the spiritual ego speaking instead.
I'm a week into not consuming porn, not fapping, and weight loss life style changes. Thank you for the practical down to earth average person speech and advice.

Ouch you hit so hard, like those zen masters with there sticks who keep sending there students away untill they finally got it, really even if it's a illusion it's so seductive you don't want to let it go it's indeed a life saver for ego so out of compassion teachers sometimes seems to behave so harshly , brother in those older days as much I have read, most of those realized remained very hesitant to come out, they waited for years, like really gave it a insane amount of time to mature to the fullest, or maybe they wants to be fully sure of it being genuine , as I have read and heard about various masters of zen, they keep it to themselves for years and even went to those they heard of being awakened ones , to get a recognition of there own awakening from them, and only after being full stablized they uttered any word as a teacher,they took it as a serious affair as one can easily fall into self deception which is of course fatal for themselves as well as for those who really trusted them.

All the truly dissolved/emancipated people I've met have appeared as totally normal, everyday human beings. After my 'awakening' I actually just perceived that whatever anyone else was saying and what I was saying was no different, as in, I can't say that I'm wiser or less wise than anybody else, and vice versa. Everything that appears is just the same in general - all one flavour, one sound, one image, one sensation. You get my drift...

Thanks for this video talk, I enjoyed the grounded approach and perspective and it serves as a reminder that in so many ways, we need to be mindful about the tricks our minds play, always looking to inflate their status.
Our natural interest and spiritual pursuit of a more awakened state is just as likely to fall under the spell of judgment and personal identification as anything else.
Is this 'want' coming from ‘I’ or is it another of my ego’s siren calls.
When I ‘want’ something, questioning what is doing the ‘wanting’ seems a wise approach so that at least if I continue I am not deluded to the possibility that this is all potentially Emperors' Clothes.
Very good point. I would say a good 99.99% of the spiritual community is self-delusional pretension.
Hi Again! I like your way of explaining things. Very clear... I want to ask a couple of things as also request something... my question is related to the ego traps and the use of the mind for a good purpose. The ego is in a rush to get to places, to be somebody as you mentioned in this video, while our true essence doesn’t know anything about being somebody because it’s just is. But then ... our mind our wonderful mind capable of creating wonderful things, like art, or whatever it is wonderful minds have created on this realm does give us good ideas, for example, this channel that you have created came from an idea... perhaps to shine light on the people and their awakening, what is the role of the ego and the mind on this particular pursuit would you say? The mind gives you the different subjects to talk about and the ego could be on the back door knocking and checking how many likes did I have on this video? I don’t know if what I am saying it’s clear? My request is that you use terms like sadna ? Or other words that I mostly don’t understand, would you mind saying the word in English also or at least what I means? Thank you! 💓
Hi..:) sadhana just means spiritual practice in whatever form fits one’s temperament. But to answer you-- the mind is a divine tool that The SElF has created and capable of creating very beautiful expressions (as u have said) on the canvas of the pure spacious consciousness. The whole point is for the mind and ego to be grounded in our true pure Self and then unfettered beauty can be created. The highest beauty can be created. Beauty can still be created regardless, but we are talking about the highest beauty now. Beauty without the ego knocking on the back door.
@@spiritualrenaissance thank you! If I feel a calling to use my mind and voice for a greater purpose, let’s say talk about overcoming trauma, talking about the healing of you inner child. Would you say this “desire” comes from my mind wanting to bring light to this human construct / help with the awakening or comes from the ego? I puzzle a lot with this... does this wave that I feel of helping other people comes from the ego because it wants recognition or is my true essence wanting to be express itself? Because if everything is perfect the way it is... everything is unfolding as it should... what does it matter if I do or don’t do anything ?

You can try and by doing it you will get confirmation in your heart if it is indeed the higher will for you or a lower will from the mind. Sometimes just bv starting to do something (not even fully doing it) we will get confirmation. But thats my suggestion-- start the endeavor of service and see. No matter what is revealed it will be a good thing and there will be clarity.

Is this an example of what would you would consider to be ego imitating?
it depends. Of course, this ‘awe’ sensation can be natural and authentic, but im just trying to say that its also easy for the ego mind to take an authentic sense of awe and then try to exaggerate it as a self-serving demonstration-- showing how sensitive and conscious I am-- especially if other people are around and especially if you want to make a video and try to show your “awe-ness”. . Its just some subtle introspection that I am encouraging here. thats all..:)
@@spiritualrenaissance Thank you so much. I find myself on a ride of sorts. Sometimes its clear when the ego pops up, but sometimes it is quite subtle. Like a patio door you can't tell if its open or not because its so clean. or something like that. I find myself reaching out to people like you to help me navigate. I really appreciate your willingness to answer questions like this.
