@@redrobotmonkey The thing about Louis is he has to take the route he's taking, he couldn't continue the path he was on because everything he does is being scrutinized right now on a much darker level than Shane's. It's great stuff, but it's not his best special, but that isn't because he's lost his touch.
This will always be the best jre moment ever
Crazy seeing how nervous shane was on his first appearance and how comfortable he is now on protect our parks
9:00 god damn that whole sequence hurt
Joe can be fucking stupid sometimes jesus
ua-cam.com/video/L5qynOa-mKo/v-deo.html
⬆️⬆️Did you see this clip of Alex Jones pissing off Joe?! He gets so mad! 😂
They put a commercial there as a distraction lmao
This is the "I'm going to kill Murray" moment from Joker
For some weird reason I laugh so much harder when someone doesn’t get a stupid, silly joke. The whoosh above Joe’s head was great. Shane’s smile when he knows he makes a good joke is priceless.
thanks for dropping that knowledge at 5 minutes. protect your creative ideas. it's not easy sometimes when the energy is flowing
Truly too good for SNL. Absolutely worked out as it should have. LOVE YOU SHANE.
Talk about timing lol
Best part is knowing Shane's reading all these comments, including the ones about that painful moment of non-laughter.
Maybe if Shane was actually funny.
Funnier than Rogans dumb ass
@@benbaer4697 His special is phenomenal. I'd invite you to attempt an open mic night at a comedy club, film it, upload it, and we'll compare his work with yours.
Hi Shane!
@@3dheadcreeps87 ooooooofffffff... shots fired
This guy is great. I loved him in The Sixth Sense.
haha wasn't that guy on Rogan's show too? I see the resemblance
Lol
Hahahahaha Omg this has me fucking dying
This is a fun game I play too
Lmfao bro I legit thought he was the kid grown up. 😂😂
Shane is the funniest dude in the comedy game. So much respect for him for staying true to who he is and having that “if they don’t like it then f**k em” mentality
How can you not love Shane. Joe completely missed that joke, which was funny and you can tell Shane wanted to share that moment. Let’s take a second and really let that situation sink in; the fact that Shane told Loren Michael’s that. Haha wish I was a fly in the room. And now Shane’s getting his spot light, love it.
Joe 'I need jokes explained to me' Rogan.
Have you seen
Elon Musk meets Post Malone
It’s hilarious!
Or...it just wasn't that funny.
It's not that deep.
@@murpsauce7168 Joe Rogan routinely does not understand simple jokes.
@@yeahok8192 lol just admit it.
When one of your favorite comedians tries to crack one and it falls flat, your feelings get hurt because Joe doesn't validate it with chuckle.
if it requires explaining to anyone, it isn't funny to begin with.
Shane: I'll just go do Joe Rogan next week!!!
Joe: {How much elk meat do I have in my freezer? I need more elk meat.}
Joe: What?
😅 #accurate
Lol I don't get it.

Joe was thinking about elk meat instead of listening to his guest.
@@SuperAtheist lol yeah I get that. But not why that dudes joke would be funny. Like I don't understand what he wasn't getting.
@@R.J.MacReady1982 it was just a silly joke, I don’t think he expected joe to fall out his chair but he could’ve at least acknowledged him
Had to come back here after hearing he’s hosting!
Shane:“I don’t remember what joke I said”
Joe: “they own all premises even if they don’t hire you.”
Shane looking away nodding: “I know that….”
Yo Shane, if your reading this I thought that shit was clever af. Rogan is a little slow sometimes.
Hey Shane! 👋🏻
Weed can sometimes make you go on a different speed don't hate hahaha
Agreed, while he’s talking to these people I just think he counts his money in his mind now!! If you’ll notice in his commentary in the last 14 years it has changed not his knowledge of MMA but his condescending remarks…
You're wrong, sir. He's slow all the time!
He’s not
9:00 is going to live in infamy in Shane’s mind
@I Must Bust And you know he's reading this too lol
Joe apologized for it later in the show.
Bruh it cut to an ad for me that just amplified it in bith cringe and comedy lmao
His next bad mushroom trip will be that moment on loop
Joes kinda a douche for that moment like wtf
hilarious that he missed the joke but two minutes later he acknowledges how funny his sketches are
Nothing better than coming back to this moment and realizing Joe was absolutely right about the direction of Shane. Keep protecting our parks boyz!
Shane’s smile after his joke and it just being a dead room is amazing😂
Joke went right over joes shiny head
Wasn't funny
Yea, that was weird... I think Joe probably feels he has to maintain humility at ALL times. He can't acknowledge just how influential he actually is. Truth is Gillis is correct - SNL is dead in the water, no one cares anymore. They're running on the fumes of a good reputation.
This is going in the jokes going over Joe Rogan's head compilation
Bit killer Joe
he's way fuckin high during this
Shane is so funny, every time I watch him he has me laughing so hard my sides hurt
Kudos to SNL for inviting him back. Shane is a remarkably talented comedian and a truly good dude. It's easy to see. Happy for the guy.
Shane got his Sundays best on lol
It's like a mix between The Sopranos and Charlie Brown.

