Great effort Amy. One thing I noticed here, is that when you have a chance to hit an attacking shot up the line, you had many opportunities to advance to the net but didnt, and ended up losing a few of those points. This is one of those matches where a few points make a difference. I really think you need to actively practice aggressive patterns, to get you to drag yourself to the net and finish points. Its a numbers game, and if you can win key points, this can make the difference.
Amazing bounce back from the last tournament to make it to the finals! Your serve and that short cross court angle shot winner were unstoppable, and some really crazy rallies that you did a great job of finishing. Feels like your mental game is getting stronger each tournament - good adjustments throughout the tourney, the flip flop three setter semi's win and the finals to push her to the limit in the second set. Way to hang with someone in the 300's - you were there with her shot for shot, and you looked like you belonged. Really great stepping stone result - keep pushing for those finals experiences and building that focus/confidence, and you're gonna take one of these soon enough!
Also, it looked like you got to the net a lot more this tournament than others, and you finished a lot of points at the net. Your net game is pretty strong! Was that a change in strategy?
Keep up! You did a great JOB. You could have won. You seem have much solid stroke and just crucial point did not work the way you wanted. Love your channel and cannot wait to see what comes up next!
Great camera positioning. Felt like i was watching a official broadcast especially quarter final on. Congratulations on Great Results. Keep at it. All the best 💪🏻
Great run Amy! You're knocking on the door just gotta push your way through. Love your forehand by the way, very compact but potent. And as always, love the content. Side note, I love Ly's backhand. I'm a sucker for a one handed backhand.
I think you did exceptionally well throughout the tournament! You definitely played to your strengths and positive results ❤🎉 keep it up Amy, we right there with ya!! 😊
I love your videos. You remind me so much of my niece who had to give up tennis due to lack of funding. She is from Madagascar so travel and getting recognized is very tough. Anyway, you are an inspiration. But can I ask a favor. Please please identify yourself before each match. I have to work to figure out which player is you.
Hate to see a hitter lose to a pusher...love your strokes but you are serving up the pace for your opponent to doink back. Need a little net, offpace, dropshot game for some free easy points....since your serve is so good too.
great match. how come female tennis UA-camrs never do videos about their racquet, or strings or do a what's in my bag video? good luck on your journey.

Yea I’ve been trying to work on my transition and net game a bit more and not just trying to bash from the baseline. Thanks for noticing! Haha
Congrats!! Great camera angle. Enjoyed watching the rallies.
Awesome! Thank you!

She has a great one handed! Thanks!!
Great job getting to the finals! That semifinal match showed just how strong your mental game is now.
Been working on that side a lot. Glad it’s showing 😁
Great run! Amy. Congrats on your second finals! I kept telling your Xiaoyi fu to get you a coffee. He never did😤
So many great hits. Y'all are amazing regardless. 👏
Thanks so much!!
Love the way you hit and move around the court. Great finesse and grace with power. 💪💪
Thank you so much!! 💪🏼

Great fighting Amy. You should be proud of yourself.
Thank you so much!!
Some insanely well played tennis Amy, unlucky with the final result either of you could have taken it. On to the next!
Thanks for the support! 💪🏼
You have a solid game, can’t imagine if you had a coach how much better you would be. Keep it up.
Loving the new smooth intros!
Thanks! Hahaha
Wow, you can really tell the level of fitness between the earlier rounds' ladies and Yamalapalli's. Good work Amy!
Yea she’s def top 300 for a reason!! Something to learn from
the level is so high at ITF. Impressed with your game and shots. Keep it going!
Thank you!
Little less pace and a bit more spin is a good tactic against many opponents. Cause some people feed off the pace.
I'm here from the changeover podcast!! : )
Oh welcome welcome!!
I like the intro at the L.A. observatory. That's the spot where Schwarzenegger entered L.A. as the Terminator, seriously 🙂
“I’ll be baaack” 😂
@@AmyZhu200 Haha!
Holy moly Amy! @7:10 you look like John Isner next to her
😂😂😂
Well played! Keep on grinding!
Thanks!!🙏🏼
Great job getting to the finals. Pretty tight finals too.

Love your competitiveness, you did well.
I appreciate that thanks!
Great job amy! Makes me want to play an exhibition against you!!! I play in the U16 Boys ITF juniors. Trying to get some points just like you
Haha you got it! Believe in yourself!!
@@AmyZhu200 Thank You!!
Do you happen to have dm's open on insta or something like that? Once I get some points I'll make sure to let you know! 😃
So happy to see so many positive comments from so many nice people!
Felt the final can go either way.
🐐 🐐

Wow thank you so much for the message. Yea tennis is not an easy sport especially with no funding. Yea I’ll try to do better with that next video!
Hi Amy from Wash DC. Love your content
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Wta for sure
👀

👍
Those chances to take the second set was not good but you did your best, keep striving your goal gurl
Yea not the best but thank you!
@ no probs, kick ass in the next one 💪🏽💪🏽
The point at 11:06 was insane
Not ashamed to hit a couple moon balls if I have to 🤣🤣
Great content. I buy you coffee too if you let me know your secrets how to hit ball like you. 😂
Sounds like a deal 😂
you seem a lot more assertive on hard court... but it could also just be the different altitude hmm.
That perspective when the vietnamese lady goes to the net to shake hands! Shes so cute! Amazing how she handled those high balls
Yea you’d think that would be any shorter persons weakness but she’s really good at it!
Great playing. Keep it up! Hope you get some time to hang out in LA.
Thank you so much!!
road to wta ranked 2000
You should have taken her to a third set
I tried 😔
Well, I think she beat you physically. The girl runs a lot.
Yea she definitely does and it’s tough to get her off balanced
great match.

good luck on your journey.
Maybe I’ll be one of the first 🤔 haha that’s a great idea!
Amy: are you in college? Or you graduated?
I played for the University of Michigan
你需要强化力量训练,加重你的球拍。然后你会进入一个全新的境界。祝你好运😉
正在努力💪🏼
Hi Amy, would you play me just one set? Please. I am in oc California
Unfortunately I’m based in Florida but maybe if I’m ever out that way!
Almost = didn't
Thanks for watching!
Nice playing you can't be too disappointed in that. Playing pretty much dead even with someone inside top 300 in the final. Good job
Thank you so much!
@ keep up the good work.
