as a pike angler myself bruce i totaly understand the edit!...congrats on ya new pb ..its always a special moment in any pikers life on the bank...thanks for sharing it! tight lines....
Absolutely made up for you mate 👍 that horrible feeling when you are trying to net them coming in tail first is a heart attack and you can get away with it with a Jack but not a monster Croc like that...she deserved to be a 30! As soon as you said 31½ with the sling i knew it was 29½ as i have the same bloody sling! An amazing fish and PB 👏🎣
@@amomentintimechannel1315 100% and i only go Piking with my best friend so we can share the highs & lows together, and especially when a gillie is need for those bigger girls. Best of luck
Thank you Ian, great believer in RPRT, doesn't matter how much skill is involved or not as the case may be, you can't catch them if they're not there 😉 Tight lines mate 👍
Congratulations Bruce . What a beauty. I've fished a lot of Scottish lochs for pike back in the 90's but have been out of the game for over ten years . This is inspirational. Tight lines
Wow. A huge congratulations and I think you gave us more than enough video and I can only hope anyone that watches this doesn’t even attempt to work out where that is. A big girl like that is a rare fish and she deserves a little bit of piece and quite. Thanks for sharing the memories
Well done indeed, bruce it was a decent jack that probably the biggest one i have seen.... I like the heavy editing will have to explore that....once again wow 👌
What a cracking fish Bruce! I had that orrible feeling it was gonna make a break for it when you couldn’t get it in the net! Super video of it swimming away again. Well done that man! 👍
Hi Bruce I'm from Inverness Scotland, and a pike angler eye really injoy watching your videos mate,a massive congratulations on your pb Bruce a fish of a life time, well deserved mate, effort equals reward 🐊💯🎣♥️
Cracking fish well done, shows perseverance on the big lochs can pay off, what bait would you say brings the most success for you? Im also from your neck of woods and live in Glasgow, I fish Lomond mainly and lochs around that area. Cheers
Thank you Scott, appreciated. Most productive bait is probably Lamprey, closely followed by Sardines. That said my new favourite bait is a Brown Trout.......guess why ?? 😂😂
@@amomentintimechannel1315 nice one cheers. I'd guess because youve had that fish on it and the loch is full of trout, so a natural bait for the pike up there. 😄
Thank you John, very kind. You're not the first to ask about my jacket which is without doubt my best ever purchase when it comes to the fishing, I've had it for over 15 years and it has never once let me down. It is an Army surplus jacket, DPM camo, MOD version of Goretex, highly recommended. I think I paid £20 for it and you can pick them up nowadays for around £50. Great value 👍👍

Realy nice video, can you tel me what kind of landing net you are use, it looks great to me when the mesh is ruber:)
Thank you, very kind. The net is the Greys Prowla Safe System Boat net in the largest size. Hope this helps 👍
Great video, different question, what jacket are you wearing? Thanks

Why you hiding location?
To protect the fish and the fishing for the local anglers mate 👍
@@amomentintimechannel1315 I understand now I take it these lochs are members only then?
@@Dp3.16 no not necessarily, some are some aren't but in Scotland you have to have written permission to fish from the owner of the fishing rights.
He's caught small fish,in terrible conditions, for so long.......he deserved that.well done.if you lost that at the net...even I'd have wept!!!!!
How kind, thank you, it wouldn't have been good viewing if I had lost it at the net I can assure you 😂
