Gus is the best friend that never gets noticed. He came on the podcast to support Geoff in a time where he needed personal support. Shout out to Good Guy Gus.
Jacob Seger Well, he came on also to address something he had a personal stake in, which was the ad controversy, and his admitted misstep in not being totally honest. From the sounds of it, it seems like Geoff hijacked Off Topic to help Gus in the first place. So, good on both of them.
Hearing Geoff talk about his personal life got me really touched. I have my own personal issues and Geoff described it perfectly in terms of trying to find a solution. That, and addressing the criticism of the channel and the RT/Let's Play family. I thought it was very important to talk about it more than just addressing a comment or two and joking about it. They've been branching out long before any RTX, Off Topic, and even certain early content.
Lahm, I know I'm really late to this topic, but what I see here in the comments, the problem was that people jumped to the conclusion that the product was a scam with nothing more than anecdotal evidence which Geoff and Gus seemed to have covered at least to my content. Granted I didn't have a problem with the sponsor. Of course, if there was a different issue raised that they "completely missed" on their site or the subreddit, then I would have missed that and that would make sense, if that's the case would you please enlighten me? The only thing that I don't get about this complete non-story is who is that sponsor for? As far as I know most of their audience is kids/teens/twenty-somethings, is that really the demographic that this company is trying to seek out? Maybe they have more analytics that proves those assumptions wrong and their audience is older, but I'm not going to shit on them for getting a sponsor, I don't get that mindset, even if it sounds fishy to me, I'll just not use it. I'm not buying expensive watches or sunglasses either, but I'm not going to complain about them getting paid to make the content I enjoy watching.
Lahm, So to understand this problem more I went to the website for HIMs and tried to see if I qualified for these pills, I was rejected multiple times trying for putting in false information and then once I got into the medical page I was promptly rejected. I don't see the issue with this, it seems like a very well run service and completely normal at least for the US (I get it, our health care system is fucked, that's not RT's fault). The site recommends you see a doctor before purchasing the pills and they offer ones for you to go see, this again in the united states is normal. I don't know where you live, but do you think your problem with this has maybe a cultural divide at all? On a side note, do you really think kids are rushing out to this site to get "boner pills" because Gus read an ad on a two-hour long podcast? I just don't get it. My point that the demographics don't make sense to me is because I don't have the information that they do. Common sense would dictate that the children and a portion of their teen audience would not listen to the podcast (as seen from the views on those videos compared to other age targeted shows) so maybe that's why they thought the sponsor was a good fit? Also, you said they didn't address the problem here, and you claim the problem is 1.) kids are impressionable and 2.) Gus should have said go see a doctor. In this video, Gus/Geoff says go see a doctor, which Gus even admits fault for not being 100% honest in his ad read, and they both explain that this ad may not be for you, but it was something they were dealing with and felt some of their audience could be dealing with as well. I think they addressed the concerns pretty well, but you don't. I'm still puzzled at what exactly is even the problem with this. Gus didn't say don't go see a doctor, he didn't push the pills on to anyone, the service is there to take if you want, just like every other product they have. Maybe it's a cultural thing, and in America, this is normal where everywhere else it's horrifying and sketchy to watch.
I have seen many other times on how he angers other people. Like Burnie and Michael. I think it's just Rooster Teeth and Achievement Hunter is who he is born to upset
Geoff, man, you've always been one of my favorites of the RT/AH gang, but your courage in talking so openly about the problems you've had has immensely elevated my respect for you.
Not directly, but if you sleep with a dude you probably suffer from it more than you realize. Women tend to be very self conscious so Geoff's issue could have easily led to Griffon yelling at her oddly shaped breasts in the mirror or blaming her crooked ass for her husband not wanting to sleep with her anymore.
