Hey Sarah! Nice video! Hope u did very well in your finals. Just fyi, distilled water is separated from the mineral salts, which are the main reason why we should drink water. Therefore, drinking distilled water won't quench your thirst or hydrate you like mineral water does.

about all nighters i think it's easy to focus when you're alone but when you're living with family. when everyone sleeps you feel more demotivated and wish that only if you were in their place so you have no focus
that is very true :/ it can be a bit lonely doing all-nighters

Hi Sarah! This is the first video of yours that I have watched. I have an exam in 2 days and I have almost like 35% of the syllabus left that I need to complete, I have been procrastinating because of my phone addiction, I am coming out of it slowly 🦥
You just kept going and completed all the chapters in one go 🎉 I needed some sense of urgency to atleast start my remaining chapters and this video motivated me, subbed your channel just now :)

hi sylvia ! in my first year it was hard but a lot of the courses i had taken in highschool so it was more like a review. my grades in first year were definitely not as good as highschool, i was getting 80% avg? i hope that helps :)

Quick question! how much of computer science is understanding quadratics and calculus? can you do poorly in math and still complete a degree?
hahaha i would say pretty much no calculus will reoccur in any compsci classes. as long as you pass math i think you can still be great at ur degree :)
If you haven't already burnt your notes I'd love to self study bits of machine learning from them! Its a topic I find interesting :)

I'm a software engineering student and I am studying machine learning just like u. To get approved I have to finish a team project. We need to make an algorithm that identifies breast cancer through convolutional neural networks. It's pretty hard, I'm starting to lose my mind 🥲🥲🙃

I'm recently graduating. It is a bit stressful like I didn't realise what I wanted out of life. I'm in a gap year I guess-- just trying to make myself busy with internships and diplomas and applying for education overseas (: hopefully things work out.

for my amazon internship I did most of the blind 75 except not the dp lol! I found it hard to get started too but i just watched net code videos and did a few questions every day :) good luck!

Hi Sarah! loved the vlog!!!! i am currently in a dilemma to either join ubc science and risk getting cs after first year or go to sfu cs. sfu is a risk-free decision but I also have that inner craze about ubc and it's prestige but I feel that its too risky. did you also face the same situation, and what do you suggest?
i think the cs program is not too hard to get into at ubc and you can always applied again to the cs program after second year! and in that second year try to take the cs requirements if you can :)
