I'm convinced they're listening to my conversations more than ever now. Every video that's been recommended has been a question I've asked out loud near my phone then boom! A day or so later a recommended video for my question. I'm not mad though 😂
45 min+ 10 /15 (clean ,naked nail prep)=55/60min. If having to remove or soak off old add additional 15/20 min to above time depending on thickness of old.
Exactly. Takes me about an hour or so to do my dip. I soak off using the baggie method on my channel so it only takes another 5 minutes to do a soak off.
I love this because we get a step by step tutorial on how to use dip powder correctly. I Also love that you give us an approximate time it should take, I know everyone works at their own pace but knowing about how long it takes is always good to help us improve thank you for sharing this with us we really are lucky
I love that you showed all the beautiful colors, but mostly I love that you showed us how to you the dip powder step by step and made it easy to understand for either people who learned it already but need a refresh to beginners that want to learn. Thank you for sharing this very useful tutorials it is greatly appreciated
For the people wondering about how long dip takes with the tip and prep work... At my salon & most pros I have watched take about an hour for a refill for acrylic and about an hour for the dip. You always want to remember that you have to include time for soak off with each set.... I'm going to be honest here and say it takes me 2-3 hours 😂 I am still new to the process and I also only soak one hand at a time. I can guarantee if you're not a pro it'll take at least an hour and a half. It takes me even longer to prep the tips bc they're always too big for my fingers since I have such small nail bits. But not everybody uses tips so that could be a huge reason she didn't include it, idk.
It’s been eight months, how are you enjoying your dip starter kit? I just ordered mine and I can’t wait. Can you Let me know what you like most and what part you’re struggling with?
@@MsVanillaex I forgot I made this comment. Did I say I was never going to the nail salon again? Well that was a lie lol. I actually just started going back a couple of months ago. But now I am officially going to be doing my nails from now on. I am so picky and hate to spend money on work that I do not believe is perfect. Anyway, I got really good at doing my own nails with this dip kit. They are exactly how I want them. I have watch so many UA-cam videos for reference which really helped. The reason I stopped because I hate how messy it is. I feel like the powder gets everywhere and although I clean up after myself very well, I could still feel the powder everywhere. There are only 2 cons that come to mind. 1. I recommend not placing the glue(step 2: base) near the cuticle. Leave a slight gap. If you place the glue right after the cuticle, the nail will grow out with hard sharp edge. You could file that part down when it grows out, but it will be a bit difficult and just feels uncomfortable. 2. The top coat does not have a great shine, very subdued or non-existent. I personally haven’t had the problem, but after a couple my friends got the same kit and tried it out, the top coat does not dry shiny at all. Found out the top coat is actually nail glue too. The top coat I received had a shine, but not bright enough. So I used a gel top coat that I already had. Other than that I love it. I think it’s super easy to use, just like painting your nails with mail polish. If you have thin, brittle nails like I do, you may want to do 1-2 more dips/coats for a thicker/stronger nail so the dip or nail will not crack/chip.
It takes me a while. Even with gelly tips, takes me around 3 hours for a fullset. It is so worth it though, as they last weeks until I decide to take them off!
Today I tried the French kit for a first time and absolutely love it 😍 highly recommend the product is easy to follow and achieve a beautiful nails !!! Thank you 💚🌹🧡❤️🌸🥰💕⭐️
Took me 4 hrs w tips, also did 3 colors on each nail w 2-3 coats. That's w prep of everything. My 1st time using powder dip. I was exhausted but they are still on 3wks now. Did one fill in, that took over an hr w prepping nail beds and filing to make nails even prior to fill in with dip powder.
Also, THANK YOU for the video by the way! I appreciate it and the brand is amazing ♡ It is unreal sometimes all the negativity you see in the comments. People doubting that you can glue tips on in 10 mins? I guess they've never been to a professional nail salon because my babe does it ALL the time. Closer to 15 prob with the shape but like the tech explained, everyone's prep varies.
Even when I was getting dip in a salon it would take an hour with soak off, nail prep, application without tips, shaping, and drying the top coat. Now that I'm doing my own nails I'm able to do a simple solid mani in an hour. If I'm doing an intricate design or applying delicate decals it's a good 2-3 hours
Hi I’m new in your channel, you have beautiful nails designs, it inspires me to be better, but I have a question 🤦🏽♀️ do you have a video where you explain why does the acrylic come off the nail at the cuticle? It always happens to me.... thank you very much for sharing your wonderful demonstrations, I want to know which is the best profesional dril for nails?
Hello, I love how you did your Dipping system you did long nails are they durable as acrylic to last the client ? I thought Dipping System was just for short manicure nails?
Grapefruit Cosmo and 90's Baby are such great colors!! 💗There is a video coming out soon recreating that set so be sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell if you haven't yet so you're notified when we release it. 💕
Why did you sprinkle the clear instead of dipping? Also, sometimes I get see through blotches on my opaque colors and I have to go back and redip. Any suggestions?

Wait I’m confused, what is the powder you used before the actual dip color? Why do you use it? I haven’t seen this in other videos. Just curious what the benefit might be? Thank you!
Hmm, the nail salon i worked at technically nevwr applied a clear coat at the end, but instead shape, buff, cuticle cut with efile and then gel base, lastly gel top. Its a bit weird how manufacturers do it vs random nail salons.

Hi, I have a question. I want to start making Kiara Sky nails with the starter kit and would like to know how many clients the kit would reach me for? approximately
I don’t like to time how long it takes for me to do both hands with the nail tips. For me, i just enjoy doing nails. It’s a lot of fun & i can try to get really creative.

Kiara Sky Dip Essentials Kit:
Step 1: Bond (Nail primer)
Step 2: Base (Nail glue)
Step 3: Seal protect (Activator)
Step 4: Top (Clear top coat)
Step 5: Nourish oil (Vitamin E Nail/Cuticle oil)
Step 6: Brush saver (Probably acetone)

Kiara Sky Nails you still have to do the tip application and prep for the service so shouldn’t it be included in the time...
Wow some people !!!!!

The base/top coats are the same as the ones used for gel nails? You don’t need to use UV light?

What about cuticle area you havents done them, with the efile, cut them later out that also takes around 10-15minut extra, but 1 hr is nice :)

The glitter in that's phat doesn't stand out at all.. how do I get an even application of the glitter chunks??
Do we let them air dry in between? Or do we use an Uv light
Do you have to use natural dip at the start of can you use the clear one as well as using it at the end?