After listening to Geoff I really just wanted to say that a 25 year old who always struggles with ed and this is the first time I've ever said it out loud. Thank you goeff
Urologist here - I just wanted to commend Geoff for his frankness and honesty, and most importantly, his courage in discussing a few very sensitive and personal health issues. If you are concerned about anything that he discussed in this episode, please go and talk to your doctor. Whether you end up seeing your family doctor or a specialist, we all are used to discussing these problems - I promise, we've seen this things before, and are more than happy to address the issues. Try not to be embarrassed - let us help you. It's literally what we've trained our entire lives to do. If anyone has questions about ED, you can PM me and I'll try to answer all the questions that come my way.
I can honestly appreciate how two men who are entitled to their privacy rather share their experiences on camera and to speak out on such a personal issue is a rare achievement that I hope all of us can support them on. I have a few family members who dont take their health care in greater consideration and I hope that the example Gus and Geoff gives encourages other men to re-examine their health as well. As someone who has watched their videos since RVB, I can say that they have aged gracefully.
Rachel It's really heart warming, it is a really embarrassing thing to broach because like Gus said people look at you differently when you say you have E.D . I don't see the controversy besides the out of country people feeling medication advertising is bad.
Yes, like Geoff said heʻs really unfazed by sharing details about his life that would be uncomfortable to most people and go over and beyond to entertain us, but for some reason theres this shroud of shame on the topic of ED, for most men. I think that shame exists because a mans penis is a huge part of their identity and masculinity and I think that the saddest part of this entire ordeal is that men are more than just their dicks but would rather suffer silently and alienate their partners than get the help they need. Maybe the controversy is between advertising medicine that improves quality of life rather than health?
I love how Geoff just puts it all out there with honesty to help others. Whether that be the community or his friends at RT. I don’t think he’d ever be able to put his backing behind an idea or a product he didn’t believe in. I really respect him for that.
I went through these comments for awhile cause I wanted to see the responses and reactions about what Geoff and Gus talked about. I'm so proud of the comment section cause from the 10 minutes I was looking, only 1 person had anything negative to say about the subject. Thank you for being kind and seeing how much care and love is put into this company.
Darrian Weathington This is maturity and becoming aware of the world and people. Be proud, even if you feel guilty, that you got the opportunity to reach this point. I feel amazingly lucky that I got to find them.
I think for me, it's because he always seems like this crazy, just wild card. it's hard to explain, but Geoff is right. there's a stigma attached to this issue. the people that suffer with this just some they're the only ones I think...I think this really makes a difference knowing that this is a more generalized thing. pretty cool of him to do, not just to talk about this disorder, but to kind of tackle the pharmaceutical industry problems. good on you Geoff
Yeah, I have it as well. The upside for me is I also have no sex drive, so it's like having no food, but also not being hungry. Now, when I get married years from now, then I'll be looking into options.
I have a whole new level of respect for the cast of AH, specifically Geoff and Gus, after watching this. I will never personally be effected by ED but I appreciate and respect the struggle
I have never been more in awe of Geoff than in this moment. It's a huge thing to talk about those subjects on a public platform, let alone speak about them so openly and honestly. He is using his experience and opinions to make this subject and it's treatments more accessible for anyone who needs it. Not only that, he is trying to make it SAFE for them. Geoff, you should be proud of the man you are now. The changes you have made are truly inspiring and motivational and I'm sure that your stories have helped so many people.
really liked the fact that they talked about this problem for such a long time and so thoroughly, but i sure would have appreciated them saying that ED stands for Erectile Dysfunction. because for at least ten minutes I thought Geoff had an Eating Disorder
Erdnussbuttertoast sadly, eating disorders are talked about more commonly in many places than erectile dysfunction because of the stigma. So it's understandable
This is why context is very important. The subject of the conversation was about promoting the site that sells medication for ED. If it was a treatment for an eating disorder, or something else non-specific I could understand the mistake, but context is everything.
So, Achievement Hunter and Rooster Teeth has saved my life several times. I was depressed for a long time and thought about taking my life. But then I would think, “But I want to watch the next episode of RvB,” or , “I have to see Achievement Haunter,” or even, “I have to see what chicken Geoff makes next.” I am better now and willing to talk about it. RT and AH have helped me without even trying to, so I just wanted to put this here where no one will probably see to thank them. I heard how Geoff talked about how even helping one person counts. And I know I’m not the only person out here like this. So I just want to say thank you and let them know that they have helped me through hard times.
