Very nice refurbishing project. I especially like how you reworked the decals. Clever I'd say. I actually had a local business give me their broken 1/2" impact DeWalt cordless driver because the anvil nose section was broken. So I bought a new DeWalt replacement nose anvil and cleaned everything up and have like new tool now as well. Those 1/2" DeWalt impact drivers are seriously powerful for sure... Thumbs Up!
What’s he gotta do for you to think it’s restoration then? Melt the materials and recast them? Seriously man, he even printed new stickers for it hahahaha
Nice job. Could you put more details on the software you used for the labels and also where to buy the paper and protection film you used please? The stickers on my power tools are in a bad shape and I’ll be interested to find a good way to replace them. Thanks in advance!
@@toeknee5565 Labor and looking up parts and ordering them would be the killer. If it was worthwhile people would be opening up rebuilding shops. It is cheaper to just buy another one and go back to work making real money.
@@toeknee5565 I imagine restoring to be bringing it back to its factory new condition. Kind of like when they do a restoration on a car. I don't think they are replacing all wearable parts on the impact gun, so the lifespan on it wouldn't be the same as if it was new.
SO , you took a tool with a little mud on it and called it a restore job ? LOL . It's funny how the tool in your other video look EXACTLY the same way before you work on it.
The level and the detail of the restoration you make is from another planet! 👍

Very splendid restoration job. The impact wrench looks much better and it works like a charm too. Excellent work.
Cleanig is super...but the printer is fantastic. Nice job buddy.
That was a great job you did there restoring that nice tool.
Thanks, now it's like new and has great power😁😁🤝🏻🤝🏻
1 restauraçao, 1 lixo a menos no planeta 🤝🏽
Good work
Excellent job.
Went from a thrown away to a good working tool.
It was a opd tool he intentionally made dirty to clean.
For the light assembly you have to turn it to side to remove it without damaging, hope this helps 👍
Yes, thanks for the reminder.
knowledge is power . Thank you and keep the video's coming .. love and respect from USA,,,
GREAT JOB MAN I LOVE DEWALT
This wasn't a restoration it was a deep cleaning lol

Thank you for liking😀🤝🏻
Joli travail !
Pretty grimy.
Noticed how much time to spend cleaning it, too make it work again.
Excellent job
That's the advantage of brushed motors; you can repair almost anything.
Noticed the grease that's sit on metal, don't lubricant the bearing to keep things moving freely.
Very very good bro❤❤❤❤

Thank you! I used illustrator software. I bought the printing paper and protective film on Alibaba.
@@RefurbishmentKJ could you put a link to the paper and film please? I use mostly AliExpress.
very good video
EXCELENTE,DESDE VENEZELA FRANCISCO SABINO
Everyone of these type of videos the piece being worked on has the same 'patina' extra dirt, rust and grime. This is, rather has gotten old.
Wow, someone took a grumpy pill this morning 😞

Will that crystal protection coating hold up against petroleum products or will it get sticky/ come off?

I usually use lithium-based grease with moderate viscosity. Don't use oil that is too thin.

It is called a 'bearing puller'. There are multiple designs and sizes, but perform the same function.

Beter that new🎉🎉
The only way this is worthwhile is to have a UA-cam channel and make money from the channel. Cleaning and reassembling worn parts is not restoration.
But it is.look it up
How is it not

wwow
That’s not even the true purpose of an impact!! What you showed at the was best meant for a drill/driver.
It looks worse than it really his, just a lot of cleaning and soaking that's all, good video thou
Excellent, very good recovery
All Fake it's Called Photos Shopping ahhhhhhhhhhh.. Take Brand News makes it looks all rusty... ahhhhhhhhhhh
It’s crazy how restoration became a bath of shit and then cleaning+teardown
Fake.
