Nobody ever brings up how broken the healing is. It adds up so fast
Wanna supercharge the ridiculousness? Take 2 levels of Twilight Cleric on top. Now you have a super totem that gives temp HP each round and acts as a beacon for AoE heals.

@@danielsanders7538 It's incredibly fun! Easily the king of concentration if you build for it. By the time my Stars Druid hit level 20, she had a +10 to Con saves and War Caster, so while using the Dragon constellation she couldn't get lower than a 20 on concentration checks, meaning she'd have to take more than 40 damage in a single instance to even have to bother rolling.
Against weapons it's even crazier thanks to Full of Stars, which makes you resist all Bludgeoning Piercing, and Slashing damage, meaning weapon users would need to put out more than 80 damage on a single attack to even have a chance at breaking concentration.
Thanks to the DM letting her keep her Stone of Good Luck when under the effects of Shapechange, my Druid had a +15 to Con saves while shapechanged into an Ancient White Dragon, meaning a minimum of 25 on a concentration check to maintain it.
I can't wait for a Stars Druid video either. My first character ever was a Stars Druid and that subclass, along with Tempest Cleric, holds a special place in my heart.

The one in my campaign has Mighty Rat, Perceptive Rat, and Protective Rat. He's a rat cultist, so it's rats all the way down with him

I love this Druid archetype. I like dipping a level of life cleric with it as its healing buff stacks wonderfully with your spirit totems.
I'm always keeping an eye out for these videos. Can't wait to get around to Spores, Wildfire, and most of the Warlocks.

I personally think Conjure Animals and Conjure Woodland Beings needed the most fixing, concept wise its fine like how Giant Insect work but it DEFFINITLY need nerfs so the Druid and Ranger can still use them without downside
Recently played a level 10 one shot where the DM allowed us to pick one very rare magic item. Naturally I picked the horn of Valhalla and with 16 berserkers and 5 t-rexes (3 of which could fly), the final boss really stood no chance.
Gotta say this subclass sounds fucking amazing

Since the DM picks i found a way to keep it fun is to give the druid 3 nearby groups of the CR they pick and let them to pick 1 as this makes the world feel fuller and keeps them happy as they still get a lil of the power of a illusion of choice

I now feel the urge to create character who is a disgraced soldier from an industrialist town. He is banished following a botched mission, and then flees to the forest for safety. He encounters a chicken who leads him to a colony of druids. He learns their ways, and partners with all forms of fowl to defend nature.

Interesting fact, it was originally a poem written to the Goddess. Whom the author called fortuna, or fate. He asks why God has a dark side as well as as a light side. Why does fate turn on us? Why does it grow warm and then cold?
So it's actually an interesting artistic interpretation to have the singers recite the lines with such fervor. They're singing as if they are is the voice of Wrath and dark fate. When really they're supposed to be singing as if they're lamenting and sad.

This subclass is basically _summons 8 wolves or more on an upcast_ the subclass. See tabletop build’s flagship Shepard Druid for more.
A funny thing you can do with conjure animals is conjure an assload of birds directly above your opponent, have them fly their max speed higher, and then drop them on your enemy. Using Tasha’s rules for falling on another creature this deals bludgeoning damage equal to a number of d6s that are every ten feet the birds were above the target multiplied by however many birds there were. Oh yeah and the target ends up prone.
A funny thing you can do with conjure woodland beings is conjure a bunch of pixies and have them polymorph your enemies. Dryads are a decent source of spellcasting as well.
6:17 Yeah once you get to higher levels this starts actually being worth doing. Unfortunately healing sucks in 5e.
6:24 You forgot pass without trace and spike growth. Pass without trace is why rogue has no niche, by the way. A +10 to your whole parties, and anyone else who you might want, stealth checks is huge and basically negates whatever disadvantage you might have from medium armor. Stealth is really good because surprise and also noping out of any encounters you might not want to deal with right now. Spike growth is a control spell that deals damage, enough said.

Really hoping the next druid after it gets outvoted 10 times is the stars druid, while the two very animalistic druids are cool, stars is my favourite subclass in the game its so cool with so much unique flavour and helps steer the class in a different direction from its more typical associations.

With this you use an army cats or crows to use as CIA agents.
My favorite thing about Faithful Summons, you can summon 32 1/4 CR beasts. Just imagine dropping an entire petting zoo worth of animals to fuck up the evil wizard’s day.

Is there a difference? I mean... multiple spells at that level are straight up war crimes by modern standards and would be terrifying to face. Sure, I'd rather get wiped by electrical damage over the spiders, but I'd also take the lightning over immolation.
