that is not the correct way to wire a safety relay. the channel 1/channel2 inputs are supposed to monitor the estop state, and optionally for a short circuit. the green button is supposed to reset the relay after a channel is interrupted. the only time you should remove power from the A1/A2 is when there is a discrepancy fault on a dual channel setup and the relay needs to be reset by a power cycle.
I agree. Power cut off of the safety relay should not be applied by the emergency switch. There are dedicated terminals for connecting of the emergency switch or other safety devices (light curtains, door switches e.t.c.)....
I do not agree. It's the only way to connect this emergency button to the safety relay. It's also written in the manual of the safety relay. It's also allowed to use a single channel emergency stop button and safety relay. You can reach performance level C with this diagram. It's even allowed when you not connect the feedback contact of the main contactor. But then you have to use well proven components. It's all written in the guideline ISO 13849-1 and ISO 13849-2 (performance level in the machinery, in Europe)
@@ivanbratanov8699 , then tell me the right emergency button connections of this relay. Please, just read the manual and connect the safety relay the way it's written in the manual. Then you will be figgering out that the video explanation is correct.
@@joostraemakers1967 it is definitely not the "only way" to wire it and i would like you to show me this diagram that has the estop button wired to the a1 power supply as a safety monitor. sure it will disconnect power to the outputs but no different than just running the outputs through the estop button. there isnt even any single channel monitoring in the example, no point in even having a safety relay.

How u reset the safety relay ….it’s uncompleted circuit which is not acceptable in industry….
You can reset the relay when you push the green push button. Only the green colour is not correct. You have to use a blue colour, in Europe.
The safety relay is reset via the Y1 and Y2 terminals. If you connect a single wire across the terminals the safety relay will reset automatically. For manual resets just install a reset button in between that wire so it requires you to press the button to reset the relay.