I love the candor from Geoff and Gus... it takes a really big human to do something that puts them in this kind of light. I am glad there are some people who still use their platform to a least try to help other people. Bravo Geoff
Man, what an emotional rollercoaster this week. One minute we've got happy go lucky conversations about big macs and verification. The next 32 minutes Geoff and Gus reveal intimate (not with eachother) and serious sides of their personal lives. Literall seconds later it went straight to liquid shits. Shits got me more emotionally confused than the entirety of my Highschool life.
Thank you for having the courage to talk about so many important topics lately Geoff, and also to gus for your words as well letting us have a view into your worlds for the betterment of the viewers in anyway you can help. Much appreciated
I love that you guys take such pride in the integrity of your brand and your product. This was the first Off Topic in a while that I couldn't stop listening to once you guys started talking about the serious stuff. Love AH and all you do. Keep up the good work and consider me a committed fan.
Geoff, thank you for sharing this part of your life with the audience. It is incredibly difficult to open up about our struggles, and yet you find a way to be authentic and relatable.
I just have to say Geoff you are such an inspiration, ive watched Achievement hunter/Rooster teeth since I was a young young child, I'm just entering adulthood with college and everything else, and seeing you be so open and so honest with your fan base about your problems it inspires me to be like you, and you always say to not be like you but I mean the you in this video, the one who has faced problems and overcame them, the you that is so very honest and genuine trying to help the people who watch you, your amazing Geoff keep it up!
Geoff is an inspiration to everyone with any type of problem. I wish you the best of luck with your current problems and any you may face in your future. Thank you for everything you have done, you have inspired me and many other.
Geoff I just have to say I admire and respect you so much. From the way you dealt with the alcohol, the divorce, and this ED issue. You're an inspiration and I hope to be as strong as you dealing with my own addictions and hardships. I mean I love AH content in general. Very entertaining. But I never thought I would find a personal hero in a youtube gaming channel. God bless you man, much love.
This is why I love Rooster Teeth, I’ve said it a thousand times and I’ll say it again. They’re the most genuine group of people on the entirety of UA-cam. They are honest all the time about themselves and their company. And it’s so refreshing to see and hear that in the current state of this planet. They’ve always brightened my day, whether they be talking truthfully or joking about, doing dumb stuff...there is never a dull moment with these people. They may not be the smartest, they may not be the most skilled (at least not those on camera 😂), and they may not be the most perfect human beings, but they mean well and they’re entertaining as fuck...so that makes them awesome in my book ✌🏻❤️
Ya know, I watch these guys because they're so funny and entertaining. But I also adore it when these guys get real and talk about personal issues, it's just as entertaining in my opinion.
Haven't you guys ever heard of "Clean as you go"? especially with frying, You bread the meat/thing you are frying, while they are resting/oil is heating, clean the breading stuff, after you fry can't mess with the oil for at least 30-40 min, so thats when you eat. then when you are done with eating the serving dishes/oil pot can be washed. Or have the rule, like in my house, if you cook, someone else cleans. Doesn't work to well though, cause I cook for myself.
I have quietly related with geoff on anxiety issues and depression before i even knew they were things i struggled with. Its great to see him and everyone else out there working through their issues
In relation to the title, not drinking soda is the best decision I've ever made. I felt so much better long term after quitting drinking soda. I mainly drink seltzer, which has the same carbonated taste.
I need to get some seltzer. I did the same and fell in love with it, but have since fallen back to a soda addiction, and now it’s at least one large from McDonalds a day. Luckily for my wallet that’s a dollar a day, but not good for me overall
MovingTargetGaming Yeah i cut put soda because the wired energy was causing health issues, sparkling water with 0's across the ingredients has friggen made life easier for sure, less guilt, natural energy and such. Recommended.
