Is Super Clean non toxic and biodegradable? I use Simple Green because it's safer for kid and food areas and doesn't have harsh chemicals. I haven't heard whether Super Clean is too.
It would be good to know what Super Clean uses for a dilution in their pre made containers. And what your Simple Green dilution was. We could be talking apples and oranges.

See comments a lot where ppl say that such and such cleaner removes what X-brand cleaner leaves behind, and that might be true as far as one brand being better. But from what I've seen, each one of these cleaners takes repetitive application. It's the contact that makes the grime roll off. But not just the first time. After sitting for a few minutes, another blast makes the grime lift again. Letting cleaner sit on something, or even soaking, does not seem to do as good of a job as repetitive blasts after sitting for a few. I use a lot of these cleaners on greasy, grimy and tar-laden (from smoke) jukebox parts.
I’m curious why you used full strength super clean and diluted simple green. Each at their full strength would have been a fair test. I have been using both for several months now and I haven’t noticed much difference. At full strength super clean will slightly etch high gloss paint so I’m a little more hesitant to use it on nicer equipment. I had to use some buffing compound to renew my paint after using super clean.
From what I understand from the information they sent me, the gallon bottle is full concentrate. The spray bottle is prediluted. I mentioned the Simple Green was diluted because I mixed that myself 1:1 and wanted that mentioned. Since this was filmed, I have purchased and now use Super Clean and can confirm it outperforms Simple Green for sure.
@@kbssmallenginerepair2615 I had always understood that the Super Clean spray bottle is also concentrated, and not prediluted. So are you saying that with your own purchase, you were able to test apples to apples (i.e., 1:1 for both Super Clean and Simple Green) and Super Clean was superior? Thank you for the video!
That was a good review. I'd like to see how they compare when used with a scrub brush and some elbow grease!

I've used Purple Power before , it was the best price I found locally in 2.5 gallon containers , I've tried to switch to bulk for the price savings . Great Video as always .

if you want more comparisons. try k &n power clean and oven cleaner. both do great jobs however i think they cost more
I am getting ready to purchase more Super Clean concentrate. The gallon lasted a couple years. Decided to see if there were comparison videos. Sure enough. It beat simple green and purple power. I know it works for every chore that has faced with me. Lasted was power steering pump replacement from slow leak over a few months. Live on dirt road 😩. There was gunk built up 1/8”. It works best to let it soak as long as possible without water. After keeping areas wet for 15~ minutes. I always use pressure washer not good water pressure 😩 Woosh all washed off. Wiped with white cloth. Came back clean 😊😀😎 Thanks for the vid. I am reassured Super Clean is the shït!!! Four wheeler, motorcycle, and lawn mower repair. This makes for a Super Clean start to repairs. 👍🏼👍🏼 I’ll be purchasing another gallon tomorrow. So I’ll be set for the next couple years. Until then.

Got my new gallon. Definitely start without water. If you start with water you are diluting further. I Spray on to wet. Then adjust for mist to keep wet. Stay Clean 😎
8:51 Not sure how fair that test is since one side is more heavily coated in oil gunk than the other two sides.
I can see that, but considering the Super Clean took off most the gunk on the bad side and the Simple green barely touched the side that wasn’t as bad...the comparison is still effective.
I'm looking for a degreaser for my engine after i changed my VVT Solenoid got oil everywhere and need it cleaned up. I may get the Purple. Is it safe on hoses and belts? because the oil is all over those parts in my car.
Yes it should be. I spray it all over the machine and rinse it off and it is completely fine. It will not leave a greasy residue (causing any issues with the belts) and it will not break anything down. You can contact SuperClean to be sure, but I use it on everything.
Please tell me you didn't do that welding on the exhaust on the rider! I thought you did a good comprehensive test. I'm probably going to stay with my Purple Power, but I thought you did well!

Have you tried EXTREME SIMPLE GREEN? Is way more powerfull than the original formula, and it´s also safe for people and enviroment.

I suppose it depends on how much you diluted the simple green which will effect the end result.
I did a test yesterday between purple power and super clean and I'm shocked, super clean cleaned up what purple power couldn't do. it liquified the grime and oil residue that purple power couldn't take off right on contact. I mean as soon as it made contact with the surface it immediately liquified the residue and it's essentially a brand new part, looks wise. I'm shocked.

I personally like Super Clean. It’s dose a better job getting rid of the heavy grease...again it’s my preference. Thanks for the video Kyle. As I always say, “Leave it better than you found it”.
David, just as my video proved, it does in fact remove the heavy grease as you stated. For that, I will be a customer. Do you use it for everything or just the heavy grease applications? And you are right, always leave it better than you received it. Thanks for sharing!
One brand does it for me. I have limited space so can’t physically spare a square inch of space for multiple brands. BTW...I prefer the foaming spray.
I like simple green but iv always been A bigger fan of purple power. I will have to give super clean a try 👍👍👍

I know it sounds a lil weird but toilet bowl cleaner works really well. It’s also the best in an ultrasonic cleaner. Seen it on Steve’s small engine saloon channel. I have seen a lot of the channels I follow do super clean reviews. I’m just not impressed enough from any of the reviews to try it.

@@Gokywildcats11 just Honda dealers and they will rip you off while possibly never really fixing the problem. I just try to stick to certain atv’s that I know enough about to fix them, so I can avoid expensive dealers. The older an Atv, the more simple is rule of thumb.

I try to buy chemicals with a NFPA health hazard rating of 1 or 0 for peace of mind, so I'm hoping Pro HD (1 Health Hazard rating) has similar cleaning abilities to Super Clean (2 Health Hazard rating). I'm gonna test the two but I figure I'd ask beforehand
@@derek723 I have, and do use it daily. However, it is what I use in my ultrasonic cleaner. So I cannot tell you how it does as a spray/regular cleaner/degreaser. Now for the ultrasonic cleaner it is absolutely fantastic and I love it! I’m sure it would do just as well for any other use.
i worked for a fuel co for years and we only used super clean to clean of the fuel pumps

we thought it worked great. sometime the diesel pumps were a mess and it cleaned them right up

Honestly, I just get sick of some of these tool channels that I follow that "review" tools and other products and shove them down your throat without even using them or trying them because they get them for free. I promised I would never do that, so I had to preface my first review with that...
Foam vs diluted .. that sounds real fair 😵 Try a foaming toilet bowl cleaner.
Thanks for pointing that out. I am not sure if the Super Clean is diluted or full strength in these bottles. I believe the larger gallon bottles are full strength that you are supposed to dilute to your preference, just like the Simple Green. My Simple Green is Diluted to 1:1 which is the Maximum Strength. As I was performing this test, it just kind of came out that it was diluted as I remembered that fact, and wanted to share, just in case the Super Clean was full strength.
