I said "everything" so inevitably I missed something. Anyway, here is my lowdown on Season 8/Phase 8. Featuring TRACTORS, at least two 'jokes' and probably too much detail. If you like, give the video some love. Laters!

I feel the most interesting parts (for me) were covered only briefly. I would love to see the NG+ settings in detail and which trucks can fit the new tires? Any chance for the early trucks to get access to them? You obviuosly are in contact with the devs, so maybe you can that that info. I heard form another source that diff-lock will be added to the tractors, any news on that? I would watch a video soley about NG+ and the settings, the custom game mode is the feature I always wanted in Snowrunner. Is the older traactor not able to hitch up basic trailers? I think I saw Sd1one showing that.
Hey do you know when it will be released on old gen Xbox because phase 7 took forever after the release date to finnaly appear? Just wondering
@@FireGodDabi Unless something goes wrong, usually the release happens on all platforms on the same day. Phase 7 was hopefully just an anomaly.
We seriously need the Wisconsin starting screen back. When all the phases are finished it’s be nice if we could choose the old screens just for nostalgia sake.
That was definitely one of the better ones. Maybe the game could show the region you last used in a save.
I'm new to the whole franchise and the current start screen is the only one I know. I'm not a fan lol. I wish I could change it

With the introduction of logging we got new contracts on the old maps.
I'm hoping they go back and make use of the already existing farms on the original map in the same fashion with this new stuff.

That vehicle is clearly the McFly Autogiro TR-7472. You can use it to fly to the top of the surprisingly large buildings.

This is probably the only game I’ve ever played that releases DLC faster than I can even finish them, I’m still on the Yukon maps.

Kinda sad about no more real life locations. Maybe they should consider doing Michigan again, since: 1. All of the locations in game were all from the lower peninsula of Michigan 2. Michigan has a whole separate upper peninsula 3. Upper Michigan(in some areas) did have a crazy flood in 2018, and therefore would fit the exact theme of the game
Bro I've always said if they could take snow runners physics and farmin Sims physics and combine them into one game it would be the ultimate game farmin on snowrunner is something I've always dreamed of
You're not wrong, the game looks glorious and the low-speed physics stuff suits farming brilliantly.

Season 8 looks fine to me 4huge regions and new trucks for farming . But saber /focus needs to really do something more with past regions cause there is so much more left to do in them !! But time will tell ..

One thing I wish they would do for snowrunner is to make completing tasks more rewarding. I am at the point in the game where I have enough money, and I am leveled up as high as I can go. There is nothing really rewarding for completing a tasks other than crossing it off the list. I wish they made it so I had more incentive to complete certain tasks. Even if it was for an upgrade for a truck, or even just a colorway for a truck. I like tasks that open other parts of the map, or routes on the map as well. Figuring out what tasks to complete in what order is part of the fun.
Maybe completing the farming tasks will be more rewarding. It does look promising and I will give it a go for sure. Thanks for the preview Ben.
I think both tractors should probably have always on diff lock pretty sure that's a thing with tractors
Even with 4x4 tractors you still have to step on the differencial peddle to lock back tires in
not all tractors sadly, 4x4 ones that are older like the old Kroviettes has a mechanical locking differental and mechanical engaging 4wd while the new krovietes probbly has a electronic engaging differental when the computer senses slippage at the wheels it will lock the diffs, i just hope the game devs add this to the machines or they will be pretty useless considering tractors and mud dont mix well
Watching you not drive straight in the field causes me pain as someone who has played farming sim
It was the first time testing, will make sense not to drive in wonkily next time.
A Farming Simulator type game with Snowrunner ground physics would be awesome. Anybody else disappointed when Cattle and Crops ditched their ground deformation promise? For now I suppose phase 8 will have to do.
That Step took overheating to a whole new level
Everytime I play snowrunner what would make perfect and more challenging is npc traffic. Forcing you to move to the right on tight roads or waiting for them to pass so you can make a wide turn
I never liked the racing dlc, never really grabbed me and still not really bothered about finishing it. This one, yes. Feels like it is getting back to what the game should be. I shall be happy with the kirovets, keep the step though. I wonder if any of the glowing eyed monsters are hiding in those woods? All 3 vehicles need AWD adjustment and Differential Lock. Without it, they lose their potential. It's very nice that the Creators have added farming elements. If there is a Season Pass for the 3rd year, I am counting on phases in which we will focus on logging and transporting wood. Or the phase in which the mechanics of loose materials, such as sand or stones, will appear. There are many possibilities, but the question of the will and ambition of the Creators remains.
P.S. When will we see the mechanics of working wipers and dynamic weather? This would greatly increase the immersion of the SnowRunner world
Having all vehicles have AWD and diff lock simply removes challenge.
@@SledTillDead Exactly. Therefore, realism is priced where the vehicle actually has these options, it should be in the vehicles in the game. Kirovets has AWD and Differential Lock regulations, while the ZIL-133G1 is a 6x4 vehicle, so it should be in the SnowRunner title
Modders to the rescue
One thing to consider about realism as well is that often forced awd and diff lock can be a negative. Awd (in game at least) adds to fuel consumption and diff lock adds to turning radius quite a bit respectively. If not a toggle than forcing them would be a more realistic and balanced machine for this game.
I also think loose material will be a part of year three. They have to experiment with loose gravel and sand before making the Dakar game (sand runner?), and what better way to do it than having us build roads with loose materials?