Geoff is so kind and brave to put himself out there with his problem just to let others know that they aren't alone and that someone like him has those problems as well. Huge respect for a guy like him. Not many people can face a problem like that and just be ok with sharing it publicly.
Achievement Hunter has come in for a lot of criticism in recent weeks by some idiots on here, because they aren't funny or creative and have been copying other channels because they are running out of ideas other than getting drunk and yelling at each other. This is, of course, nonsense. Achievement Hunter has always been and will always be at the forefront of internet comedy.
Im typically very... critical of youtube stuff. Most of the stuff in my inbox I consider garbage content that I just have on for background noise. I have to say that RT is very good at what theyre doing. Theyre for the most part pretty good at improvising comedy and making something from nothing. As far as internet based comedy I'd say theyre definitely top tier.
Everyone appreciates the open up Geoff. It's refreshing and nice to see someone really go out of their comfort zone to try and make others feel better about their situations.
I am a 25 year old man and when geoff start talking deeply about his and gus's issues, it had me on the verge or tears. Rooster Teeth, you make this world world amazing, please keep it up and thankyou from the community. Love you all!!
I love that Geoff feel comfortable enough to share this personal information with us as a community. It makes me so happy to be in a community that he trusts enough to be so open with.
We are all very proud of you Geoff, it is extremely difficult to quit drinking and it is an everyday struggle. I quit smoking 4 years ago so I know how hard it can be to stay away from it because of stress and anxiety ( trying to quit smoking is like trying to quit heroin, and that is not an exaggeration, you always want a cigarette, if I smell one I want to have one ) and I am very proud of you for being so honest and opening up about your struggles with ED, talking about it like this will help others to open up hopefully. ED pills should be something you can get from a pharmacist, and the same with birth control ( I have to use birth control for more than just a contraceptive because I have PCOS, even without that extra reason though it should be available over the counter ).
Sometimes in my life I hear a phrase or a story that just sticks with me. And to this day I could explain perfectly a tiny story told to me 10 years ago. I feel like Geoff's portion of this podcast even though it doesn't effect me today. I know this will always be in my head and in the future this will be a memorable moment for me. I love you Geoff.
so much respect for goeff and gus. i love how transparent RT are with us and i love these "lets be real" moments some people forget that theyre not just entertainers theyre people with personal lives and problems. they genuinely care about us i have 100% trust in them.
26:00 The term furry is any person who has an interest in anthropomorphic animals (animals with human traits). People within the fandom who dress up in costumes are called fursuiters while those wear only a head and paws and a tail are wearing a "partial" or partial fursuit.
they could also be trying to think of "Otherkin". Since a fursuit or a partial is often about putting on a show or being in character - while just tail or ears are just like "I think this animal is cool" or "I feel like this animal" and that would be close to cosplay (neko) or otherkin. Also you can 100% be a furry without a fursuit. (not directed at you dircetly Wolfen, just tagging on since it was the same subject and I wanted to fill it out a bit more)
I think the term Jack was looking for is kemonomimi and nekomimi for cat girls like Blake from RWBY with a cat tail. Of course, variations exist so Faunus are based on them probably. Fauna refers to animal life forms.
As a doctor in india just hearing the ridiculous prices for those pills in US makes my blood boil. I'm not talking genetic version, the same version you get there in india is way cheaper. so i don't know why they would make it so much more expensive there.
balrog0444 Just because companies raise prices to make money doesn’t mean their corrupt, it’s just business. The U.S has a history of being free enterprise, the government tries to stay out of private businesses. But as we can see, in some cases it just doesn’t work.
Unclenate1000 Would you care to clarify? I'm not trying to take any side here (I'm not really political at all), I'm just a little unclear on how that effects med prices.
I'm really glad that Geoff opened up about his personal life for that segment. Respect him so much. Just goes to show that he does really care about all the people that watch RT. Massive respect for the Ramsey!!
I watch this at double speed usually. In fact, I watch most of UA-cam at double speed. For 38 minutes I watched this at normal speed simply because of the sincerity of Geoff and Gus. Massive respect for you two.
