I "might" have dropped it!!! 😆😂🤣 Btw, thanks for posting this. I have been using various Eastwood products for years and I have generally been pretty impressed.
you should have seen it rolling down the driveway! lol. ive been impressed with their products as well. and the customer service i did have to use once and it was trouble free
Iv been wanting to try this paint from Eastwood which the wife just got a 01 f150 and I need to wire wheel the whole frame and put rust converter and under coating on the frame. It’s also needs a new bed because the bed cross member is gone from rust exterior of the bed looks grate no rust but you open the tailgate and then see it which I told the wife not to open the tailgate unless she has to otherwise it might not close. I’m calling her f150 the budget build and trying to do it for as cheap as possible but with good products and parts not buying premium top of the line parts just mid grade parts but as far as the east wood paint goes Iv been wanting to get it either way as we have 8 vehicles to maintain well 5 of which are ours the other 3 our our parents but we do the maintenance on them all only time they go to the shop is if we can’t do it or don’t have time to do it
I recommend knocking the large chunks off but no need to deep clean it. Eastwood has some great videos that address a lot of these questions ua-cam.com/video/OAGiOtW0rqo/v-deo.htmlsi=60Z7iD7jlTuECW0y
Doesn't stay the way it looks when first put on ...starts to fade away .But hey if you got rusty car trailer an want to look a bit better than paint away..but just so ya know it seems to sink or whatever you want to call it. But seems fade away
That is not how you use this product you can paint over rusted parts but they gotta be cleaned up to the best not just wire brushed i sandblasted my whole frame befor i touched it with this i made sure 99 percent of rust was gone or converted

how do you know you are not just painting the surface and the metal continues to oxidize under the coating?

Did you top coat your trailer?
I will. I'm a slacker and haven't yet. Also, with that said, Its been over a month and it hasn't faded at all

If you trap rust under any kind of coating it will continue to rust.
Horrible and misleading. Your title and comments in the video are of a different product from
What you actually used.
