Damn it, I'm sorry. Sounds like the clip might not be installed correctly, make sure the lock cylinder is pushed in tight against the outside door and it should be pretty tight while pushing on. Next thing could be the clip is bent to where it doesn't provide the the pressure needed to stay in place. Last it could be the door could be damaged to where it doesn't have the support to hold the clip. Good luck and let me know how it goes. 💪👍
Sorry bro, I tried but the footage from inside the door was too dark. I used a flat head 🪛. It's hard to see and you basically have to work blind on that part. It comes off going in the direction of the front of the truck. Good luck and don't quit! 💪💪
Just bought an S10 and the passenger door won't lock. Thanks
Very helpful. Thanks. Really like your style too. Good angle, straight to the point no rambling. 🤙🏾
I love those maxiflex gloves so much next job I get that has those I'm gonna stockpile hella
Yup! 👍 and the green ones are rated for working with sharp edge material 😉
There is a 4 letter number next to the ANSI safety stamp that reflects the spec's for how good it is

The problem I'm having is the little clip that holds the door lock cylinder place keeps falling down every couple weeks

You didn't show how to pop the clip off of the door to get the lock out that's the part I was looking for

That’s good enough for the girls I go out with 🎉😂
Okay but how’s you get the lock clip in
You have to hold the lock cylinder in with one hand and reach blindly into the door and slide it on. Takes a little extra finger strength
Tools are a good thing
Greatness.
How did you get the lock out or in?
@ about 3 minutes in I show how the lock sits in the door. It can be a pain to get the clip off the inside of the door behind the lock
Good luck