I don't have a penis and I'm sitting here crying because I know it has to be hard to talk about your body not working right. I've had that conversation with my parents when they said I had a bad attitude and I couldn't explain or tell them I cant be happy and something isnt right. Its so hard to tell someone that you're not okay whether its mentally, physically, whatever. Geoff deserves a round of fucking applause and a pat on the back.
I've learned today that Geoff can be genuinely serious and caring. I thought that I'd more or less always take everything you say as a joke or played up story, but after that half hour talk, I respect you more than most people I've known in my life. I wish there was a way to convey how much I appreciate your transparency, but for now, I'll just say: Thank you for being you, Geoff
Geoff is my hero :) . Your videos and work since the first episode of RvB have always given me great hope and joy in my life. thank you :) . Your honesty has made me realise I need to take my own problems seriously thank you kind sir :)
This is part of why I think rooster teeth as a whole should have way more subs. They're super real people, i almost always feel like I'm part of their family. I value anyone who can come out and say that they've had a problem that's hard to talk about to thousands of people. I respect every member of rooster teeth. I love all of them and they inspire me to do my best! So keep it up guys and gals, I hope I can meet you all one day!
I recommend watering down any canned or bottled soda, so it tastes more like movie theatre drinks. It’s just less like drinking a sweet sugary acid, while still tasting good
I didn't expect Geoff to come on and make me cry. I'm very proud of him and his progress with his drinking and his ED and just want him to know he's great and amazing. He has people in his corner.
i am lucky being in the UK i don;t have to worry about medical costs, so i think it is fair enough for a US company to advertise a service that will be useful for folks on a budget. when i had a similar problem as Geoff i just had to book a free appointment with my GP who asked some questions agreed some therapy would be useful gave me a prescription and put me on what turned out to be a six week waiting list to talk to a therapist cost to me zero. the therapist was useful gave me a set of mental tools to work with which have been a big help.
and i not say you. but taxes is paying for health care. so people need to stop calling free health care, you know what i mean. i wish people would just call it what it is. and free is not it. I'm def not attacking you just putting that one little thing out there.
Geoff is what I strive to be. Personally with my own troubles in life he is an inspiration and a role model. Never saying you can’t do something, taking life in stride and making the best of it. We love you Geoff
It's really nice to hear people talk openly about such a sensitive issue. I have an issue on the other side of that coin with a massively over active labido and there really does seem to be no support form anywhere for it
This is fucking awesome of Geoff, and also Gus, to talk so openly and frankly about their personal struggle(s). Also the way they defended the company they built and still have a huge passion for, is inspiring and so good to see
Great respect for all the "older" gentlemen from RT. They've been through much and they are willing to help everyone in the community. These are great people.
My favorite part of the podcast is the ED discussion, mostly because i like when the seriousness comes out when they talk about a subject the have experience with or are passionate about,
I am an asshole, I understand that, but I completely agree with Gavin. I hate taking clothes, I hate going out of my way to stop what I'm doing to put clothes in the washer (which i have to haul upstairs, mind you) and then taking them back downstairs, and then fold the mound of clothes, then shoving them into a drawer IN WHICH THEY DON'T FIT. I hate it. So, Gavin, I get it. I agree.
Olivia Holyfield There's a difference between doing it once every two weeks. Then being Gavin having a hundred dirty boxers. He also piles it all up for one day.
Huge respect for geoff. for him to be able to talk so openly about a very private part of his life is inspiring

I have seen many other times on how he angers other people. Like Burnie and Michael. I think it's just Rooster Teeth and Achievement Hunter is who he is born to upset
lots of things anger and confuse Jeremy

Geoff and Gus is a fucking warrior. AH tells it like it is and that's what drew me to them. Respect to them for laying it down raw.
Huge respect to Geoff for saying this and getting word out there. Massive respect AH is such a good channel and often has so many good messages.

Darrian Weathington This is maturity and becoming aware of the world and people. Be proud, even if you feel guilty, that you got the opportunity to reach this point. I feel amazingly lucky that I got to find them.
