Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to like/comment and check out my UA-cam Sponsors Exposed Playlist here: ua-cam.com/play/PLLQNCzo4XdiUn5Kc4QbrP8q9W6qK1B0f6.html
What should we expose next?!
Already did, catch up on the playlist.
I must remember to NOT eat or drink during these streams, you ALWAYS make me laugh and nearly choke 😂😂
Made one of these last night for the first time because we have covid and a friend dropped one of these off. Still not sold, but it’s funny that you did this at the same time 😂
You should do a video for the Tovala oven. Its now the ad that I see the most on UA-cam.
I know Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account?
I was dumb lost my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
"I'm nervous..."
"You're not INVITED."
I am noticing that alot of the UA-cam Spomser are good products, but way overpriced.
it is a theme
They probably have to recoup the sheer amount of money they pour into creators...
“Hello Fresh”? Hello 👋 rip-off. Why do people think they need a “kit” to cook BASIC FOOD? You go to the shop, but some simple essentials and COOK.
Who thought they were “a genius” by making the SIMPLE art of cooking, so convoluted that people order a “kit” all wrapped up in ice packs etc - please - get a life. We know how to cook, have done for decades, and your “subscription” nonsense is just another way to pander to lazy people.
you are noticing nothing my friend, and hello fresh meat mostly allways taste like cardboard, tried it for a few months, it's awfull and 3X more expensive then going to the supermarket
“Oh, I zested my finger”
Most underrated sentence of 2021
Or you can just go on their website and take the recipes and buy the groceries and make them yourself 🤣
I was watching a youtuber, his vegetables form "Hello Fresh" came rotten🤢
Mrs Skeem: I'm nervous.
We Skeem: You're not invited.
Me: Why is We Skeem always so snarky to Mrs Skeem? Mrs Skeem, you're invited to the Purdom house for some Texas Goulash! And bring Wee, She, and Flea! But leave We at home with the zester. 🤣
#simpformrsskeem
If I’m ordering food online at a big markup I don’t want to have to cook it myself. But I can see something like that for people who want to learn to cook and don’t know what ingredients they should be buying.
But can't they just look up a list of ingredients?
@@ur.kr.2814 I think this is mainly marketed at people who get overwhelmed by choice. Especially at amateur cooks who don't really know how to judge a pre written recipe or how to do ingredient selection themselves.
I actually started using Hello Fresh last year when the lockdowns started as a way to just not deal with the craziness of grocery stores and lack of in store stock in the Chicagoland area. I do like it for it's convenience and ease. Great exposed video as usual!
Now we let it simmer till the blue apron edition ~
So glad you clarified “besides my genitalia”....
Next expose UA-cam rappers who are great with awful names like Postcard, Books, etc. I enjoy shopping for my food and love to cook so this would not be for me.
Love the idea for the series, execution was dope too. Only suggestion would be to break the seal to the bag and show whats contained on camera especially in the event of a bad review you can avoid "he tampered with the products" nonsense. Dope stuff tho
I would love to try it if I could get the same deal Mrs Skeem got, but I'd have to cancel as soon as the discount ended 😂
The discount is really good the first week and not so great for the next 3 weeks. We’ll be cancelling after that and maybe trying one of the other meal services. Just nice while I’m finishing up this pregnancy.
did the baby come out?
Still want to see you cover a VPN. Nord or Express are the biggest I hear, though SurfShark tends to pop up. I forget if you have done Honey.
I am from Canada, and I tried Hello fresh before. It was a bit too expensive, but we tried chef’s plate, which is the same thing, but for us it was a bit cheaper. I think you also get more choice over the recipes, but I forget how hello fresh does it.
Holy shit I think I have the same forks as you. I got mine at Target lol
This one has definitely got me interested! Can't wait to hear what the Skeem fam thinks of it!
It is interesting to see that in these exposed videos, Skeem seems to be more animated in his hand movements. Perhaps because he fears that it'd be boring, otherwise. Or he is just like this, naturally... But all in all I enjoyed the little banter between the missus and the skeemster...
This was really good, I’ve been wanting to try them, your review helps me decide.
The bare hands threw me lol
and I choked on my lunch at the video’s end 😂😂😂.
