Imagine this actually happening in like 1700s. People minds would have exploded. Or they would have been accused of witch craft

    I don't think I've ever seen 2Cellos do anything that WASN'T amazing.

Fun Fact: Elton John, himself, found out about these guys, and they've been a part of his tour.

These two guys just finally managed to prove what dozens of concert artists and classical musicians like me have been dying to say for years! That there is nothing closer than classical music (baroque in particular) and rock music! \o/

Classmate: "Dude, Cello? Come on, man. You'll never be cool playing that."

Beethoven was something of a musical rebel at the time he was alive.

So who wants to tell him about apocalyptica? And that corey Taylor is in one of their songs?

A lesser man would say they have been... thunderstruck by their performance.

Angus Young does that move at concerts. Lays down and spins himself in a circle whilst never missing a not on his guitar. I was impressed to see the cello player imitate the move. Very well done.

BTW, the broken bow "'strings" are horsehair from the tails of the horses. What they're doing is incredibly rough on their bows, no surprise there... They probably have to get them redone an awful lot.

When they perform live, they bring about 20 bows on stage! Absolutely amazing performers, I've had 2 opportunities to watch them live!

The thing is, you know perfectly well there were people back then playing like this. There's always been people pushing the boundaries of their art.

I saw 2Cellos live a couple of years ago. They were AMAZING!

They are amazing. I’ve seen them live and it’s crazy how they make 2 instruments sound like so much more.

I've been a fan of 2Cellos ever since they were only doing street performances around Europe. They are unbelievably talented, and have taught several generations of music lovers that classical music is fantastic!

I'd honestly love to see some classical musicians (like actually from that era) react to this kind of stuff

the only problem i have with these guys is that some of the songs don't translate well over to string instruments, but it's no fault of theirs because they still kill it. this is one of the coolest music videos I've seen in a long time.

2 Cellos are awesome. So many great performances. Suggestion: Their cover of U2's With You Or Without You

  • Adam Brooks

Honestly, in my opinion, one of the best 2 Cellos songs to react to is their cover of Iron Maiden's 'The Trooper'.... absolute classic song covered by string instruments, what more do you need.......

These guys are amazing. I was waiting at the end for the kid in the audience to stand up and yell hell yeah or something at the end. Still blown away at this performance, after seeing it the first time several years ago. Brilliant!
