@@windws7137 well I got a pixie haircut, it helped a lot to change my looks since my long hair was too big and heavy. Also it forced me to take better care of how my face looked, so I started a basic skincare routine and some facial yoga. I started drinking more water. one thing that helps: DO BETTER. eat healthy. drink water. take vitamins. work out for health. go out. take a walk. sunbath. start fixing things internally and you will feel better and you will gain confidence from the inside. when you feel satisfied with yourself, it will be easier to be confident and go out, make new friends.

i think alot of us the problem isn't lack of confidence it's lack of humility. same difference but we have to just be aware of the duality. if we're too confident in one situation or dynamic, it leaves room for us to lack confidence in another and vice versa, of course. balance is the key. ⚖️

its crazy how when youre insecure you will believe in our own limitations so much you cant see past them and you assume you're right about what you can do and be
I bumped into a teacher I had at school and I told her where I am now thinking she will be surprised how far I've come and what I ended up doing
    she wasn't she actually wasn't
when people around you tell you what your limits are what u can and cant do just remember u have no clue how many people in your life you have met that actually believed in you
there's no way you can know everyones thoughts on your ability
use that too your advantage and understand that sometimes the people closest to you ( including yourself ) have the least idea of where you are going to end up and the amazing person your going to become
also remember how many positive thoughts you've had about other people and their potential. I doubt youve told most of them
my teacher knew and understood my ability more than I did. always do the inner work and try and analyse what you want and worry about how afterwards

i feel like you shouldn’t have to change yourself (like who you naturally are example; an introvert, i am one) you shouldn’t have to pretend to be extroverted if it’s not who you are. i think you can achieve confidence without conforming to societies standards. but that’s just me my self confidence/self love journey will not be faking my personality. being authentic to who you really are i think is better because it’s not exhausting it’s natural and effortless.

I was sick of the way I lived but I was also scared of failing or getting rejected when going to meet new people so I applied for a job that FORCED me to meet up with people every single day (worked in customer service) and I forced myself to talk to everybody at first it was so nerve racking and I hated it but after a while of doing it I became much more confident in my social skills and realized that I never actually had a problem in socializing I just gaslit myself into believing I did.

Thank you so much for sharing these tips... It makes me feel so seen.....some of the points you made really caught me off guard like deriving my sense of confidence and self worth from external factors and hence never feeling enough... Made me realise the amount of self work need to be done... And kudos to you for transforming so much in a relatively short span of time👍

I’ve been watching you more recently and when I tell you I have been growing more and more confident!! At first I would always have to make myself look small tried to make my posture more better and tried to hide my double chin but my confidence is literally kicking in making me jump out of my comfort zone wearing more clothes I was so scared to wear in school, and I even got a haircut to match my face and omg when I tell you I have felt so amazing and happy with our thinking “omg what if I look gross in that photo” but now it’s always “I’m sure I look good I always look good” and never care when I throw a shirt on that shows my stretch marks, or makes me look fat because I just pull things off no matter what! And when people look at me and judge me in public for wearing a shirt are just insecure there self when they gain the confidence I did they will be “damn why would I hate that girl?” But then again when she gets that confidence she would’ve probably forgot I would forget to that’s what I mean to that someone opinion really doesn’t matter at the end of the day because neither of you will remember the next day! I just want to say thank you I have built my confidence and have never felt this amazing! Thank you!

I like how you said that real self love is loving yourself even when you’re not at your best like when you’re not going to the gym everyday. I struggle with that a lot. And I automatically thought that’s exactly how God loves us, he loves us when we’re at our best and he love us when we make mistakes. I am a Christian and I find your perspective aligns with a lot of biblical principles, and the way you live your life you can see the hand of God is on you and he keeps blessing you because you unknowingly understand some biblical principles. May God bless you!!

The being grateful for how far ive come, kicked me a few weeks ago. I had over 10k € debts, now i am down to 4K. I was talking about it with a person, and when i said i had yet to pay 4k-his response was-oh my god so much to pay,(the person that pushed me to be depressed for years, and i went crazy with buying things), i told him, what are you judging me, at least i am paying it back and am down to 4 from 10. thats a huge progress and im proud of me for coming this far.-his response is one of a 1000 reason's that i didnt feel safe as a woman with him.
