    At 1:09, I think that's only a slide potentiometer not the actual speed controller. Also, at 13:09, that LED really needs a resistor in series otherwise it's going to burn up quickly. Another tip, because you're working with a lot of plastic, I advice that whenever you start a screw you turn it backwards until you feel the screw "fall". This means that the screw has engaged the previously cut threads. Otherwise, the screw will keep cutting new threads in the plastic until no plastic is left.

    What a great job, how many years of use would you say those tools had?

    Brushless motors always start a bit later from pushing the button... don't like that, anyway very nice restoration...🌟💯%

    Hello, tell me, please, what kind of lubricant do you lubricate the impact mechanisms of the wrenches?

    saw your restoration of the milwaukee 2606-20 well done. did the same to mine but the RPMs are ~315 rather than 450 in 1st gear and around 1280 in gear 2 instead of the 1800 it's advertised for. any tips for getting better rpms? Some recommend new brushes but the current ones don't seem to be bad

      You can first confirm whether the battery is fully charged, whether it is a five-cell or ten-cell battery.
      Then there is the carbon brush issue.

      @RefurbishmentKJ tested it with the m18 2.0 cp, 3.0 xc, 3.0 cp high output and 5.0 xc the difference was about 5 - 10 rpms (and yes fully charged). Might need new brushes but I'm curious what "bad" brushes look like. I'd assume worn thin or cracked which doesn't seem to be the case.

    What grease did you use?

  • @QuockhanhPham20
    @QuockhanhPham20 3 місяці тому

    you forgot to clean inside the trigger , clean inside it and put some grease for smoother controller , beside that officially the Dewalt often increase the rpm on Hammer mode on Flaship drill , if 995 have this
    on 1:09 that not speed controller , that board supported for Electronic Clutch

      Thanks for the reminder. I really should disassemble the switch and clean it. Your opinion is very professional. Thank you for your support.🤝

    KJ, can you please explain to me why you torch the screws and put them in gas?

    • @RefurbishmentKJ

      The purpose of fire-burning oil dipping is to prevent rust, which can form a dense oxide layer on the surface of the screw