I'm old school rebel that does the whole cook book grocery store thing. Mind you I frigging hate the grocery store but its a necessary evil.
If you can pay 3x as much as eating out, but be able to make 5 meals a day, then its worth it
Let's what the tornado of chaos cooked up
I was immediately thrown off when I saw your hands as soon as the video started.
We did Hello Fresh for months during quarantine. I'm not the cook in the family, but even I could do it. Also gives you healthy meals that taste good, and you try new things (who knew that roasted Brussel sprouts were actually good!?). It is expensive though, but you're also paying for the convenience of delivery and pre-measured recipes. If you can afford it though, it's great.
Thank you Mrs. Skeem for supervising Skeem
I am once again only here for our lord and savior flea skeem. God spelled backwards and all that. Lol
Loving that shirt my dude
Fuck Hello fresh, buy your own groceries or support small business and have them do the cooking!💯
Do a video exposing how silly it is that Gatsb7 thinks a 7 looks like a y
First time I tried hello fresh it took me over an hour to finish cooking 😂
I've generally had good results from them, but yeah it is definitely a luxury. It seems to be geared more towards urban living areas vs. sub-urban or rural.
My favorite recipe from them so far is the Tuscan Herb Chicken w/ Creamy Linguini pasta.
My sister got me a free trail of this and the recipes were great....still use some of the cards today
So in LA or NYC, Hello Fresh is probably somewhat worth it for the $35 per meal for 4, but otherwise, in areas with lower living expenses, you can get a panda express family meal for 4-6 people for the same exact price, and you don't even gotta cook it, and you get a lot more protein for your dollar worth.
If you can't beat the eating out prices, you probably should just make the recipes yourself.
Hello Fresh also has a nasty habit of roasting every vegetable instead of doing anything more interesting with it, while still requiring a lot of prep. An easier alternative is the pre-sliced meals that many grocery stores are now carrying in the produce area, and then buying whichever protein you want/ is cheapest, and making a much larger meal + leftovers for the next day's lunch or as a side.
My parents did HelloFresh for a long time, as they like the recipes, but once you have the recipe, you can shop for the ingredients yourself most of the time to make the same meal (which I do for the steak, peppers and sweet potato meal with lime zested butter as it works rather well). At least HelloFresh is better than going to McDonalds or a similar fast food chain.
I love this series so much
Nothing from Hellofresh is actually fresh lol. I work in autobag which basically packages most of the produce you receive. Most of the stuff is weeks old. QC(quality control) will make you pick out all the moldy produce out of a bag and package the produce which was just covered in mold that we had to clean off its terrible.
A year ago, someone posted on Facebook that their ground beef from HelloFresh has maggots in it. I was about to try it out, but I changed my mind. Thanks to whoever exposed HelloFresh saved my life and money.
I think the Nostalgia Critic is contractually obligated to do one of his weird commercials in your house if you say it sucks.
DAD SHIRT.
Edit: *Skeem sneezes* Mrs. Skeem "WaSh YoUr HaNdS!"
Skeem actually was touching chicken when I said that
@@MrsSkeem wtf, that is gross.
Wearing his bear shirt. I approve
I thought “I don’t think I have a zester” was a joke until he actually brought it out. Literally never heard of that shit before in my life
What if you just uber eats the ingredients too you from a grocery store is that cheaper or more expensive?
Maybe once in awhile. Was nice to make something I've never tried before. And it was pretty tasty.
Wow 70k subscribers and we got a blood reveal with sultry hand action
Let's see how this goes.....
HEY HEY HEY! I see skin! Where are the gloves?!
We're at second base now.
This video couldn't have come at a better time. I'm currently looking for a meal prep service to eat cleaner.
Hello freshes motto or company slogan should say “you WILL like sour cream bitch!” It comes in I swear 8/10 of all the recipes
Sour cream is in tonight’s recipe!
Organized chaos is the best way to cook, it's how you learn more recipes and flavors.
My husband can't use a grater without also grating his thumb either. :D
Our chicken looks fake. It looks printed. I know sounds weird
I legit got a Hello Fresh ad on this vid, I'm so done with this platform
I always really liked the idea behind these services, but I just can't bring myself to spend the extra when I know I can just go shopping..lol, you do raise some good points though. I know I spent more than this when I ordered Beast Burger for the house, so for situations like that this might be a nice alternative.