I think for me, it's because he always seems like this crazy, just wild card. it's hard to explain, but Geoff is right. there's a stigma attached to this issue. the people that suffer with this just some they're the only ones I think...I think this really makes a difference knowing that this is a more generalized thing. pretty cool of him to do, not just to talk about this disorder, but to kind of tackle the pharmaceutical industry problems. good on you Geoff
ps not saying get rid of porn...just what it says about us as a species.
Yeah, I have it as well. The upside for me is I also have no sex drive, so it's like having no food, but also not being hungry. Now, when I get married years from now, then I'll be looking into options.
"Human"
I have a whole new level of respect for the cast of AH, specifically Geoff and Gus, after watching this. I will never personally be effected by ED but I appreciate and respect the struggle
I loved how geoff opened up in this episode. I respect him so much
I have never been more in awe of Geoff than in this moment.
Geoff talking about Griffon with the utmost respect is beautiful
Honestly can’t put into words how much I respect Geoff in this moment for his honesty and drive to help others.
A true roll model.
really liked the fact that they talked about this problem for such a long time and so thoroughly, but i sure would have appreciated them saying that ED stands for Erectile Dysfunction. because for at least ten minutes I thought Geoff had an Eating Disorder
Erdnussbuttertoast Really, when I hear ED I immediately think erectile dysfunction. Why do you think eating disorder?
because eating disorders are way more frequently talked about than erectile dysfunction, at least where I'm from (Germany)
Geoff kept mentioning dick pills, was that before or after you realised he was talking about Erectile Dysfunction?
Geoff, you are an absolute hero and inspiration, thank you for sharing what's going on in your life. P.s I want your hat aha
Thanks for sharing the process of the ad-reads! It's really nice to know this kinda stuff!!
Lot of real talk from Geoff and Gus in this podcast. Unexpected but not unwelcome.
I love that you guys take such pride in the integrity of your brand and your product. This was the first Off Topic in a while that I couldn't stop listening to once you guys started talking about the serious stuff. Love AH and all you do. Keep up the good work and consider me a committed fan.
As a fellow man. I agree. Major props to Geoff. Also, love you Dan.
Also Guss. Yes the internet is full of assholes. I thought you knew that?
I would listen to any of the AH team talk about any of their problems forever. you are all so wonderful.
good on you geoff, proud of you, which may not mean much but, what you said actually was perfectly timed for me as of this comment so, thank you
Geoff, thank you for sharing this part of your life with the audience. It is incredibly difficult to open up about our struggles, and yet you find a way to be authentic and relatable.
"I get sad when I'm reading. When my brain, like... has to figure out what's happening"
- The guy who wrote a book
I just have to say Geoff you are such an inspiration, ive watched Achievement hunter/Rooster teeth since I was a young young child, I'm just entering adulthood with college and everything else, and seeing you be so open and so honest with your fan base about your problems it inspires me to be like you, and you always say to not be like you but I mean the you in this video, the one who has faced problems and overcame them, the you that is so very honest and genuine trying to help the people who watch you, your amazing Geoff keep it up!
We love you Geoff !
Geoff is an inspiration to everyone with any type of problem. I wish you the best of luck with your current problems and any you may face in your future. Thank you for everything you have done, you have inspired me and many other.
Damn, Geoff adulting and being so mature. I like it, well said!
I quit drinking soda about 3 months ago and couldn't agree more.
I did the same thing for a while and realized that I absolutely love seltzer, I should start again.
I need to get some seltzer. I did the same and fell in love with it, but have since fallen back to a soda addiction, and now it’s at least one large from McDonalds a day. Luckily for my wallet that’s a dollar a day, but not good for me overall
MovingTargetGaming
Yeah i cut put soda because the wired energy was causing health issues, sparkling water with 0's across the ingredients has friggen made life easier for sure, less guilt, natural energy and such. Recommended.
I drink about a litre a day. Still healthy-ish.
