The reason that buzzing thing happened and that the nut came off is because when it was torqued on the belt was in between keeping the outer side of the variator or the big starter gear thing from seating properly, now because the big outer variator gear thing is toques up against the belt and is not seated and centered properly, when you start driving, pressure is put on it which eventually makes it want to move out of position because the belt is rubbing against it to pull our weight, and then it either loosens too much and the starts making fun noises or even better flies off and wreaks havoc on your cvt, to solve this install the belt after the actual variator and also press the big rear clutch spring down so that belt sits inside which gives slack when you install the outer variator thing, hope this helped

That's good to know, I think I might've done the same thing, well at first I took it to a moped shop, and changed clutchs at 4k miles. Then started making rattling noise like if my 6 gram rollers are shaking. I was thinking it was the spring on the clutch and that I got a faulty clutch or that like he mentions on the video that maybe there's a break in period. Lol I bought this performance set, I got a 80-100cc BBK from the previous owner I got it from but havent installed, I also ordered a new carb and spark plug since from 15-30 is having issues getting power and now won't go past 30 mph and struggles up hills. Inspected fuel lines and all and it seems to have compression, upon checking old carb, doesn't even have a valve screw lol it's just solid brass. Long story short I ordered a performance 50cc performance carb with new coil and fuel filter and racing CDI box. Tuesday to Wednesday I get the carburetor. I haven't changed the spark plug for over 8 months. Same for the carburetor I ran it all last winter. Honestly I think it's even the one that came with it but my moped is 2023. I'm assuming Chinese carbs go out easy? My mechanic said bigger carbs don't help speed but use more fuel. Also if a pistol or seals were bad, it would blow constant white smoke right? Thanks in advance if by luck any replies haha. I need knowledgeable people that work on mopeds so I can learn some pointers 😂
EDIT: miss worded what's installed on my moped, the 80-100cc big bore, but the variator and clutch are the ones I haven't installed yet. I'm hoping as soon as I swap out my carb and spark plug and CDI and spark plug coil, performance clutch and variator with the rollers that come with it. One more question, does a 18mm carb manifold fit a 20mm one? Looks like there's play for even a 24mm haha.

ill also very soon order 47mm bbk.
do you have any input on thier crankshaft ? sure it wont by ssp-g or naraku, but i cant afford 250-300 CAD with shipping for that right now.
i have a weird knocking nosie and i cannot find the cause.
