it would have been helpful to know WHERE ti put the tool. Above the handle... maybe? Some explanation of how deep to go and what to feel for. Crappy view trying to see with the vine in the way. It COULD have been helpful, but was not.
After viewing this video a few times, I have determined that this is a fraud. For starters, I noticed the locksmith didn't even TRY to open the door to determine that is was indeed locked, or to prove that it was locked. I believe it was not. Then, the tool used was totally the wrong tool for this mechanism. On the S10, it is necessary to push DOWN on the lock release rod, not to one side. The only thing I can't figure out is... why go to the trouble to give fake information to the public?
Took me several tries but, finally got it. Thank you very much.