Geoff is so kind and brave to put himself out there with his problem just to let others know that they aren't alone and that someone like him has those problems as well. Huge respect for a guy like him. Not many people can face a problem like that and just be ok with sharing it publicly.
Can we just have a monthly podcast of Geoff talking?
I appreciate you and Gus Geoff. It may not matter much, but I thank you for alwayz showing the community how much you actually care
They're not bad, but they are most definitely not the "forefront of internet comedy"
The forefront of getting drunk and yelling at eachother. Which, is kind of what some of us like most!
They make comedy of their own decisions and is affect by their community, which most UA-camr don't do.
Orlando Trustfull Forefront or internet comedy? This is a joke right? I love them but they are not the "forefront of comedy."
Everyone appreciates the open up Geoff. It's refreshing and nice to see someone really go out of their comfort zone to try and make others feel better about their situations.
"There's a name for those, right?"
"Futa... futanari?"
I'm so sorry, Ryan.
I cringed a little when he said that. It's like no, no, that's not it!
I am a 25 year old man and when geoff start talking deeply about his and gus's issues, it had me on the verge or tears. Rooster Teeth, you make this world world amazing, please keep it up and thankyou from the community. Love you all!!
"NO ONE would sit there and stare at the sun like..." I would like to remind everyone that Burnie did it.
I love that Geoff feel comfortable enough to share this personal information with us as a community. It makes me so happy to be in a community that he trusts enough to be so open with.
34:00 Calling it now: Moonball Dodgeball aka Hurty Moony-Doo!
I know Geoff doesn’t like being a Hufflepuff, but he is an amazing one, and I’m proud to be in the same house.
2:16:19. Matt is getting ready to punch someone for the many times he got interrupted.
so much respect for goeff and gus. i love how transparent RT are with us and i love these "lets be real" moments some people forget that theyre not just entertainers theyre people with personal lives and problems. they genuinely care about us i have 100% trust in them.
Thanks Geoff and Gus, Makes me realize you are human too and that everyone has issues in his/her life. Respect!
As a doctor in india just hearing the ridiculous prices for those pills in US makes my blood boil. I'm not talking genetic version, the same version you get there in india is way cheaper. so i don't know why they would make it so much more expensive there.
Because the US is corrupt af? That's usually the answer for most money-based questions.
balrog0444 Just because companies raise prices to make money doesn’t mean their corrupt, it’s just business. The U.S has a history of being free enterprise, the government tries to stay out of private businesses. But as we can see, in some cases it just doesn’t work.
Easy, to make more money
overregulation, the thing most people these naively ask for more of.
Unclenate1000 Would you care to clarify? I'm not trying to take any side here (I'm not really political at all), I'm just a little unclear on how that effects med prices.
Sometimes I forget how inspiring and real Geoff can be. They faced this with such a level of maturity and wisdom. I love this company. Rock on, guys.
I had no idea that there was an controversy surrounding the ad-read.
I'm really glad that Geoff opened up about his personal life for that segment. Respect him so much. Just goes to show that he does really care about all the people that watch RT. Massive respect for the Ramsey!!
Huge respect to both Geoff and Gus being open about this subject.
I love when geoff sits down on the podcast and gets real, it really shows the audience that they are people who have real world issues.
Respect to Geoff man
I watch this at double speed usually.
AttackRunRepeat It is a really embarrassing thing to bring up. That and the fact that people start to look at you a bit differently.
Geoff is truly an amazing human being. Genuinely nothing but love for the man.
TRAIITOOOORR!!
and THAT is why I love Ryan soon much lol. Laurie is VERY lucky
AND the "Matt Bragg" thing.
I've learned today that Geoff can be genuinely serious and caring. I thought that I'd more or less always take everything you say as a joke or played up story, but after that half hour talk, I respect you more than most people I've known in my life.
I wish there was a way to convey how much I appreciate your transparency, but for now, I'll just say:
Thank you for being you, Geoff
26:00 Oh dear Lord. No Ryan, not that!
and i am just sitting here thinking, "oh please, let someone google that on set. please, please, oh dear lord i could use that laugh, please"
glad im not the only one that caught that.
