the wildfire druid should be the next druid video, it's really slept on. i've been playing one for the last couple of years, and it's not only some of the most damage i've ever done, as well as some of the best healing. it's also nearly unkillable if you build it right. hell being able to cast spell from your wildfire spirit is insane in d&d.
The wildfire druid is so fun, but I couldn't make it good at utility casting for the last year I played it, what build are you rocking and what do you do with your character? (of course if you dont mind sharing 👀)
One of my favorite recent characters was a Gloomstalker Ranger with great Capentry and Cook Utensil proficiencies. The campaign was very chill and slow paced, so I would routinely build dug out and lean-to shelters of such amazing quality that the DM basically stop tracking degredation (HP) on them. One of our party was a Dreams Druid, so we meshed fantastically well together. Camps basically became comfy homesteads. We all joked that the campaign devolved into Campfire Cooking in Another World for us. Good fun, chill dungeon runs, nice RP.
Dream Druids are very versatile party members though. Brilliant healers, still able to pick some heavy hitting Druid spells. Utility. They augment other classes well since they’re a bit of everything. Even better with the UA feature of giving up wild shape to have a familiar that can cast spells
I always felt that feywild = dreams came from LOTR when Aragon told Arwen he must've stumbled into a dream because she was so beautiful. Life as a dream. You get some spell-less healing, you get to rest safer, and you move in "mysterious ways". Life is a dream for you and your party gets to come with.
Dream Druid, I think, is a bit underpowered, but it is undeniably cool One player in a new game I'm in is playing one, and the abilities have served the party well so far (I am especially surprised at how useful the lvl 6 ability is)
Just discovered you today and I'm all caught up thanks for keeping me entertained through my 6 hour shift at work. Your content is amazing and can't wait for the next video
Honestly, my two main problems with the Dream Druid are: 1) It doesn't have any circle spells or some other 2nd level feature, meaning once you use up Balm of the Summer Court, you might as well not have a subclass. This is actually the only druid subclass that only has one 2nd level feature, and of course it just so happens to be one of two 2nd level druid subclass features that comes back on a long rest. 2) The 6th level feature is fairly niche, even though it will technically be used all the time. It also has the similar problem to the 2nd level feature. When you aren't taking a rest, you don't have a 6th level feature. It doesn't help that it buffs one of the most boring parts of D&D since it typically requires the least amount of engagement outside of a roll or two. I'm not saying *nothing* ever happens during rests, but those instances are usually the exception, not the norm.
It must be nice to cover a class that doesn't cause the Dungeon Master to develop an aneurysm with how it can ruin any encounter said DM can throw at the party.
Can I request the Dark Tides of Bilgewater Subclasses added to a future poll? They were a crossover between DnD and League of Legends and they were on DnD Beyond until taken off for an unknown reason. They include: Path of the Depths Barbarian Fighter Renegade Archetype Roguish Archetype Wild Card
kinda funny that you’re using Pluck as the cover art for this video because if i remember correctly he’s actually circle of the land? i think? havent watched dark and dicey in a minute maybe that subclass will be in the next round who knows
So suprised and thrilled that this won the poll.
Yes we had other options
Yeah it was such a close win over circle of dreams druid, and circles of dreams druid. Still sad that circle of dreams didn't win😔
@@dat1trickbrony230Agreed, though I prefer Circle of Dreams over Circle of Dreams
I just made one, this is fantastic party support and not game breaking power wise.
How dare you hit me with that Shark Boy and Lava Girl song and trigger my nostalgia
2:30 nice reference it hits harder after knowing Matt will leave the channels this week and take a backstage roll.

Personally, we should do the Circle of Spores next
I really loved this episode of YMBADNDASMR.
It’s genuinely funny to me how comically *busted* Archdruid is as a capstone.

Bro really pulled the slow music + ASMR for the video. Absolute madlad
You can see the wild YMBA awakening from its hibernation to post
Watching this at 11PM, turned out to be a perfect way to call it a night. Thanks, Ymba.

Do a Cavalier, Coward!
“Fear not, Ranger! Barbarian, Magician, & Thief. Cavalier, & ACROBAT!”
@@brucewatkinson5254nice reference
I read it in DM’s voice
After binging all his stuff today I wanna hear him to purple dragon night
@@spaceninja1252 im ok with this too
Going just by your sign off… I’m clearly a dream Druid 😂
Loving the cool vibes commitment to the theme. Both soothing AND thematic.
Then hilarious with the interruptions!
The Dream Druid: if ASMR was a subclass of a narcoleptic Bob Ross
0:25 an absolute iconic part of my childhood, that's what
You really speedrun dream. What a flex
Wasn’t expecting asmr ymbad

As a narcoleptic, I think I found my calling.
The level of creativity in your videos force's me to take my socks off
Ah my favorite night track "Sounds of New York"
I always appreciate the work you put into your videos!

1 of 2 of my favorite druid subclasses
The ASMR radio was so chill and relaxing.

This is not a druid subclass you should sleep on.
... ok, that was a good pun 😂

Didnt know the dreamer was that good at healing. Thats pretty cool. Thank you
My friend is playing a dream druid in my current Curse of Strahd campaign. We love her so much that my Paladin proposed to her.
Now fathomless warlock
I keep seeing mtg art and I'm ngl it's pretty on point each vid.
we need Circle of Spores!!! take your druidic imagination to the next level and show us some fungi!!
somehow the youtube midroll ad is still more intrusive than the sewer main bursting
You will NOT badmouth Shark Boy and Lava Girl, good sir. That's my childhood you're talking about !!
LMAO wtf was that "come here often" video. That shit caught me so off guard
I really should've subscribed after the first 10 videos...
It must be nice to cover a class that doesn't cause the Dungeon Master to develop an aneurysm with how it can ruin any encounter said DM can throw at the party.
Dreams are like you visiting alernate realities or different timelines. Having/ being a Dream Druid can guide you safely through it all 🌜🤝🌛
Another amazing video
Can I request the Dark Tides of Bilgewater Subclasses added to a future poll?
