First time listening

The bells are for their first lead singer, Bon Scott who died and they replaced him with Brian Johnson. They made this song in memory of Bon Scott. I’ve seen AC/DC 6 or 7 times and they were awesome every time.
Bon Scott was an awesome front man, RIP 🤘😈
Bon started in 1974 a year after Dave Evans couldn't get the band out of Australia. Bon was their 2nd singer.
Shon has still not listen to to their live version of " FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK" where Angus Young absolutely goes wild :)
Bon was the best singer, but this album was my introduction ( had the rest in 6 weeks on c90s ) and still my favourite.
Great reaction. ❤
The bells ring 18 times in 37 seconds.37×18=666.
No self respecting rock and roller was missing the AC/DC Back In Black album in his collection!🤘
Back and Black is one of my favorites. Back in the day, I wore out 2 cassettes. I played it so much. Then wore out the CDs
Check out " She's Got the Jack"
Nothing’s more electric than AC/DC!!!
🤣👍
I see what you did there. 😁

Shon is the one that said, they were electric.
AC/DC has always been a high voltage band!
Brian Johnson was the only person on earth who could have taken up the mantle for Bon Scott, and I love them both.
I can't compare them and would not want to live in a world where they didn't both front AC/DC.
I completely agree with you both. I first heard ACDC in the 3rd grade! And BACK IN BLACK 1st ever song. So I did not know there were 2 different singers. Then I heard Let There Be Rock(album). Noticed a difference, but still did not know. As I got older I did learn Bonn Scott’s tragic tale, and how Brian Johnson became lead. So yes 100 agree love them both, and Yes 100 agree, would not want to live without Bonn’s voice. And also 100 agree NO ONE else could have pulled it off other than Brian Johnson! So 100 agree, you both Rock!
Marc Storace from Krokus. Fans were actually somewhat p!ssed about Axl and said they pay to see this guy take over on their tour several years ago. ua-cam.com/video/n1o5Tx3_xOg/v-deo.htmlsi=Qq1niUz0UvqM9d8V
me too. Still, if Brian is to the left, i am stigging to the right (to Bon).
Both are great, brian was the very best replacement that could be.
A tribute to their Partier frontman who had just died months earlier. As Angus would comment all the time, "Bon really liked to boogie". Their first lead singer was Dave Evans in 1973. He wasn't very good so they replaced him with Bon Scott in 1974. Bon died in 1980 and Brian replaced him as their 3rd singer.
I've seen ACDC twice, and the full show was all about energy. no filler, just song after song, pure energy. When you left you felt energized.
And a bit deaf. lol
"Ride On" is tremendous.....AC/DC has so many hits
This song, I 1st heard, in 1980, when I was 15, in a locked juvenile facility, in Denver. I was mesmerized, hypnotized, & tantalized bout my future. For the first time. I know it sounds crazy!!! It broke my despair!!!
AC/DC are such a kick to listen to. Check out "You Shook Me All Night Long" for another of their all time classics.
Absolutely love the smile that came across your face when that guitar started
I've been watching a lot of these reactions. Somehow super cool seeing someone discover the music I've loved for so long.
1980. Still gives me goosebumps.
Oh you gotta do " who made who" such an up beat hit of theirs!
Hell yes😂just made my day😂❤. True story... This song saved a soldier's life. He was badly wounded behind enemy lines and had to be left behind so they could bring help. He would always blast this song throughout his barracks. So when they came back, they blasted this song from the helicopter so he would know they were there to get him❤❤.
Have A Drink On Me by ACDC
CRAZY I put my acdc shirt on this morning.
AC/DC -"Shot Down In Flames"
🤘😎
Ain't it a SHaammmeee
Those bells in the beginning are Big Ben. The streets of London sound exactly like that.
I would have trouble going there then - I'll start air guitaring & singing
DUDE; that smile when Angus starts to "turn er up" a bit 😀
Son; you just made this ol boys evening.
Great music is color blind and timeless. So glad you are experiencing our beloved music 😀
Anyone else remember this song in Maximum Overdrive? 🤘🤘
Great movie!!!
love the vocals and of course the instrumentals great song.
That's when I first heard it.
Fell in love with 18 wheelers with that movie... even though it was a bit of an 80s cheesy flick😁
@@PML78 my Dad drove an 18 wheeler for many years. I remember this movie.
Now being 60 years old, and hearing this in high school when it was released, I pretty much had the same reaction.
When Trevor Hoffman was a relief pitcher for the Padres, this was his entrance song. He was the first player to ever have 600 wins as a relief pitcher. The song was so appropriate.
NO group or artist has ever reached down as far into the primal soul of all of us like AC/DC. They just shake your core. You want to inspire some folks to walk into fire with you, Play 'em some Ac/DC. The finest hype music of all time.