That Woulda been great if that happened.
Plus Jack's face after Matt basically says what it is...
Yes Ryan, YESSSSSS
Geoff is my hero :) . Your videos and work since the first episode of RvB have always given me great hope and joy in my life. thank you :) . Your honesty has made me realise I need to take my own problems seriously thank you kind sir :)
Geoff is the best thing about AH, hell even Roster Teeth in General!
God bless Geoff
I recommend watering down any canned or bottled soda, so it tastes more like movie theatre drinks.
It’s just less like drinking a sweet sugary acid, while still tasting good
why do people even care who the sponsors are....? they're funding the content you love. you dont have to use them.
Derek Ruggia People want to be mad. I agree with you.
Shady sponsors should always be a point of concern, regardless of whether or not they're funding the content you like.
I didn't expect Geoff to come on and make me cry. I'm very proud of him and his progress with his drinking and his ED and just want him to know he's great and amazing. He has people in his corner.
i am lucky being in the UK i don;t have to worry about medical costs, so i think it is fair enough for a US company to advertise a service that will be useful for folks on a budget. when i had a similar problem as Geoff i just had to book a free appointment with my GP who asked some questions agreed some therapy would be useful gave me a prescription and put me on what turned out to be a six week waiting list to talk to a therapist cost to me zero. the therapist was useful gave me a set of mental tools to work with which have been a big help.
i agree Medical care should be free the world over. Just as long as no taxes or tax increase will pay for it.
it does have to be paid for in some way general taxation seems to me to be the cheapest per person way
and i not say you. but taxes is paying for health care. so people need to stop calling free health care, you know what i mean. i wish people would just call it what it is. and free is not it. I'm def not attacking you just putting that one little thing out there.
Geoff is what I strive to be. Personally with my own troubles in life he is an inspiration and a role model. Never saying you can’t do something, taking life in stride and making the best of it. We love you Geoff
Ryan is getting Office Spaced. Next they're gonna move him from the main room and to the editing room.
Thank you AH and RT for changing my life, much love to the family
Dont think i will ever get tired of Poop stories from Off Topic.
It's really nice to hear people talk openly about such a sensitive issue. I have an issue on the other side of that coin with a massively over active labido and there really does seem to be no support form anywhere for it
jeremy is too "small" time to be verified
smol boye
This is the best episode of Off Topic of all time. It has everyone, the conversations are perfect, and it's entirely entertaining.
The thought of Matt being a healthy eater is a terrifying one, never change Matt.
ya but at least he balances it out with being a futa fanboy
He needs to keep himself crazy, stupid, and brilliant enough to give us more crazy shit.
Deadlypancakes he needs to got that ugly ass hair and then he’ll be tolerable
well maybe just a little...
Deadlypancakes Matt has already shaved like 10 years off his life with that diet lol
This is fucking awesome of Geoff, and also Gus, to talk so openly and frankly about their personal struggle(s). Also the way they defended the company they built and still have a huge passion for, is inspiring and so good to see
I love how Jeremy basically wants to kill Gavin halfway through the video
Great respect for all the "older" gentlemen from RT. They've been through much and they are willing to help everyone in the community. These are great people.
Reason y i love achievement hunter
My favorite part of the podcast is the ED discussion, mostly because i like when the seriousness comes out when they talk about a subject the have experience with or are passionate about,
I am an asshole, I understand that, but I completely agree with Gavin. I hate taking clothes, I hate going out of my way to stop what I'm doing to put clothes in the washer (which i have to haul upstairs, mind you) and then taking them back downstairs, and then fold the mound of clothes, then shoving them into a drawer IN WHICH THEY DON'T FIT. I hate it. So, Gavin, I get it. I agree.
Im sure no one likes doing that
Olivia Holyfield There's a difference between doing it once every two weeks. Then being Gavin having a hundred dirty boxers. He also piles it all up for one day.
Dirk Strider literally me 🗿