Hey Shane, I know you’re reading these comments man that joke when right over Joe’s high ass. Seemed like he zoned out Dont beat yourself up over it
Joe zones out cause Shane said something about laughing at his own jokes on a podcast right before.
He didn't Zone Joe was like" huh, what? Is that what you thought" letting him know you dont have that type of power.
Without psycho-analyzing anybody, it was pretty brutal.
@@RaiderNation86 yeah the joke was Shane having the hubris to think he’d just waltz into JRE. He’s making fun of himself for thinking that.
It’s all good they laugh about it twice later on in the pod… st rogies has descended

Damn that dead air waiting for Rogan to respond😂😂😂
Joe was literally still stuck “Joe laughs at his owns jokes” …. He literally wondered off thinking about it 🤣
For anyone who needs to see this, the joke is that Shane could just easily go onto Rogan. It’s not about Joe, it’s about Shane making fun of himself thinking he could just go onto rogan
He was left to laugh at his own joke. How ironically untimely is that?
The irony🤣🤣🤣
lmao I was laughing so hard thinking abut that
Good call
He delivered and paused and waited thinking it was funny.....obviously J wasn’t listening but what do you do when I guy is being a clown looking for feedback and it’s not funny? Is fake laughing the right reaction??

I like Shane Gillis even more after the Joe Rogan joke. This was perfect. Shane you legend
apparantly I didn`t get the quality of that particular thing was it sarcasm
9:00 bro I literally thought the video lagged. That was so awkward my heart sank from second hand embarrassment
I was playing it while doing something else. I looked down at my phone thinking the clip ended
😂 😂 😂
I have the upmost respect for both of these men they are hilarious and genuinely good people
Dude Shane Gillis is one of my favorite comedians because he's so real and genuine. He laughs at his own jokes? Yeah cause the jokes are golden lol. I'd say him laughing at his own jokes makes it even funnier. Like when your buddy is trying to tell a joke but he's laughing so hard he can't get it out and that laughter is contagious
Joe must have eaten one of Joey's Death Stars to not catch that joke.
Had one of those 10 dolla moon bars
Dude… I died.
Omg🤦♂️ Felt that silence in my balls
It’s because Shane is waaaaay funnier than Joe 😆
The amount of jokes that go over Joe "I'm a comedian" Rogan's head is absurd. You must be new here

Because of this podcast, Shane is now one of my favorite comedians, dude is so goddamn hilarious, one of the boys
When something goes over Rogans head, it’s like seeing a dog walk on its hind legs or seeing a teacher outside of school 😂😂😂
Shane saying “I don’t wanna be caught up in any of it (free speech/cancel culture), I just wanna do comedy”, is so pure man. I respect him a lot for that. He’s one of my new favorite comedians for sure!
Yet he took the job and was going to stay at the job until he got fired.

The problem is you have to be a free speech guy if you want actual comedy.
@@drfroglegs There’s a big difference between passively wanting to say g*y and ret*rd in your stand up bit and wanting to be interviewed by Tucker and Shapiro to trash liberals - Shane himself is somewhere in the middle politically and he just wants to tell jokes. Free speech has been politically weaponized to the point where moderates who believe in it shy away from it for fear of being lumped in with nutcases on the right.
shane gillis's standup has me in tears. Ive actually rewatched his special like 4 times now

I don’t think he’s daydreaming there. That’s that rare, but smug way Joe let’s people know he’s not amused.

It's genuinely a blessing. Because he couldn't have done the gut busting skits he did on UA-cam if he got the SNL job. I haven't been breathless from sketch comedy since Chappelle show. Big ups to Shane!!!
My buddy and I watched and listened to pretty much all of Shane's stuff driving to Myrtle Beach the other weekend and I said the same thing. He wouldn't have been utilized the right way on SNL.
What would have prevented him from doing UA-cam stuff on his own, even if he had been hired for SNL?
Also SNL sucks now.
Which skits on UA-cam?
You can tell that Shane lives and breathes comedy. It runs through his veins. It’s totally pure. Love it.
