I wouldnt say it's a functional martial art move, once the staff is out of your hands it's no longer a defensive tool

Dancing with the stick. I just wonder what we are going to do with this. It has no practical uses in combat.

Tbh we learn this for show off , and it's also a good hand exercising activity , there are many things which doesn't have any practical use but we used to those things like drawing , gaming, studying chemistry
