- Tommy Searle is a true legend of the game. He's the third most winning rider in UK MXGP history and has finished second in the World Championship twice, won multiple British Championships and did a stint in the US for factory KTM. We both moved to the US around the same time but haven't had a chance to catch up in person since, so this was a really great chat! Tommy is deep in the UA-cam game now with mates Billy Bolt and Ed Warren and his UA-cam Channel and Podcast are well worth a sub!

Everybody has an internal clock that controls our ability to process what's coming at us. At the very elite level of any sport this clock is usually what determines who wins.
At some point, everybody has a period of time when they were "in the zone." It's like the entire world is moving in slow motion compared to you. We just don't know how to
consciously control it, yet.

I've always believed that some people have this inherent ability to understand the laws of physics wether they are aware of it or not. ..you either have it or you don't. Being able to manipulate physics is the biggest factor to being a super fast rider or driver.
You can't train someone to be an alien .
Thats what lazy people think to make themselves feel better about their failures.