How does the sponsorship work?
Kinda what I thought when I got it it was good but it wasn't really a thing I would pay for as it basically just eating out with extra steps
Having worked @ Hello Fresh - I can confirm this
Ooooh I loved this review such an exciting channel never know what you will be watching ..always excited to click ...thanku so much love and god bless x
Awesome video! I was wondering if you ever kept up with the Tiege Hanley I sent a while ago and was wondering if you were going to be doing a UA-cam exposed vid. It's not really a sponsorship but the guy who owns the company has a UA-cam channel called alpham that's all about men's lifestyle stuff. Either way, I can't wait for more of these videos
Yep. Still using it. Being skincare I want a thorough feel of it over an extended period of time.
@@WeSkeem Awesome!
I don’t know if I would use hello fresh, but have been interested in trying a couple different of these meal kit programs. Thanks for another sponsor.... “review” Skeem!
I've been thinking of doing a Hello Fresh exposure vid. Buying a box, then listing everything in it and heading to Lidl, seeing how much it would cost to get everything in the box. Then comparing the prices. After this, saying it costs about as much to eat out, I'm pretty confident Lidl will be significantly cheaper.
The youtubers sponsored by it always say, "I don't know how I lived without it." I don't mind a trip to the local supermarket, especially if it will save a lot of money. Like I'd be fair, I expect it to cost more to buy from Hello Fresh, I expect the convenience to come at a cost. If its a reasonable bit more, yeah I'll call it worth it, If my Lidl shopping costs a fraction of what the Hello fresh box costs, yeah, it's not worth it.
why did i get a hello-fresh ad before this video..
I found it funny that people can't buy their own sh!t.
Yeah my family has been getting two recipes every week and they are really good every recipe is really good yeah in store you could def do it all on your own but if you can afford it it’s really good
There was an ad for hello fresh on this video-
Yeah $20 per meal.. def not worth it
This should be a good one
Post for the UA-cam Algo God.
Why get HelloFresh when you can just go to the store to get ingredients or have your own farm.
I love how your significant other is in the background babysitting you! I get it, my lady would be right there with me even with the damn instructions.
Damn, shut us down with the no genital exposure lol, keep it up my man.
You burnt the chicken. You can’t make rice and you burnt the green beans lol.
👍Thanks, you curved my curiosity.
Yo I clicked this thinking it a SOG video about EDP lmao
I don't know any of those acronyms
WUT
I'm still expecting autoblow + manscaped comments even with the no exposing genitalia comment
Algorithms.
Thanks skeem for another skeem UA-cam sponsor exposed review.
I think the funniest thing you said is you'd have to eat leftovers. There's not enough food for leftovers if you're a family of 4.
And yes, at $100 for 3 meals, it's pricey. But it is pretty good. We tried for a couple weeks and got several things that we thought were really delicious and maybe only 1 that we thought was mediocre.
We made a pasta dish on Monday that for sure feeds 4 plus leftovers. Depends on the meal it seems.
We're not a family of four at this point. Hence leftovers.
@@WeSkeem even if we were, that meal the other night would still have leftovers.
Not with teenagers
This guy sounds like Austin from Shoddycast
I now expect a collab video of the Skeems with You Suck At Cooking. It’s the real reason Al Gore connected a series of tubes, to invent the internet!
Hand reveal LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOO
Only downside to Hello Fresh imo is the prices vs what you get. Food is OK and the recipes are actually good. Only downside is the price. So I did the big brain move. Got their recipes and did the rest the old fashioned way at the grocery store.
We.Skeem hand reveal video , lol.
Looks yummy I would love to try it but my wife and kids are waaaaaayyyyy too picky to use hello fresh unfortunately 😪
I’m super picky but I was able to pick meals that would work for Wee and I
Enjoyed the video, I guess some people would like it for the convenience of not having to go to the store. As for me I rather go to the store and buy the ingredients myself.
I don’t mind buying the ingredients, I just never know WHAT to make. I’m indecisive.
@@MrsSkeem I am the same way
The Battlecats is a good one... a lot of people seem to like it... it is a f2p game however, so is it worth it?
I like to call it Hello trash. The produce is nasty yuck!!!