AC/DC is like a drug....one riff and you're hooked!
I am 70 years old and have always loved AC/DC
I was 16 the summer of '80, and when we heard this, we knew AC/DC was going to be just fine.
The bell you're hearing is the actual Hells Bell the band had made to tour with. It's a bloody big brass bell that doesn't regularly tour with them much now. But when they did, the bell would be lowered close to stage level toward the the end of hells bells. Then, Brian would get a small sledgehammer and just lay right into that bell up to the endof the song! And yes, fucking loud it is! The inspiration for this song actually comes from when a massive storm hit the Bahamas, where Back in Black was recorded. Exclamations of "Hells Bells!" & "It's rolling thunder!" & "It's pouring with rain!" were thrown about. Add a little artistic licence, & there you have it! Next hit!
Hey FIRST THING.....I love watching your reactions!!
You get so excited and smile!! You make me smile!!! Great song by ACDC! Saw them in the 1980's ....at Notre Dame
I was 15 years old and loved it!!! Keep smiling handsome man!!
The various undressing of Angus Young shows his level of intensity. Today, he lost his cap and jacket was unbuttoned. He rocked. If you ever see him lose the jacket, shirt and tie...just shorts and suspenders, run. It's getting ready to come down.
First time I saw them play this song was at Notre Dame and it was so rocking loud they cracked the dome! It was legit!
I’m sure you’ve checked out Ireland’s first rocking band, to make it. Thin Lizzy
- boys are back in town
- dancing in the moonlight.
Phil - singer ‘n’ bass was probably one of only about five black dudes who grew up in Dublin in the 60s, he’s a legend ❤️
AC/DC is straight up rock n roll 🤘🏼✌🏼
Love your reactions btw!
Best F IN band on the planet 😎
for years this was the song that would play at home games as the Atlanta Falcons hit the field. it was awesome
Seen them live in concert awesome show they put on, Hell's Bell 🔔 great song yay 🎸🎸🎤🥁🤘😆🤘
Seen these Cats twice. First time with Bon and the second time with Brian!!
Both times were so awesome!!!
This is a great reaction. Saw them play live in 88' - left me deaf for a week but I didn't care !! xx
Gr8 as always, AC/DC never misses!!!!
You want more of that "feeling" go watch the entire 2009 concert at River Plate!! Its great!!
I saw AC/DC in Germany in Reno and they rock
The legends themselves acdc
AC/DC C.O.D. 🤘
This LP BACK IN BLACK made after the death of BON SCOTT RIP prior lead singer first song starts with the church bells in memory of Bon Scott !..Seen AC/DC in 1980 when this LP came out never will for get !
fire❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥! LOVE AcDc!
Perfect name for an electric band
This is why I watch reactions. Perspective. I have loved this song 4 ever, and I never thought about the Bon Scott alcohol addiction connection.
My husband and I got married with this song playing instead of the usual. We're both huge ACDC fans, what can I say? Everyone had a blast at our wedding and my hubby was doing air guitar and singing (He can't hold a tune at all LOL) at our reception. No one could listen to ACDC and stay in one place.
Malcolm Young was the principal songwriter for the band and his rhythm guitar is one of the best.
One of Brian Johnson's VERY BEST!!!!!!! Iconic AF
dem school-boy shorts are as iconic as they are hilarious!!!
I already commented, but what you said about the bells in the beginning got me. I was 15 years old when this album dropped, and I was lucky enough to see them on tour for this album. Hells Bells was the opening cut, and when it started, the whole amphitheater was dark. As the bell tolled, lights slowly illuminated it as it came down on a rope from the ceiling....with Brian Johnson clinging to it! and pretending to clang it in time. Lights and explosions resounded when the bell hit the stage floor and the guitar started. Magical. One of the best memories of all the concerts I have seen. To be clear, the entire concert was dope AF, they played every track from Back In Black, plus many from the days of Bon Scott (and Brian did a good job covering). Awesome band!
One of the best concerts I have ever seen. They opened with this song. They had a huge bell with a long rope on the end of it
suspended over a walk way that ran down the middle of the crowd. Brian ran down the ramp and jumped and grabbed the rope
and swong on it. Angus came out with a San Diego Padre jersey on. At the time,Trevor Hoffman (our closer) would come
onto the field to the tune of "Hells Bells." He was sitting up front watching the whole thing and was going nuts! What a concert.
I'll never forget it!
Right on brother! hard ass freakin music.
Best breakdown and reaction to this song ive seen. Great reaction!