@@ATribeCalledCars As much as I hate Northern Aegis Installation, i kinda like the fact that a map can even be this stupidly hard. I hope something like NAI is coming in the future, as I really want to really know how hard a map can possibly be😂

A combination of this game and Farming Simulator 2022 would be insane.
Absolutely, the visuals are great but it's not as in-depth as FS22.
I loved that you showcased RNG3R's Patreon 6x6 MPV from 3:10 - 3:40.
The 4x4 MPV is one of my favourite scout vehicles, along with my Apache 6x6 (I have met the original owner for the IRL 6x6 Apache, when he worked for Western Star here in Canada (hence why there are WWS bumpers on it). It was a stretched 1959 put on a old Canadian Army GMC M135 Chassis).
Cant find the RNG3R's Patreon 6x6 MPV in the mod browser. Does it go by any different name ?
@@freezer6923 It's a patreon exclusive vehicle. Only the base MPV (4x4) is on modio. If you are a supporter of his patreon and still don't see it, I would suggest asking in his (Rng3r's) discord about it.

I hope we get some sort of fire prevention in year 3 that would be awesome clearing train tracks moving the power stuff for the planes delivery plane parts of planes themselves possibly delivery water to fires rebuilding houses again would be awesome
I saw in real life k700 when was child, its looked enormous for me ) I will buy this season like green maps in general, thanks for videos. If you have russian speaking friends you can ask them how to pronounce correctly russian vehicles uaz gaz ural etc. It's not a complain it's just extra cherry to content :) I'm fluent both languages if need.
I know 'uaz' is pronounced "oooaz"
I drive vehicles of the same scale as the kirovets tractor every day, yeah they are massive, but you don’t really notice it much

What about the secret scout for dlc as a few people have found? it looks like a big Ford truck with six wheels on it. With an expressive paintcolor orange and bright blue. I would be happy to use it for this season!
I'm just happy i can drive my ford cabover on clean tarmac instead of driving a tatarin everywhere through waist high mud

I’m going to start this DLC tonight, I think for mods im only going to use my modded scout to explore. I’ll break out the modded ZikZ only if I get myself super stuck lol. Other than that, im going to use these tractors and all non modded vehicles

Question: I had a PS4 with snowrunner. Got a PS5 and downloaded it there but now, the mod browser doesn't seem to work. Sigh, what should I do? Thanks in advance.
Could try signing out in game then sign back in. Usually one of the ways to solve mod issues.
Did they at some point stop supporting the PTS on Steam? Can't find anything in the beta tabs despite seeing a bunch of posts and videos saying it was added to the Steam version.
Unfortunately yes, the devs caused save corruption and I think having PTS on two platforms was deemed too much work.

Can you activate fuel cost in game plus without it actually being hard mode? As in are you able to create a custom hard mode using new game plus?
I can already tell this will be a thousand times better than the crap show that was Season 7
I remember the legal dispute between Saber and Kirovets Tractor Plant, that made Saber remove the K-700 from Mudrunner and only include fictional Russian vehicles ever since. It's good that they settled it, as they finally realised that inclusion of their products provides advertisement rather than hurts their copyright.

I am quite excited for phase 8 I can't wait to explore the new zones as the last few has been quite small and lackluster in that aspect. That helicopter at the end is obviously the Babushkabus.
Hi, are the engine sounds fixed now? I have the base game on ps4, and only got a few hours on it, because of the bad engine sounds. I am no modder or anything, and play the game as it comes from the shop, so i hoped there would be something done on the updates or so. If not i am missing out on a otherwise great game.
Engine sounds in which trucks? Some are just bad and repetitive unfortunately, some are pretty good. Unless you meant something specific.
@@ATribeCalledCars well, the first few vehicles in the base game, snowrunner. Some idle/rev up sound track on top of each other, which loops all the time with an echo effect, regardless of throttle postition

That's the Tatra Force T815-7, a DLC truck so can be had on PS4. It's Phase 5 (Don Region).

@@jocking3 That is the RNG MPV 6x6 I think, was a Patreon-only truck but I got access so I could make a video. I think it features in one of my old best mod videos somewhere (I lose track lol).

Not saying that farming is necessarily a bad thing though
I restarted the game from scratch on Steam (+ Y1 and Y2 version), gave up on EPIC, it will take me some time to go back to level and maps, but this season 8 looks nice.

You apparently need to do Thirty Harvestless Years then it should appear. I've not tested because I'm testing another game but I will make a video about it and other things soon.

I need to check but on PTS the stats were the same as another existing tyre. Probably still the case.

I'm pretty annoyed by vehicules being totally useless outside of their release region.
I'd like the tractors to tow regular trailer so they can be at least somewhat usable in other regions.
Another UA-camr showed in his video that the older tractor can attach basic trailers.

One of the only vehicles to be useful outside it's region is the International Paystar 5600ts.
and the van body for the K-700 makes it able to tow trailers

I'm looking forward to this. However, I'm a little disappointed that the tractors cannot hitch to the regular trailers already in the game. That alone would make them much more useful in other maps
The K-700 can, was saving that for my truck video coming soon. And it appears the K-7M may also but it's not yet happened on PTS.

Sadly not. Unless the devs say something or there is a leak, we will likely have to wait until Phase 9 on PTS before info can be mined.

Yeh I get that, just sucks when ur on a huge map and you gotta go and put way points down and even than sometimes I gotta look at the map to find the best road to take