Wtf is hello fresh lol
1:25 hahahhahahahahhahahahah expose spon. AND funny af??? Best believe I’m bout to binge all your content after this 😌 if it isn’t clickbait lolol we shall seee
Okay I see. It’s a series. Where you give an honest review. With all the BS spon. out there.. and fake “love” for the product, I can absolutely appreciate the shit out this tbh ♥️ will still binge your other content til I see something I don’t like lmaooo. And also checked for affiliate links and found none 🥰 had I, I’d be gone before I even commented at all lolol. Sucks this is how low the standard bar is set.. but that’s a win my friend 🥰🥰🥰
Feel like subscribing to him
...probably worth it if youre really lazy and just want to try some stuff. I am lazy, and indecisive and that is a hard pass. Why?
A) it is only three meals a week.
B) it costs as much as going out.
When I had dough enough, I would eat out a lot and tip very well. Going off the points, I would rather do my eating out. And a little over the cost of three times gets me multiple weeks of frozen meals, a week of drinks or more, and 2 weeks of ramen. Now, if it was 6 a week, I might consider.
please do express vpn
YIKES! 😮 Your lemon zesting skills are abhorrent. BUT it's good to see honest reviews on UA-cam.
Your hands are white
Right I'm shook
Hello fresh ,always was and always will be a rip off especially if your a vegetarian 🌱
Hannnnds
Ikr yj?!? He's getting prepped for bigger reveals! 70k today- 100k is right around the corner!
Hey, you do have skin. I thought your hands would look like V’s.
👍
I love you and this channel. But as a chef this made me cringe and want to cry watching you zest, and put raw chicken next to the cilantro
Get over it
Not worth it
I had HelloFresh for a few months back in 2020, and I gotta say I loved it. I originally signed up with a discount from a podcast show I listen to that had them as a sponsor. *Protip: They sponsor a ton of things, ALWAYS look for that "$40 off your first 4 boxes" deal or whatever.* The initial discount really sold me on it (because otherwise the cost would have been difficult for me to justify- like Skeem said it'd basically replace your eating out budget, but since I was a single grad student, I was at least getting 4 meals per box, not bad). They do this clever marketing thing where they split the discount over your boxes to be a ton off the first box (like 40% if I remember right?), and by the last one it's down to 10% to get you invested and really ask yourself if it's worth it to keep it.
Anywho, I planned to only keep it up to the point where the new subscriber discount ran out, but then the pandemic happened. And let me tell you guys. I was sooo happy I had this during those first few weeks/months where everyone was scrambling around, trying to figure out how to keep grocery chain shelves stocked and hoarding toilet paper like little gollums. HelloFresh kept delivering and found ways to ensure that all the ingredients stayed in stock too. I think the biggest replacement I ever noticed was maybe the type of fish I was supposed to get for a dish and a lime instead of a lemon, etc.
Their customer service is also incredible. The one time *(during the height of the pandemic)* that I didn't receive a box on the right delivery date, I called them and they told me it was delayed by 12 hours. I was like "Alright, no worri-" but the dude was so profusely apologetic he offered to apply an additional discount to my account on the spot! "Hey man, don't worry it's cool! We're in the middle of a pande- did you say $15?" 😂 I know there's a buttload of different companies that provide this exact same service, so if for nothing else I'd highly recommend HelloFresh because I genuinely enjoyed being a customer of theirs so much. Can't remember the last time I subscribed to a product or service that actually cared about my experience in the end. *[Protip #2: Manscaped* _does not have_ *a customer service line. Don't look for it, you won't find it. Have fun convincing someone through email that you want to cancel your expensive, unnecessary "refill blades".]*
Lastly, I have to say. Having HelloFresh was actually really fun. I'd never cooked more often than when I had it, and that's the entire reason I bought it for. I finally learned how to cook a decent fish, improved my diet, developed a much richer spice palette and finally learned how to properly season food. I also tried out Blue Apron at one point when someone else I follow offered another discount sign-up, and I think HelloFresh's weekly recipe line-ups offer a ton more variety. I honestly haven't found much of any downside to using their service (other than it gets a little expensive later on, but you can easily skip weeks). I'm basically just waiting to become more financially stable again like I was pre-covid so that I can justify the subscription cost again 😌
