  • In this video I explore the life of Alan Watts as a creative manifestation of an intelligent consciousness. Perhaps his life, as yours, was and is perfect as it is?

Once seen that there is no Alan Watts, all questions why he drank etc evaporates. There is no one inside the body, actively choosing, doing anything ❤️

I went to Catholic grade school. When I was 9 or 10, I remember looking up into the clouds and thinking about what the nuns had told me: that if I was good I'd go to heaven where I'd be happy forever. My next thought was, "But then I'd be bored." That, I think, made me a de facto Hindu.
In 1971 at age 19, the title of an Alan Watts book, "This Is It" casually traipsed through my head three or four times while I was coming down from an acid trip. All of a sudden I saw that "I" and everything else were the same thing. Or just as easily, there never was an "I" to begin with.
At that moment, all gods, religions, philosophies were just meaningless compilations of words. Here/now is the Ultimate Reality to which there never was a creator.
So now I'm a Buddha but (haha) no one seeks my autograph. Unlike Alan Watts, alcohol hasn't killed me yet.

    Thank you
This video specially helped me a lot, since Inhad a close family member dying early because of alcohol.
    It is difficult to accept.
But it was his perfect consciousness playing that way.
Difficult to accept when you want to save or control people.
But it's non duality. He, his life were perfect the way it went. He wouldn't be the same if he wasn't like that.
Where does all the judgement come from? 🤷

Watts is a great example,...He was born on the day called Imox, and it is known for great spiritual guides,.... and alcoholism. The guy who started AA took his last drink on Imox. Howard Hughes also born on Imox. Watts handled it, due to his solar time attributes, as his decan is Lotus, the home of the 64 arts.
I've never been a fan of duality, and I often say, if every action has an equal and opposite reaction, we would achieve stagnation and stillness. This is not happening and the universe is expanding. I also say the Yin and Yang symbol is not 2 energies but 5. When encountering "things beyond", it is often handy to have some drinks nearby. Sometimes, not often but sometimes, even stronger stuff to get through the haze.
Numbing the ego mind opens it for receptive conditions. Thus alcohol is called spirits.

Oh, I know I'm perfect, and I"ve even convinced my husband (it took some training, though) but... So many people disagree with that fact!! And so why is that? 🤔

If everything is so perfect as it is, why be bothered with the 'self' or 'no self' dilemma? Unless bothering is part of the dance, naturally :)

I understand to a point what your implying, but I come up with too many counter arguments to accept this.

The left brain can create 1000 reasons to stay in the abstract world it created.

Since god is everything. Infinity. That means all possible versions of Alan Watts will be manifested. How come this version is perfect? Will god claim all the pther versions are also perfect? If everything is perfect then that's just bullshit tbh.

If there is a "many worlds" version, then all versions are "perfect" in their own way, and yes, to the thinking mind.....this totally sounds like BS!

There's no "god" beyond the Self. "Perfect" is just word-play in this Maya. It's in the Eye of the Beholder and cannot exist without its opposite, "imperfect." Once that is realized, that would be "perfection."