I’ve always thought this would be incredible entrance music; boxing, wrestling, basketball. Whatever. It builds up as you walk to the arena. Lights up and pyro as it kicks in. It would go hard
Back in black is fantastic front to back…
You can never beat a live acdc video
AC/DC. ❤❤❤❤
great song. i remember hearing this album at my friends house in his parents room.
Awesome band ! Great reaction!
Please Please Dive deep down the Rabbit hole of ACDC!! I love it when a younger guy, like you, hears their sound, and it captivated them. I’m 52, and they did same thing to me. So did ANGUS YOUNG. He remains my ALL TIME favorite. So to see you love them and him the way I did, in the 3rd grade… is just AWESOME. But yes please check out earlier albums with Bonn Scott. That’s the only way to really understand the MAMMOTH ROCK SOUND OF ACDC!! New subscriber as of this reaction. So thank you!!
Gone Shooting - AC⚡️DC.
ac dc 4 ever
I love your love for music 🎶! Ac/DC rules! Big fan of your channel man keep up the great work.
Good on you enjoying the studio live performance, now it's time to hit a reaction to RiverPlate.
😂 I knew you would love the bells!
That's the soul of rock 'n' roll brother. It's deep in your roots and mine. It's primal. And these guys channel it. No BS. No frills. All balls. Fun reaction to watch!
BANGER!!!!
One of my favorites! Just found your channel, love your reaction! Me and my friend use to drive around and get high to this album in her black pickup truck!
I was in Jr. High School , circa 1980. Omg...boom box's were the shit.
before rap, before hip hop. this band , AC/DC were very big on the hallway sounds. Those with the balls would blast them. Of course the disco junkies ( now i love the beegee's) and the new waver's would not dare to crank up the volume. But us greesers, metal heads, head banger, later butt rockers, didn't give a rats ass.
we cranked it up to 11!
You need to see the live River Plate one where he starts off swinging on a giant bell!
Brian Johnson came from a group called "Geordie". They aren't an AC/DC but I like them.
Saw this show at Madison Square Garden.
Good that you like them cool yay 🤘😎👍
🎸🎸ACDC🎸🎸
Can't go to another artist to feel this electric, AC/DC . well said
This is the first track on back in black so the world went from bon on highway to hell to litterally the greatest album ever made and mutt Lang produced both albums he will make you famous
Woo-Hoo!
AC/DC is a one of a kind group for sure. I also recommend Ted Nugent. Try a couple of his songs. Stranglehold perhaps, great white buffalo, cat scratch fever, etc
Yes,Stranglehold for sure!🎸🔥
Next wach them live at The River Platte 30yrs. later they sound the same and they crowd will blow your mind😊
Shon, you'll be a headbanger yet 😄
Great reaction
It's funny that there is another band that did a song that when I first heard it I thought it was AC/DC: Krokus-Love stick goes boom.
Shon great reaction! You need to check out “You Shook me all Night Long” for your next AC⚡️DC reaction.
No american date announced yet but they about to go back on tour I've sewn em if they come anywhere near you its a must to see them this might be the last time they can tour this is the 50th anivercery od the first album
Loudest band you'll ever see live
A lot of people do not like their album fly on the wall but I think it’s a hidden gem. You should check that out the number one track on it is fly on the wall.
AC/DC Australias greatest musical export in my humble opinion.
Great song😊
Some schools play this during college football games. Listen for the bell rings next college football season.
AC/DC's POWERAGE is one of the most criminally underrated Blues Albums of ALL TIME!!!
Johnny Winter Edgar Winter / tobacco road guaranteed straight up DOPE
Listen to it with a full (loud) headphones with more base or better yet a big system. Sounds way better than the earbuds you have on bud. You will love it even more!
You should see this live during the Grammy 2015
About time for a little tongue in cheek song....Big Balls
Keep the ACDC songs coming!
“Sin City “ Bon Scott cool Bass
I had the privilege of meeting Michael Durant. He was the pilot of the Blackhawk helicopter that was shot down over Mogadishu, Somalia. He was captured and held as a prisoner. His experience was featured in the movie Blackhawk Down.
Michael was a huge AC/DC fan. When he was held hostage, the US Army would fly over Mogadishu blaring Hells Bells over loudspeakers.
This was to tell Durant that he wasn’t forgotten and to lift his spirits.
He heard the song. It worked. Durant was rescued and is alive and well today.
Not a bad track on this album. My favorites are shoot to thrill and Have a drink on me.
i bet he saw thunderstruck first going off from the first 55 sec :)
Just a comment to keep the algorithm going. 👍🏻
Being a GenX....our Generation didn't see color....and to see you enjoy what we experienced...brings joy to me...wish y'all would all stop listening to to government..and see the there is only "ONE" race "HUMAN"....
Enjoyed your video..thank you..
