  • May is Mental Health Awareness Month. With the declining mental health in 2022 reported around the world, we feel that it is important to talk about emotional wounds, and trauma. Healing from trauma is a life long process that often improves with therapy. Do you suspect that someone's mental health is worsening, because they have experienced personal traumas that were never healed?
Disclaimer: Please do not self diagnosed. If you noticed many of these signs, we suggest seeking professional help.

We may be done with the past but our past may not be done with us. And that was me from all the emotional abuse along with physical abuse I experienced up until I was 17 years old. I'm almost 60 now and it has just been a few years now that I consider that I'm living here in the present. It took a lot of work to get where I'm at and I'm glad I dd it.

I'm very happy for you. I'm currently still in a situation like you were, but, at least it isn't that physical anymore.👍

For me and maybe this will help you I realized I had let people treat me like crap I wouldn’t stand up for myself when it came to family and I let them run me over. And one day I figured it out my mom was a covert narcissist and once I figured that out everything made sense. I could see the big picture and I got mad as hell. I sat down and wrote each one a letter told them how their judging me was bulls”/t . You see toxic people project all the bad things about them onto us it’s called projection. @@treefrog0826 I really appreciate it, but, I don't think that I'm in a position where I can, as it were, "tell her off." I stand up for myself now more than ever, as I used to never even consider raising my voice at her before. But, I am still just a child. I don't have the sort of freedom or authority to say what I want and feel free, at least not without getting my ass beat. If I were to tell off everyone that wronged me, I can gaurantee you that not only would I get a major beat down from at least one (if not two) of my family members, but I would also have everything taken away from me and be shamed in front of my entire family. Not to mention the guilt tripping, manipulation, yada yada.
Anyway, all of this to say, no matter if I like it or not, I am under their control until I'm able to leave and cut all contact, or until I'm older and big enough to have the authority to stand up for myself properly. And even then, I probably won't, because I still love them. Regardless, I just think it's better for me to lay low and do what I can rather than making an extravagant, angry monologue about how shitty the people in my family are.
Also, I'm not angry at you or anything (text tone is easily misread.) I actually really appreciate you trying to help. I'm just explaining to you that I really don't have the sort of authority or freedom to do what you're suggesting. Much love :)

Most people often don't believe i've been through some trauma, because i don't actually do drugs or alcohol, and i do take care of myself. However all the other symptoms are still a constant part of my life. I guess that's what they call struggling, but getting better ? I was abused for almost 10 years. I’m a special needs individual. I’m totally blind, I’m on the autism spectrum, and I have CPTSD. I downplay my abuse by saying, “oh, it wasn’t that bad, it could’ve been worse. You’re just overreacting, it was discipline.” I got crap for knocking things over, especially in public. I also got crap for constantly touching and exploring everything around me, running into things and even getting mad for running into things. And if I said that I couldn’t help these things, I always got the treatment of, “yeah you can.” I also got crap for spilling things, and for a number of other things that I just don’t want to talk about. If I’m having flashbacks of my trauma, my escapes are smacking myself in the head, bottling my emotions up and not acknowledging them and downplaying them, music, or using anything sensory related.

3rd, if you want to go into how good things not happening can be trauma, it's not just psychical neglect. It can your parents not showing up to something important to you, people giving excuses about things to get out of stuff, ect.
4th, I have been in situations where I wasn't being fed enough food, so you saying that my question was a "pathetic" comparison is really messed up, I don't know why you had to come and be rude :/

    You are depressed. if,
You don't have any interest in any activity. You just want sleep mode.
When you wake up in the morning, you will try to cover your face with a bedsheet. That means, you just want darkness.
You may not have so many friends. But, Your friend becomes a cat/dog/any pet who will help you at any time. He/she needs to love you unconditionally.
You may have too many problems with eating. You will definitely addict to junk foods.
Food doesn't taste good, jokes aren't fun and you are not interested in movies, hobbies etc,
You might feel things were going very slowly. You won't get energy even if you drink Boost. You'll think that you are wasting your valuable time.
You will build every relationship very strong.
You feel very lonely. Also, you don't want someone's company.
You listen to the surroundings very carefully. You'll start to listen to feelings of worthlessness and also you understand the feelings of others.
You might have problems with your hair and teeth and also you can't maintain proper hygiene.
You find many people who are just for show-off purposes and you realize how many fake friends you have..
You may have trouble reading something in the article. You can't pay attention at all.
You can experience a diminished different sense. Small small words can make you very happy/soo sad.
You observe some people start hating you and you know they will never show it to you.
And finally, thoughts reach out of the universe and you'll start having thoughts of suicide. (Please, never do it)
Don't worry! Almost everyone will experience depression at least once in their whole life.

Now I know everyone may experience depression differently, but I can relate with most of those except the not wanting friends around. I'm lonely pretty often, but everytime one of my friends texts me I'm thrilled, and feel like someone actually does care about me. sometimes I'm too exhausted to go to events, but if I hear all my friends are there usually I'll force myself to go. Maybe it's because they know what I'm going through, and they realize how important they are to me, so they talk to me a lot. I suppose it does depend on what your friends are like though.

I have 4 out of 6. I don't believe there are topics that I actively avoid, at least not that come up often. I do bring myself down frequently, and am constantly tired. Drug and alcohol are not on my radar (after my brain injury I and everyone around me knew those could be a problem, though I never really saw the attraction--especially when they were causing so much chaos in my friends' lives). Mood swings are big, exacerbated by my BPD, and there are times that I just can't take care of myself for a while. Yesterday my depression finally overtook me, so I just chose not to do anything that I didn't HAVE to, and while my house is still horribly dirty I feel much better today and might actually clean something. Even though I'm 3 weeks behind in my viewing queue, your vids are always timely!

Hello, I just wanted to say that this was very helpful to know about. I know you just needed to use Arcane as to find something people can familiarise on or please the algorithm, but even if that were true, I won't try and question how much else goes behind the scenes of each video. I'm not expecting that you guys compile research on specific topics on mental health though as you guys pump up video after video every day (just to take no offense, I can understand why you would need to do daily uploads). In the end of the day though, if your videos helped multiple people, especially the younger audience, then I am glad you guys are doing this. I'm truly speaking as we need more people like this.

Just an easy video to help others to understand the underlying causes & symptoms of those who are experiencing this unfortunate prognosis. It only reinforces how within the "nature vs nurture " phenomenon, that the development can be transformative within what is brought within nature. Meaning that an individual has a prognosis from the onset, i.e: having an emotional shortcoming, with proper nurturing and attention, much of that can be guided to enhance proper 'self- concept' to emerge and proper growth alignments.
I sense with your readings & your inspector Kluso sleuthing, you know this and you are needing to start at a baseline. I'm here. 🤗

Just a reminder for everybody watching these videos for genuine information like I used to: none of the people making this channel have upper level degrees in psychology. Most of their writers have degrees in English. If you look at their "team profile" page from a few years ago, you will see there are several high school students writing for their videos, and one person who puts in her bio that she took AP Psychology in high school.
